Before you complain this isn’t a “real” Bronco, remember that not everyone wants the big full-size Bronco with removable everything and a much higher price tag. Think of this as a far more capable, better-looking alternative to boring bland crossovers and you’ll have a better perspective on it.

Ford's had that 'new' gear selector since at least 2017 (our 2017 Fusion had one); Jaguar started using it with the 2007 XF.
The design of the Bronco Sport seems to owe a lot to Land Rover; the clamshell hood and the bump up in the roof, which is a signature design cue for the Land Rover Discovery. I like Land Rover's designs, so I like this.

I bought one a few weeks back. I have an Outer Banks edition. The looks I get in it is crazy. There’s not many on the road and due to the semiconductor shortage, it may be a rare sight for a short while. It’s gives you a big truck feel in a small frame. Nice equipment. The 3 cylinder turbocharge does have enough power but it does make a funny sound at lower speeds. My wish is that tailgate had a two finger handle near latch buttons, cupholder LEDs remain lit (only displays when you turn on vehicle. No USB outlet in rear seat. I agree that the steering wheel material could be better and the center storage needs an LED in it.
