Imagine hanging out with this guy for a day, a week, or even better, whenever you're free because you're best buds and making music together is just what you guys do when you've got time...
Ha! I bought Elka the first day it was available but have been too busy to use it. Finally, I was using it all last night for a new composition. I literally just closed my DAW moments ago, and your page came up on UA-cam! I was meant to subscribe here 🤷♂ Nice video✌
Enjoy going through his channel, its a treasure trove of great video demos of old and new synths. He also sometimes has the real synth and the virtual one side by side, and lets you hear how accurate the simulations are.
Once you get digital waveforms in an oscillator to vary in pitch, it then simply depends on how warm are the filters and snappy are the envelopes and how much the envelopes vary in time to achieve that vintage analog sound. In the end, it's really up to the sound designer to bring to life his or her imagination.
Interesting comment in the sense that it's not every day one reads a comment that actually teaches them something meaningful about their interest. In this case, I feel like I've learned a little more about sound design with synthesizers. Thanks!
The original had more a digital sound to it with analog filters than the contempories of the day , they had to include onboard chorus to mask the stale nature of the dco's which the proplayers at the time looked as cheating

@@EgoShredder Thanks, looking forward to it.
Elka And Dreamsynth are must haves from Cherry Audio. Sines is really good too

Loving the sound on this thing! Very warm :)
juuuuj! 🤩 These chord progressions are beautiful 🔥🔥💯❤️
Nice, it makes more sounds than I thought

I love this synth
Very nice presets. Cherry Audio should make a free version "preset player" with these sounds
@3:18 🤩
Jean Michel Jarre laserharp sound ^^
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
ELKA Synthex
asia live in nottingham
It really is a pity to have such interesting content and no english subs..
Yeah, he has very few videos with English subtitles. I guess he just doesn't care to take the time to do that sadly.
He hires a translator to do it
Learn Japanese, then you can understand these videos early :P
(I actually use this channel for practice!)
This thread might be solved by donating to a translation $$$. As far as I'm concerned his playing and tweaking are among Best In Class on YT.
Still would rather have the real deal hardware synth though.
Well, there are usually some available on Reverb.
@@MPHORROCKS Humans only need one kidney, right? 😂
Noticie that he isnt oversampling the plug-in
As soon as arpeggios are started, I turn off the video.
