- The mother of missing Briton Jay Slater has said donations will be used to support volunteers helping to find her son in Tenerife.
The 19-year-old, from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, disappeared after setting off to walk back to his accommodation on the holiday island on June 17.
The Sun’s foreign reporter Katie Davies joins Talk’s Kevin O’Sullian to discuss this further.

He's likely been shifting drugs for the guy who owned the rolex and jay has stolen it when they've been asleep and he's crashed there. They've probably woke up to make sure he's locked the door or something and noticed its gone. HOW they've dealt with that is anyones guess but it would explain why he was so scared walking back and why he chose to keep off the roads.
To be clear to steal or lose 12k of "rolex" in the pill sense would mean over 4800 pills have been involved which is very unlikely =]

Seems weird these two middle aged men would choose to rent an Airbnb so remote too doesn't it! Very suspicious! Were they drug barons and Jay one of their pushers? Why are they classified as not relevant to the investigation? Surely they are the last to have seen him so very relevant. What about the rumours that messages saying Jay owed a lot of money to someone, and reportedly his family withdrawing £32,000 from the go fund me for some reason! All very suspicious indeed.

I was convinced he was missing right at the start then the go fund me was set up that's when I got suspicious. Then the mother withdrew it and the family went to Spain with it that's when the hell no kicked in with me.

Like I said before, there has been a number of murders/deaths in this exact same area, men of a similar age and yet nobody is doing their homework. Its been happening for years and the Tenerife cops do the same thing over and over. Pretend they are doing something when in fact they are doing nothing. That's why they were sitting around in the sun caught not searching, then all of a sudden case closed. This is bigger than I can deal with but journalists are not going in the right direction.

This lad was beaten up when he was 12 by three men in a car. He was with two other lads. No mention anywhere as to who the other lads were and what happened to them... If that had happened to my lad I would want to know why. I would want to know where he was every minute of every day from then on. When the parents ,mentioned this i though Why? Thought it might be in justification for why he was part of a gang beating people up. As in poor him this was caused by things done to him. Whether it's the drug's or the watch implications I believe the two men who last saw jay are in deep they have either told jay come with them and will sort things out and convinced him he was safe to lure him into the seat car without any struggle. Now they have him poor jay was doomed. The two men now have the power. You can only speculate what happened in the airhub until the woman rang the bell where qassim has to move his car, jay saw the opportunity to get out fast with this the two men went to pursue jay and found him the two men likely struggled with jay and bungled into the boot of the seat likely knocking jay unconscious then took jay to another location on the island to kidnap him or something a lot worse. Then the two men departed Tenerife hoping to carry on without any involvement. My love goes to jay's family.

When you look at Jay's criminal record recently in England there's no evidence to prove that the telephone was almost out of power or that he did not have a second phone with him, he's friends was too quick to set up a fundraising account he asked the lady at the bus stop twice what time the next bus was to make sure she' recognised him, there is no evidence to prove that he was dehydrated I would keep an open mind and come to your own opinion

True tho, there is no evidence of anything.. nothing presented so far. Especially dehydration. A person doesn't dehydrate in a deadly way walking up a hill in 20 minutes .*roughly what it would have taken him to walk up to the view point. And when he was asking for the bus time from the very lady who owns the shop where there are tons of drinks inside..he didn't think of , i dunno, buy a bottle of water? He was in front of a SHOP selling water ! Could have gotten a snack too..a good Spanish bocadillo to fill his time before the bus arrives, just take it easy..he;s on HOLIDAY after all. He run off and they caught up, there was probably a fight and he has punched the man who forgot to pick the sunglasses up! The woman who saw him walking away has ruined any chance of forensic recovery as police didn't take the questioning any further knowing he left and wasn't killed at the AirBnB.

If this was a legally operated AirBnB then the owner would have to send to the police registration details of the guests. The details of the passport has to be written down on a form and then set to the police.Thus these men would not be a mystery to the Spanish police.
The press have caught up with one of them. He’s a Somalian who was done for pushing class A drugs in Wales 9 years ago.

This is what I think happened from all the facts we know so far. Jay stole a watch without a doubt, it wasn’t drugs. A man reported to police his watch was stolen and Jay also did a snapchat with the watch so that’s proven. Ok , the two older British Somali gangsters convince Jay to go with them. Jay thinks he’s tough but he’s just a 19 year old kid and they will be viewing him as prey although he probably thinks they respect him. As soon as they get back to the apartment, they tell him, mate you’re a long way from home, you’re giving us the watch and not getting a penny. At this point, he maybe says the wrong thing and is attacked, probably stabbed in the leg. This is where the cactus cut on his leg story comes from, it’s just a cover story to save face. Jay either runs away with the watch or more likely he’s handed it over and still runs away out of complete fear and shock. This proves fatal as he is in the mountains with no water and lost.

He may have stolen a watch and drugs from two different people . The watch to pay for the drugs . He was seen after leaving the the b&b. If correct he spoke to two friends once he had left the road. He clearly wasn't being held against his will prior to this or the woman from the b&b wouldn't have spoken to him and she certainly wouldn't have seen him going the opposite direction to where he was supposed to be going .
