A walk through John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) at Terminal 5 (JetBlue Terminal). It's a really large terminal, and there are many shops post-security.

Sometimes it´s not necessary to travel to the US, watching your videos is good enough, although travelling is a good experience. Your videos show where to go to those interesting places. A video showing how to use the NY metro will be useful as well.

I love my NYC💯💗 in the 70s and 80s this airport was a real treat to visit. We could sit there all day watching the planes and people. Traveling was the biggest treat. My how things have changed for the worst.

Thank you for your vids! I love this airport and this terminal especially, I have been quite a few places but I still fondly remember flying to NY in 1993 when i was 7 yrs old and have never lost the sense of Joy of being at the airport. I still prefer to travel to NY via JETBLUE when I can, but I have not flown anywhere since 2019 when the world still made sense, content like this helps me fill a void in my life when i cannot travel and miss it. FYI i'm from Barbados.

2006, just before boarding a plane i remember seeing through a terminal window ,way off in the distance a tiny Empire State Building illuminated in Green for St Patrick's Day. My last view of NYC.

Many years ago, in order to save money, I flew Air India to Dublin. Air India was in a quonset-hut sort of waiting room remote from the rest of the JFK terminal. The flight was scheduled to leave at 10:30 p.m., and about half the boarding passengers were old priests bound for their homeland. Even in the middle of the night, the plane stood in the takeoff queue so long that the in-flight meal was served before we lifted off.
Finally! I am booked a flight an get ready to TSA Checkpoint to checked luggage an boarding pass an ready to catch the flight down to California very soon.
I love this airport so much I loved going to it and seeing the airplanes flying away from it it was a very nice airport. It's sad I had to move away and I'll probably never ever see it again in person so thank you for bringing back memories(:

Airports give me an exciting feeling of going on vacation which I love and think about all the time, it is so great that the person who makes these videos is so great the he posts these videos on UA-cam for us to watch everyday
I never saw any of this when I went to apply at Jet Blue but yes my instructions were to go to terminal five. See those people on the right those are wheel chair assist agents, which was one of the things that was discussed when I was there. At the time I think they said they were re vamping or expanding Jet Blues terminal. I made it to an office, a training room and then I had to go to Port authority for my I.D. picture. It was a month long process. I had to pay for My port authority check and I.D. process and before that they sent me for drug testing. Got a blue jacket, a bow tie (air stewardess style) and a hang around the neck I.D. I didn't qualify for one of the jobs b/c I didn't drive. My snafu came when we got to scheduling they seemed confused. We didn't know who was in charge, one person said one thing, then another person said something contradictory. It made me fearful to work for them. I also perceived a high turn over for employees. Thanks AK you are very brave. I once wanted to go to the airport,any airport b/c I had never been, my mother said this is not a wise idea in the times we live in. Thanks for showing me something I never saw when I was there.💖

John Ocana T5 is the old TWA terminal, it’s now run by JetBlue.
@@senormenace They just opened the old TWA terminal as a hotel. The "terminal" portion is the lobby and was restored to look like it did when operational. I visited in June shortly after it opened and had some drinks in the Constellation. Brought back memories from when I used to transit the terminal in the 70's and 80's when it was operational.

So many stares make me so uncomfortable but I really enjoy walking through an airport.
They turned la famiglia into an artichoke stand? That was my favorite pizza place in NYC as a kid and it was always a treat before a flight

The bounce has always been there. Current generation gimbals don’t handle vertical z axis bounce that well. Hopefully something better comes out in the future!
