Therefore you have captions Genius

That's what I'm talking about. Many non-Arab UA-camrs tend to overcomplicate the process. I love and appreciate how hummus is consistently crafted in its simplest and most authentic form by its original creators.
But i still would like to know how to make a good tahini sauce
@@danicob tahini is just sesame seeds rendered into a paste
@@ProfessorJones7 Oh really! Thanks for the answer. No salt and nothing?
@@danicob No, the salt is added to the dish itself, but not when making tahini.
Took the words right out of me😝

Can we talk about how he’s consistently suggesting different spices or ingredients and not suggesting this specific recipe is the best. A passionate cook is one who wants others to explore and find their own flavors and it feels like his goal is just to give others the tools to make their own creations. Beautiful Arabic, and beautiful food.
Hello! I'm Lebanese, and I can't help but say this is the best hummus recipe EVER! I sadly was never taught Arabic, as my family moved to the U.S when I was a year old and spoke English and french mostly due to my mom not knowing Arabic, but it's awesome how we can show our culture!
This is the first time I see hummus being made without a food processor. I love it and it’s beautiful.
ما شاء الله تبارك الله.. جربت نفس الطريقة وطلعت نتيجة مذهلة .. شكرا لك
هذه هي الطريقة الأصلية أخي
Lebanese food is so, so good and healthy for the most part, in Brazil we have quite a lot of immigrants from the Middle East and you can clearly see the difference in influence in each of these restaurants that has people from different countries, Kebab, Shawarma the hommus, etc.
I fell in love with middle eastern food and hope to travel one day to Lebanon in search of the perfect falafel
There is one restaurant in particular in Sao Paulo, the only guy that speaks Portuguese are the owner and the guys serving the food, but all of them are refugees and the owner only employs those in need after fleeing their country, you can clearly see how much passion these people put in making food and you liking it is the best prize for them, perhaps this is why it's so good. Best Shawarma in town
Cheers from Brazil!
I wish there were more Lebanese restuarants here in the UK.
I got food poisoning in Lebanon twice on trips there because of the electricity crisis

That olive oil poured out like a thick egg yolk... you can’t find that stuff in stores and it’s sooooo good for you!
probably more viscous from being stored in the refrigerator...it was also cloudy when first poured (another sign it was cold).
@@gigyoung1983 No it's not that. Olive oil in the middle east, mainly in the countries of Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan (At least that I know of) we keep our olive oil unfiltered. So, it comes out thick cloudy and yellow because of the high content of the olive fruit in it. In the rest of world. Olive oil is filtered, maybe twice or three times sometimes. They even bleach it. Why? Beats me. People who actually produce olive oil knows the clearer the older it is, the older it is, the less flavor you get. I laugh every time I hear a famous chef say "extra virgin olive oil" and it comes out so clear and so green (The extra green color is actually dye) they have no idea what extra virgin olive oil look like.
thanks for telling me this. I like to be edumacated.
@@privatesocialhandle yeah here in Sao Paulo a "respectable" brand of extra virgin olive oil (that means they don't mix canola oil with olive oil for cuttingg costs) is 20$ but it is almost flavorless. One day I went to the local market and saw Olive Oils that were no less than 80$, after trying a few of them I was in shock that that was the first time that I actually ate good olive oil, so mind bending
@@privatesocialhandleGreek here, olive oil is essential to our culture as well! Just wanted to add somr infp. Filtering is done to prevent oxidation of the olive oil and enhance its shelf life. Basically these olive particles you talk about will continue to ferment in the bottle even when you seal it. Unfiltered olive has a very limited shelf life so all these expensive bottles from Italy etv would not taste good when you open them after 3-6 months!
Unfiltered olive tastes amazing, but you need to buy it as fresh as possible. This is not always the case when you can't source it locally.

Hi❤
He basically first squeezes the 🍋lemon and put it's juice in a bowl with🧂 salt ( he said you can add garlic but he didn't this time ) than he mix the salt and lemon together added the🍛 hummus beans and kind of mix everything together with his technique ( you can see it in the video )
Finally added the tahina , mixed everything
Served it in a bowl and put some hummus beans on the top with some spices like summak... (you can add what you like) and that's it 🥣
Ps: the hummus beans have to be hot and well boiled. ❤
Enjooyyy!!🥰
