I have a Miele C3 with a EDW 8303 board issue. When switch on just stay at lowest RPM. +/- switch can cycle the speed. Can do a video on the PCB diagnostic ? There is a IC 2275 553PM13 which I suspect is the proprietary Motor Driver.

I have an S 248i purchased new in 1988, still using, great machine. Trim is black not grey.

Bring it to your authorized dealer.
PCBs are changed as a whole assembly if that is the issue.
