You can set the whole cell to be owned by that npc and so all the objects within it will be. If you right click -> edit the cell you want there's an ownership option somewhere and you can choose the npc from the dropdown menu

I'd like to thank you for your work on these series of tuts. they are easy and very comperhensive..youve done an outstanding job! everything I needed to know as far as scripting,dialog.patrol..its like you read my mind..lol if you are taking requests hows one on a radio station andor a radio that plays custom music? question: you know how to make a box come up..like the one that comes up when you set a wasteland slave free?.and it gives you the choice to free him or leave him to his fate?
Here's the problem I'm having. It says in the GECK tutorials that packages are re-evaluated every 10 seconds. I'm trying to give an NPC a package that makes them stand around drinking while waiting. But they keep taking the bottle out and putting it away, never finishing the animation. I think it's because the packages are being re-evaluated, and the animation is resetting. Is there a way to stop/control this?
okay i recently made a bar, in NV. So you know there is lots of beer, and other stuff around, on shelves and tables. And i need to know, if there is a smart, kinda easy way, to make all these objects, owned by the bartender. Now i know how to do it, like one at a time, but there is like, way over 100 different objects here. So if you know how, could you make a tut? Or at least just tell me how? Cuz i really need to know :) By the way, you tuts is great man!
Okay if you haven't done this, use a generic note in GECK, change ID, name, and clear whats on it, then format and type what you want, save it, the place in game by dragging and dropping. OR you can put in container
For those having trouble (your NPC does not move at all) if you're trying to put an NPC into a new cell, make sure you've added Navmesh into that new cell! If there is no navmesh, the NPC will do nothing but stand there. Here is a good tutorial on navmesh. ua-cam.com/video/RYJAj-63FR4/v-deo.html

my problem is the "patrol data" is greyed out. how do you fix that?

Is it possible to make a character run away and hide when the player gets too close?
Yeah, go to npc's stats, see the confidence, change to coward

Its an ai package called eat, you just tell the npc to drink a nuka cola.
how do you do a 3 man patrol so 3 brotherhoods following eachother to the x point
Create a patrol package for one of them and then give the other two follow packages with the guy with the patrol package as the target.
