Hey man, I’ve been considering this piece of kit so I’ve been going down the rabbit hole the last day or 2. I rarely leave comments on tutorial vids, but I wanted to say you’ve done a really fantastic job at showing the CS12 hardware and software off. Definitely the best I’ve seen here on UA-cam yet! Wanted to say thanks because all the other channels are just focusing on the typical surface level features, you may have been the one to have convinced me to bite the bullet. Thanks again, look forward to more videos on this if future updates come out etc. Cheers!
At the moment, the CS 12 uses smart controls in logic pro to manipulate synthesizer and instrument parameters. Nektar intends to hopefully add functionality that allows for deep integration as with audio processing plug-ins.
I had to write to Nektar assistance because nothing about the mapping part is working here. Strange but probably I need just to install everything from zero.
Yes, this is achieved using the Nektarine app or plugin. On the left side of its controls window, you can rename parameters. On the right side, you can rename pages.
I have no idea how to use Nektarine, I was trying to map some commands from logic...but can't even follow your mapping thing...any useful tutorials of how to use this Nektarine software???????

Cool videos, Maurice!
Thx. Wanted to keep it shorter than the deep dive.
Thanks for the helpful video. Do you have insights on how to use Nektarine with a deep instrument plugin like Battery 4?

Do this controller working also in cubase like in loggic?
With Nektarine app, it is possible to map functions like: "Create a new Track", "Delete", "Cut on Playhead", etc.??????
You can assign any key command to the marker buttons. But then they could not be used for markers. I just use key commands.
Thanks

Hi Maurice, how do you give a name to the knobs you assigned using the learn mode, or do you have to do this afterwards in the Nektarine software?

Hi Maurice, how did you get the CS12 layout in Nektarine? Not enough decoders and buttons in the Instrument Encoder template.
Worked it out. My input monitoring settings were off.
