The large mesa that you stopped in front of to take pictures is Guadalupe Mesa. It's worth reading a little about the history of it. Jemez is one of my favorite areas to visit. Nice video. Thanks for taking me back.

Hi. If you cut that slab of bacon in half before you cook it, it's much easier to maneuver it around the pan and it comes out cooked very consistently. You two are cute
I AM HAPPY TO BE HERE BUT I WISH I WAS THERE!😅 Used to go to Jemez (we pronounced it haymus) hot springs when I was in my 20’s and they never had any entry procedures or anything lol we just went to the springs in the mountain. For free 😊 never saw those facilities before I guess I need to go back.
Awww. We are very happie to have you. Yeah those were pretty cool but we found another natural hot spring in the mountains which was pretty cool. It’s like a mile hike to get too. Pretty cool as well.

Wow they are a lot pricey for the hot springs 😮 I’m cheap, I’m thinking about finding a free one 😂 some if the ones that are free and sometimes clothing optional 🤷🏼♂️ That wooden barrel hot spring is neat, we had a friend in Maine who had one just like that….just digging up memories. What a great boondocking spot, it’s nice but maybe….you could consider slowing down a bit 😂. How was the weather at the camp spot? I assume cooler at elevation with a 🔥 fire. ✌🏼

My family is originally from Western MD but moved to Baltimore. Hot springs in the heat, hopefully it felt cooler when you guys came out. PS, pinecones burn well too when dry and they make colored flames and pop a lot. Only use for outdoors though.
