The performance is all the greater as Brian Johnson is 62 years old and Angus Young 54 years old at the time of the concert at River Plates... They are incredible. Deep respect for the whole group
You are officially a head banger hombre!!!!!! 😍 AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson the lead singer was 63, Angus Young the lead guitarist was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎 😍
In their late 50's and still touring except lead guitarist, Malcolm who passed away. He was replaced by a nephew. Argentinian fans are known for their passion. Rumor had it this concert caused a slight earthquake.
Thanks for checking them out. The lead singer has been with them for about 40 years, he's the newest lead singer. They have been rocking for awhile, very well I might add lol.
I've seen ac dc in concert 5 times and I've seen them change his guitar couple times during the concert because he sweated so much he soaked the guitar and it was becoming dangerous for him it was insane.
As of 2022, Angus (dressed in a school uniform) is 67 years old. Yes, they are still performing. Angus wears the school uniform because when the band was formed, he was still in high school.
Yeah. Back then we didn't try to kill each other at the concert. No crushing people. No phones. Just enjoying the time and music. AC/DC fan for life. 80's baby's knows what's up
Ive seen them/AC-DC twice, in person.. up in BFLO..In a hocky arena (only 18k fans)..not a big stadium show like this.. But both shows were just like this..just totally awesome..Id dfinitely go again..I truly hope somday..that AC/DC is a Supr Bowl halftime show..That would B epic ! Theyd totally “rock da house”..
River Plate stadium is in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The maximum capacity is 100,000 people. There's no record I could find for this AC/DC concert but I'll wager it was at or close to that number!
Might have been considerably more, because the capacity of 100k is for sports events, where the pitch is used for the game. Here, the pitch, which is like 120x60 meters at least, is full of people, too.
They're still a band and released their last album just last year. They will tour once Covid allows......hopefully that is soon but don't hold your breath.
I enjoyed your reaction though you had the extraordinary knack of turning away or rubbing your eye and missed some of the most amazing crowd scenes from the 80,000 there, my friend :)
not just a new album in 2020, dedicated to the late Malcom Young (rhythm guitar player) and they have released 3 videos to support the album until they can tour again.
6:12 Not as much anymore. They are basically in their 70's. I seen Brian Johnson in an interview once and he said he can't hear that well. It is because of hearing damage. He said he was almost deaf. It's sad!
Ye they're pretty much retired now, one of them is suffering from dementia. This musically probably wouldn't even be one of their better performances because they're old AF even at this point, but everyone loves this performance because that Argentinian crowd is just amazing. edit he actually died of it.
Big crowd? This is just another saturday night for AC/DC! I was at the New Zealand leg of this tour, and this dvd gives a very false impression of how loud they are. We were driving up the motorway about 20 minutes away and could hear their soundcheck. 70k people in the crowd, and when the band were playing, you couldn't hear anything. Easily the loudest band I've ever seen.
Dude wtf are you talking i was there that night argentina aufience is like that check argentinian bands like indio solari last gig in 2017 were half million people, argentina is passion
Here in Argentina, we are very passionate!! soccer, music, food!!! etc❤❤
The performance is all the greater as Brian Johnson is 62 years old and Angus Young 54 years old at the time of the concert at River Plates...
They are incredible.
Deep respect for the whole group
The most amazing thing is, these guys are in their 50's and 60's in this concert..

ARGENTINA BEST CROWD EVER!!!
In their late 50's and still touring except lead guitarist, Malcolm who passed away. He was replaced by a nephew. Argentinian fans are known for their passion. Rumor had it this concert caused a slight earthquake.
Angus is still alive. It was his brother Malcom who unfortunately passed away from dementia in 2017.
@@Memo76ers ah yes, sorry. lol

Angus Young did a crowd In one of their concert, it was awesome. Crowd surfing and playing his guitar at the same time bloody wicked to see xxx
Yes, they still perform. New album came out not to long ago.

So great to see people new to this music enjoying it. Really great.

@@Gaius__ Good point! Let's make it 140K!
I saw something about 200 k for the 3 day shows
@@lonniebutterfield185 I guess only the promoters/ticket sellers would have an accurate number but who really cares, it's a freakin" lot of people!
@@lextek. that is very true and that crowd went crazy very cool
I’m watching this 2024 and they are touring Europe this summer!
They're still a band and released their last album just last year. They will tour once Covid allows......hopefully that is soon but don't hold your breath.
I know they just released an album but Malcolm the guitar player on the left passed away. He was Angus brother
tell your friends and family, there is nothing better than classic rock and roll.... nothing
I enjoyed your reaction though you had the extraordinary knack of turning away or rubbing your eye and missed some of the most amazing crowd scenes from the 80,000 there, my friend :)
Great reaction. I would suggest reacting to some of their songs from Live at Donington 1991.
Hyped! Thanks for the reaction!
He sweats with no shirt and shorts on and so would all of us working that hard.
the greatest band in the world....
Argentina papa 🇦🇷💪🏻🤙🏻
🎸💯 🤯 AC⚡DC‼🐐🔥🤟
(Angus is rockin that school boy uniform!)
There were very few fights at these concerts. We were all there for the same reason,k to rock n' roll all night!
Yes they are still performing believe that they are on tour now or just finished a tour
not just a new album in 2020, dedicated to the late Malcom Young (rhythm guitar player) and they have released 3 videos to support the album until they can tour again.
The fans argentine the best of the world!!!!!
Metallic "Enter Sandman" Moscow 1.6 million people! Check it out
the biggest crowd at a ac/dc concert was 1.6 million people
But that was a festival with other bands not only ac dc
They’re getting ready for their 50th anniversary tour- minus rhythm guitarist and songwriter, Malcolm Young who recently passed. 😢
Highway to hell, Live at River Plate
that time was when the band were still in shape, but today right now this band isn´t exit anymore, for me ac/dc it´s already finished
I think you have joined us in the Headbangers club!

Fun fact …They got their name from their sisters sewing machine ..alternating current..direct current..
They were meant to be seen live!
🤘😎🔥❤️ welcome to the party….fun right? Oh yeah.🔥

Hahah, go to sleep clown
If you want to listen to one of their slow songs listen to " ride on" also for a laugh listen to " big balls"
