What this video did was show how much work was put into this car and when you have to fabricate your parts that very time consuming you did a great job and should be proud of your work
All the best gents - you deserve a safe, happy and healthy holiday season with friends and family. I am so looking forward to seeing the pickup of your exciting project in the New Year and in the meantime, stay warm! Pete
Wonderful to watch, lived for 40 years down the road from Canley Coventry where your GT6 was made and remember clearly the factory closing. Great to see this car (along with the Spitty - a personal favourite) get restomodded and then some.
Merry Christmas! 🎄🎉 Hope you'll enjoy this special episode showing just how far we've come since episode 18! All the best for the year ahead, and huge thanks as always to our amazing Patreons who help make this project possible! www.patreon.com/FanatikBuilds
❤❤❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍 And the greatest accomplishment of it all is that you were able to do this with your father, working in concert and created a masterpiece !!
You 2 have really raised your game not just regarding the engineering design and fabrication work, but with the quality and professionalism of you videos. I really like compilations and actually I thought the music suited this one perfectly and created a kind of contented trance in me as I watched, please continue with these compilations as I think you have plenty of material to make more. Happy Christmas to you and all subscribers and let us all hope for a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year🎅🎅
You constantly give new parameters of what is hobby and what is engineering . Your skills achieve excellence well beyond the scope of most , but you do it in such a way that no one would dare to take exception to ! You have been the perfect pupil , and your father has been the perfect tutor ......the perfect partnership !! So looking forward to the continuing story . .......Have a great and productive Christmas.......well , we can wait until after Christmas ....😍
Ha Ha , you used one of the same songs as I used in one of my video's, good taste. Enjoying the build immensely , I like a hands on build everything myself approach instead of just throwing cash at new products and fitting them. Keep it up.
Merry Christmas, thank you guys for allowing us in on such a great project. It gives me hope for my 76 Spit will get it's floor pans one day. lol Be well.
One of the best series around! The overall idea is very well thought out, well designed, as well as beautifully crafted. It has really taken some time to get where you are, but look at it! You´re doing great! Keep it up..
Merry Christmas! A diffuser, of some type, may help balance out the rear, in proportion to the front grill. Either way, getting the project driving will bring the most smiles. Appearance and symmetry need not be stumbling blocks.
Well, this video has so much packed into it I just going to have to enjoy watching it over and again. The engineering, symmetry, attention to detail, and problem solving are commendable. Besides a great journey together with your Dad, this looks like a key to your future. Merry Christmas 🎄
Happiest of Holidays to you guys! This is just such a great project, and you have done such an awesome job. Just amazing the level of quality that you can get with just basic tools and a shed. Inspiring work. I think you've managed to raise the bar for the BOM crew.
Merry Christmas and here's to 2023 Brian - really appreciate all your support and encouragement, and it's really humbling to have people think so highly of our little project. ☺️ All the best to you and yours good sir!
I've just looked back through your channel and I first watched you when you built the Land Rover RC replica for a guy in England which was a copy of his full size one. I can't believe that was 9 years ago and I think but I'm not sure that the channel was called something else then. Congratulations on another successful year on youtube and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family's. 😃👍
Wow that is definitely going back a way! 😄 Thanks for all the encouragement and support over the years Steve, it means a great deal and I truly hope you and your family also have a wonderful Christmas and New Year ahead - all the best buddy! 🎄
Great video 👍 I think it's such a great build as well as a great video of the build yet to be appreciated by a bigger audience. Have a great holidays and look forward to the next stage in the build.
Merry Christmas! You've done it! Fanatik, it goes without saying, the GT is a tasty piece of work, but my envy is for that father, whose "third hand" has so often been a part of this journey. A father who probably listened through many theory discussions and let you prove him right. But look at the product- to build a great car, you have to build great parts; you've done that. To build a great car is a snap if you spend crazy bucks; you haven't done that- instead you and your dad have crafted those parts and solutions and made this car so much more yours than any CC monster hp wagon out there. Soon, we will see you drive it- I hope your passion is up to what this car could well do! I just want to be the eye in that cam to the right of you! FR
Merry Christmas, Michael & Dad! 🎅 This compilation really reminds me of how far you've come. I shall be sending it, and the previous compilation, to my friends as an excellent watch while they are slumped on the sofa digesting their turkey 😄 I still think my two favourite episodes are the Starter Motor and the Bonnet/Hood Hinges and supports - they both just brought out your admirable, innovative problem-solving skills... Don't get carried away and painting it a weird colour in the new year! 😁 Mike😎
Thanks man! It was really fun seeing all this progress in one go for sure, sometimes it can be all too easy to get caught up in the small stuff and miss out on the big picture! All the best to you and yours this Christmas and New Years! 🎄🎉
Have a great Christmas guys! Great recap - it's easy to forget just how much work and consideration has gone into the build. Looking forward to the next progress update.
