Its incredible to see just how far the evolution of sports cars has come today. Just 30 years ago sports cars were just fast cars and not much attention was payed to aerodynamics. But today supercars have become just as sophisticated as a stealth fighter jet and just as much attention is payed to aerodynamics as in the design of a fighter jet. Making such sophisticated road cars would not be economically viable without the incredible wealth generated by the 21st century global economy which has allowed sports car manufacturers to greatly increase the cost of production of such cars and still be able to sell them at 7 figure prices. This car is awesome in every way but I have to say sorry, but the exhaust note of the naturally aspirated 458 still sounds crisper. Ferrari should have gone with hybrid electric technology and not turbo fans which muffle the exhaust, since a major signature of Ferrari is the exhaust note.
One thing Ferrari consistently get right are the rims. Simple and high class. Some of these other companies are just horrendous. Like lambos most their rims too thick.
Supercars extinct? Lol, there are as many supercars out there as there have ever been, supercar sales is at an all time high. And everyone who knows even a little about performance road cars know that there are literally hundreds of race tracks out there to unleash your supercars on.
Basically, due to the lack of inertia, if this engine did not have turbos the average driver would never go anywhere as they would stall the engine when setting off.
Turboes does not help when setting off normaly, and the inertia of the engine is still larger then any family Honda. The only reason you would stall this, would be because of a very grippy or very on/off clutch, but that should only be the case if it is not a automatic gearbox.

And yet.. if you opt to purchase the later hot revised ultimate version, your still screwed because they got an all new car that will out class that current model, just months away.
