I have the non-pickup, non-signature version of this Nohea ukulele, and I love it. Its tone and volume compare very well with the solid top, tenor ukes I own. In fact, I prefer it to my Mainland, solid mahogany tenor uke - an instrument that many seem to rave about. I think some of this may down to the Nohea's slightly deeper body. It feels great to play (great neck, action, etc.), keeps its tuning very well, and looks lovely (wood grain and abelone, etc). Great value for money. And, of course, the Fender Tele headstock and machine heads give it a really cool look.
Tim Chandler That's me playing. The reason I am playing such a simple chord progression is I want people to hear the true tone of the instrument without doing a bunch of fancy maneuvers. This was the order my bosses at MF gave to me otherwise I would have been playing more advanced fretboard work. Sorry man.

very good review, enough for an alert and educated ear. it is a shame to disappoint some uke geniuses out there
i thought tenor was lower than a concert ukelele, I was playing the same chords as u on ure tenor but i was on my concert and it sounded the same.
Does Muscians Friend setup ukuleles before shipping.
Geez that's the best you could play to show off this great ukulele?

Also it would help if you werent talking so loud lol
Also the clothes you're wearing is distracting and not very tropical at that
@@gretscher it wouldn't have to be anything fancy, just some simple finger picking so we can hear the intonation of individual notes.
I bought one off Facebook marketplace for $50:)