Great video! It really highlights the amount of custom engineering that has gone into this build... so far. Can't wait to see what you do with the interior. I hope you & yours have a great Christmas... try not to freeze! Happy New Year! When this is done, I hope this gets some good exposure on other YT channels... Jay, are you listening?
So cool to see how far it's come over the years! I remember you talking about this car and to see how clean and amazing of a build it is, can't tell you enough how impressive this beauty is.
So many good decisions and thoughtful engineering decisions. I came here for the engineering and stayed for the beauty of it all. Obviously this can never be sold or driven in salt. You will have this as a memory of quality time well spent with your father and bonding time. So elegant and such a huge standard of developmental engineering from a single car garage. Much respect for top tier creation.
And I really appreciate your effort as well. Canadians are a tough bunch and I hear that they never give up on anything. Glad I didn’t have you here when I was able to do my wrenching. I believe I would have walked in you garage, looked around and then left to go look for my “man” card. Turns out I wasn’t as competent as I convinced myself.
Such fantastic work. Its very cool you get to build the car and great memories with your Dad. It almost there. I've been very impressed with your problem solving skills during this project. It will be such a fun car. Wishing you and your family a Wonderful Christmas 🎄 🎅
Nice to see this compilation... you guys do top notch work. I'm surprised Motor Trend or Car and Driver... or maybe a Canadian magazine hasn't picked you up yet. Happy Holidays to you... can't wait for the next installment... not to mention the rest of the build. BTW I did go watch every video on Home Built by Jeff... It's pretty good... but you guys are ten times better.
Merry Christmas! Great compilation video! It's a good reminder of all of the amazingly clever solutions you've engineered into that awesome car! Seriously, your build is easily as clever as Project Binky, and I don't say that lightly. Kudos to you and your father! I'm looking forward to seeing how your GT6 progresses.
i saw the short about the reversed intake. don't know what you have planned for the fire wall, but the reversed intake would also solve the water ingestion issue with the woolly mammoth intake. too bad you can't do that. simple and neat. the rear spoiler is nice, but could use an extra three inches. aesthetically a larger rear spoiler transmits the look of pure bad ass power...don't mess with me kind of thing. more down force too. check those A C cobra racer rear spoilers. the rear view mirrors need to be up dated. too small and in my opinion old fashion. would some pontiac grand prix 04-08 mirrors fit? just more work for you and your dad. if the jaguar E type is an iconic shape then so is the triumph gt 6 mark lll. for your next project. GT 6 electric... 0 to 60 in 2.8 sec
Merry Christmas and of course, the very Best New Year for you guys. Can't wait to see this get rolling in the new year. You guys must be excited about getting there too. Hope everyone's doing well!
I've been loving this build from the start (been here since the RC stuff). It's truly amazing the quality and amount of truly custom fabrication you guys are accomplishing in such a small space with the equipment you have available. Keep up the killer work! It baffles my mind that you don't have more subscribers. Happy Holidays to you and looking forward to following the build in the new year!!
Hello, fun video, i do like the idea of a nice deep Burgundy colour for the car but whatever you chose I'm sure it will be a lot of fun to drive, if maybe a bit of a handfull.
This compilation video really shows the incredible amount of work you guys have put in to this project!!! It’s not just a car, it’s a well engineered work of art!!! Looking forward to seeing more!!!
Canada’s Binky! Great to see a recap of all the great work over the past year. This car is a great project and really enjoyable to follow. Looking forward to all the progress in the new year.
Thinking about the colour I think metallic red would really suit it. Roger do a lovely colour called nightfire red. And it is the same company, well sort of.
Just catching up - I htink I have seen all of these build videos - the last couple deserve a few comments ( and yes I know I am late to the party!) Colors: love the deep blue and the mod BRG but no blackout on the rims. The front spoiler is the bomb!!!!!! Loved it all. The intake made me jealous of your TIG skills (believe it or not!) as I have NONE. You 2 keep on with the project - IMHO it is going great so far!!!
One of the best UA-cam builds right now! Merry Christmas to your entire crew 🎅🎄🎁 P.S. Craig Breedlove built the Spirit of America land speed record machine in his 1 car garage

Can't Wait to see it on the the road dammit! (just finishing better driver upgrades on my SBC MGB-seats, carpet, heat shielding, rear gears (3.08), new front spoiler/valance, exhaust, some other little stuff)
Great to see some of the amazing things you have achieved and the skills you have learned 😁👍 Merry Christmas bud to you and your Dad and a Happy and Healthy New Year 😁😁🤘🤘🤘🤘
