Proper good old fun. We’d watch this as kids, didn’t really get the jokes and humour but remember seeing loads of good acts like the Krankies and Canon and Ball on it and loads more, plus I remember Bill Hailey on it too. Now I’m watching them as an adult, and laughing my head off. 😂

Lovely memories. People have more money now, but not sure that has improved society. Too many today have money too easy, money which is not derived from honest endeavour, as were the only option to most back then. God only knows where we are heading.
@UXB-p5u I remember watching when it was originally aired, and I loved it. I got older and spent 30+ years as a professional entertainer. I worked with some amazing acts over those years, plenty were much better than the acts on here.
Well said mate shame the brainwashed deviants trying to force their twisted views opinions and ideology down all our throats....thankfully people are beginning to stand up to this moronic crap.
Brilliant entertainment this was plus a lot of auld faces that’s no longer with us but I’m sure they bring many a wee smile to there families that see them. Loved this show 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💚
Great stuff more entertaining and funny that all the woke DEI trash on now, when England was a friendlier more social and greater country with far less crime and drugs, that could still build ships and Concorde plane too, people had less money but more heart and happiness, not stuck on a phone every second toom and the bands were fantastic too.

Thanks for posting this ill watch it on actual new years eve 2024 itll be a million times better than whats actually on telly

RIP England.
And what was used to be called scotland [ sorry no longer deserves capitals]
Definitely not Cornwall.
Ain't that the truth. I want it back, power cuts, binmen's strike, The Troubles...it was still a miles better country than today.
Thankfully times long gone. Days of prejudice, hatred, misery for most.

Do you want to tell Mike harding he's dead
I was 7 when this was shown!
Will be watching this on New Years Eve
Me too I was 7 but still remember watching it.
I didn't know Bernard Mannings could sing so well👍
Me neither, it's very surprising.
I've seen him, he had a great voice, and one of our best ever comedians.
He would go around to Lenny Henry's house and offer to sing him a song 😃
@ Wow
@@tommyenglish-zap aye Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah lovely song as well
Fantastic tv, so glad my childhood occurred in the 70s great days when England was a proud wonderful place to live .

Mike Harding! Not seen him in bloody years! Great stuff!

All filmed in a studio at Granada Television in Manchester and produced by Johnnie Hamp who was Head Of Light Entertainment at Granada.

Who knew Bernard could sing? Not me!! A great slice of a scene and culture long lost - more’s the pity😢
The government has ruined this country, as a black man growing up in the 70s i never found shows like this offensive, it was harmless humour

Bring back the uk
You would never have comments as you do today .
Starmer wake up
Presume Bernard didn’t have any material clean enough to use.
FIFTY YEARS AGO!
This is what made punk happen
This is before the yellow bird he used to ride David Brent did it in the office FAF

Does anyone know what’s the name of the second Russ Conway music is?
I think it's called Toy Balloons.
