I agree: San Telmo is a gem of a neighbourhood and my favourite place for sitting and reading is Parque Lezama; it is very stately and elegant. It is an easy walk to Centro and Plaza de Mayo and Av. Florida. Mercado San Telmo is always busy and fun. On my most recent visit, I stayed in Montserrat, one block to Antiguo Puerto Madero with so many restaurants and cafes along the Diques. On the other side is the new and splashy Puerto Madero with many green spaces. BA is a city where I walk and walk and admire the beautiful architecture. Can't wait to return soon.

Great video. Recently I spent 15 days in BA and fell in love with city. I stsyed at 75 Hotel Continental which has long stay rates. It’s a very nice hotel with really great rates. It is not too far from the main attractions by taxi which is not expensive.

excellent job on the video. Had an amazing time last January and considering seriously about coming back and exploring new areas of your amazing country. Excellent food/wine/culture and for me the best part is nature. Keep up the good work

I totally gree with you. San Telmo is the best neighborhood to stay in Buenos Aires. It has the best vibe and it's the closest to most of the tourist attractions. The historical district, Puerto Madero, La Boca, Florida street, Obelisco, Teatro Colón, all are walking distance from San Telmo. And it might be the best tourist attraction in itself.

I´m planning to stay at Avenida Corrientes, is it safe to walk around at night to have dinner in that area? I heard it is a very busy street, even at night...

It's a very popular street with many theaters and restaurants, as all touristc areas, there can be pickpockets, so be careful, look out for your cell&wallet.
It's much nicer the Recoleta area and it's walking distance, but if you're careful Corrientes it's fine, I actually live there

It is safe. I stayed in Recoleta for two weeks. Walking at night by myself. No problem. Good restaurants and coffee shops. Palermo is same area, great neighborhood as well. I used to stay around the Botanical Garden. Buses are great and frequent.

You will find menùes in Spanish and English. Young people can communicate in English. We take English in high school and also French. April is a good month. I live in Alaska, last night I bought tickets to go back in August, flying to Asunción del Paraguay for a few days visit and later a van to Corrientes, a city that I love! As well as Resistencia, Chaco, city of sculptures. Two months traveling and last two weeks in fabulous Buenos Aires, city of domes, (Cupulas) you have to walk looking up.

If I could I would live in Recoleta/Palermo (not SOHO) or Belgrano, Villa Urquiza it´s very noce as well, it's well connected by subway and it's a non touristic neighbourghood with shops and great places to have coffee and eat. Belgrano R is nice too.

Palermo is much nicer North of Santa Fe avenue, Palermo Soho and Hollywood are very touristic and noisy I guess.

Actually main atractions are mainly on the east side and from Palermo to the west, with some exceptions, it's mainly residential areas, not very turistic.
