It's not that at all. It's more like their jealousy that speaks, lookin down at our women but not about the language. But English is needed in this day and age. It's a common language. If you're Polish and you go to Germany, Russia, Thailand or Philippines, you can at least in a way communicate better speakin English instead if Polish language... Unless you can speak and understand the language of that foreign country you go to. So yeah English is not somethin that makes one intelligent but somethin that makes one communicate in a foreign country better.

My parents, my sister and I were born in the State of Georgia and our brother in New Jersey. When we moved back to Georgia I was teased because I didn't have a Southern accent and "spoke proper grammar." We also had to read the dictionary or encyclopedia when we didn't have homework. In the Army some of my fellow Black soldiers said that I wasn't Black enough because I didn't hang around with them and smoke weed and got drunk, rowdy on the weekends. A lot of people say I sound White over the phone and are surprised when I walk in and start speaking after I've spoken with them on phone. I met my wife in the Dominican Republic. Truthfully, I wasn't looking for anyone. I was a chef in one of many restaurants in the resorts in Punta Cana . I met my future wife a year later , got married, and had 2 kids. An interesting fact is I work, she raises our children, and she is a full-time mom. Never complain about anything, always willing to have a conversation about any situation we find ourselves in and is very attentive to our children. Being able to speak a language really well (or second language) has more to do with being intelligent than "educated". My wife can speak 5 languages and has a Master's degree (and graduated in the top of all her classes). You don't often find highly articulate people who are high school dropouts and too dumb to hold a decent job.
My Filipina wife speaks 3 languages, graduated college, and worked as a nurse for years. 😂 so lucky I met her! She treats me better then anyone else ever has, even gave me the confidence to go for the job I really wanted, and I got it! She's teaching me Spanish and I'm teaching her English. My English teaching helped her pass the nationalization test and she's a full citizen. She's the best woman I've ever known. No woman can take her place. I was loyal to my ex-wife. I gave her everything and never verbally or physically abused her. She cheated on me during my deployment to Iraq. She was my highschool sweetheart and the only woman I've shared myself with. I was so devastated that I chose to be single. 10 years later I found the love of my life. She's Latino and traditional and rich in her culture. I've embraced her culture and our language barrier without bias. She's teaching me Spanish and I'm teaching her English. I found my wife in Ecuador and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m more than happy. In 10 years of marriage I’ve never had to worry about the house been messy or cooking and I’ve never gotten home from work to see her like she just woke up. It's not that at all. It's more like their jealousy that speaks, lookin down at our women but not about the language. But English is needed in this day and age. It's a common language. It's easier for people who knows a lil English when they travel. If you're Polish and you go to Germany, Russia, Thailand or Philippines, you can at least in a way communicate better speakin English instead if Polish language... Unless you can speak and understand the language of that foreign country you go to. So yeah English is not somethin that makes one intelligent but somethin that makes one communicate in a foreign country better.

I met my wife in the Dominican Republic. Truthfully, I wasn't looking for anyone. I was a chef in one of many restaurants in the resorts in Punta Cana . I met my future wife a year later , got married, and had 2 kids.
An interesting fact is I work, she raises our children, and she is a full-time mom. Never complain about anything, always willing to have a conversation about any situation we find ourselves in and is very attentive to our children.
If any American men get a wife outside the US, I don't blame them . Look what's going on in our country, lack of ethics and morals.

My son's Phillipina wife is University educated and speaks/writes English beautifully! Very racist presuming these women are uneducated.
I’m Filipina and my husband is Czech. Before my husband’s family met me, they were quite skeptical of me. Until they learned i speak English like a native speaker, learned basic Czech for my husband’s family, graduated at one of the top universities in my country, and worked in marketing before I met him!
It's really less racist than just their typical deflection and avoidance of responsibility for a situation they created. So many thought that, if this is the way most of us are, they will be forced to accept it. I was loyal to my ex-wife. I gave her everything and never verbally or physically abused her. She cheated on me during my deployment to Iraq. She was my highschool sweetheart and the only woman I've shared myself with. I was so devastated that I chose to be single. 10 years later I found the love of my life. She's Latino and traditional and rich in her culture. I've embraced her culture and our language barrier without bias. She's teaching me Spanish and I'm teaching her English. She is very good to me and me to her. Sometimes true love comes from afar but you have to be willing to stop generalizing and approach new experiences with and unbiased approach.
