@@Yo111974 Yes! I love it! I've been using it a lot over the last couple months. I haven't had a single issue with it in Bias FX2. It's really durable and the switches feel great. I definitely recommend it to anyone using Bias Fx2. But, I still haven't gotten any expression pedals for it, so I can't speak for those. I'm thinking of getting one though. If I do, I'll get the MeloAudio branded ones, cuz I've heard people have trouble with the compatibility of other brands (although some apparently do work fine).
Because it is only available in standalone mode, in DAW, it is pain in the ass to get it working with midi device. Shame, because the sound is promising. Unfortunatelly i gave up after hours of trying to make it work with nektar pacer and ableton. Guitar Rig and Amplitube 5 does not have any of these issues.

At 5:10 you talk about the LED lights not always matching. If you use that same switch for another bank and switch it off, for example, when you return to your original bank which has the effect turned on, do the lights automatically sync again? If not, how can you keep your banks in the proper desired state for next use?

What's the latency like when you're switching between banks? From the video (3:15), it took about 1 second for the UI to update after switching to a bank, but does the audio have the same lag?
Can the ipad power the midi commander if connected directly to the ipad via USB hub? My audio interface doesnt have a midi input so I would connect both midi commander and audio interface to the ipad.

Hello Maru, I have a question - do you use an expression pedal along with the device? I'm asking because the expression pedal compatibility is such a sensitive issue, so I wanna be 100% sure that a particular exp. pedal will be recognised and will function well with the Midi Commander. I'm thinking of getting the Mission Engineering SP1, but would really like to know if they both "click" together. Otherwise, any recommendations from your side (backed up by an actual experience of seeing something work well)?
ok i'm lost. all im trying to do is assign my clean tone preset to bank 1 and my distortion to bank 2. What is the 0 selection in the bank drop menu in bias fx 2? I then try to assign something to bank 2 and it says something exists there and it will be skipped. Documentation from them is horrible

Hi, I'm using the same MIDI commander, but for some reason can't send PC messages, only CC messages. I have the Headrush MX5, which is not listed in the options menu in the Meloaudio menu when you go into setup mode, but shouldn't make a difference? It looks like only the A B C & D footswitches can send PC messages. Not sure where the issue is. Does the PC number have to be 1 number off, in order for the Headrush to receive it? Ex: if I want to send PC #25, I have to send 26 to the Headrush? IF you or anyone else knows, please let me know. Great playing, btw!
I guess I am an idiot, follwed your instructions. Powered it on holding the 2 buttons, didn't recognize I had bias fx 2 stand alone open. Can't get bias to sync with it at all. Also, does it not work when you use bias fx in ableton?
If you are a noob like myself, you must have an audio interface plugged in for the midi controller to work. I was trying to get the midi controller talking and changing without the interface hooked up and it wouldn’t change channels or anything. Even if you are USB with the Midi Captain.

n the midi commander, there is neither a guitar input nor a line output/xlr out except the only midi output jack... I do find out everybody is discussing it can work wid bis fx/kemper/axe fx etc but NONE explaining about the connections that where do I connect my guitar in or how do I get the signal out from midi out to mixer desk/pa system.....
Arkava Goswami I have my guitar going into my interface. So, guitar> Interface> Computer. The midi commander itself works with the computer software, in this case Bias FX. There is no guitar input on the Midi Controller. The Midi commander connects via USB to the computer and thats how it communicates with Bias FX.
IPAD USERS - if your controller isn’t working make sure bias FX was opened before you turned on the controller. Then make sure your midi channel is set to 1. Hope this helps
I saw this and bought it excitedly not realising it doesn't work with bias fx as a vst in a daw at least from what I can see. Wish that was made more obvious by people as now it has to go back

I'm using this with Neural DSP, and I'm noticing the latency big time. It's not like a typical foot pedal. Not sure if it's something I'm doing.

If you have a delay/reverb trail in a solo for example and then switch to a rhythm preset does the delay/reverb trail just cut?
can you load this effects into the midi commander and use them without it being plugged into the computer? like for live performances

HEY DOES THIS WORK TO CONTROL ANY VST PLUGIN SAY LIKE TURNING ON AND OFF A WAVES DELAY ECT
You can also use them all for turning off and on effects, there is a preset for that. You can customize it to.
