Raw eggs are commonly eaten in Japan.
This is because there are established methods for killing Salmonella.
The probability of being contaminated with bacteria is about 0.0029%.

Several very rare and strange cases were shown in the video that I had never seen before as a Japanese.
    >I have never seen or heard of a carp swimming in a drainage ditch, as far as I know.
As you mentioned in the video, ornamental carp are also very expensive in Japan. It is a hobby for the rich.
Though Koi(=carp) for food is not expensive, I don't think they would be in the drainage ditch even if they were. They should be raised on a properly sanitized aquaculture farm. Anyway, that image is a mystery.
    >Square watermelons were made for special events or as expensive gifts and are by no means common. Of course, they don't sell in regular supermarkets.
    >Footbath trains, of course, are not standard and probably run only in limited numbers in some tourist areas. I have never seen these either.
    >The corrugated handrail on the staircase introduced at the end must also be somewhere, but I have never seen it.
    >And I think the scene you guys said you didn't get a meaning was the introduction of how Japanese people put stickers of answers to questions in a very orderly way compared to foreigners.
