*RECIPE* INGREDIENTS: (4-6 sandwiches) 1 lb/450g chicken breast Bread (any kind) 4 tbsp Butter (preferably unsalted) 4 garlic cloves Optional: cheese and pickles -- sauce -- 4 tbsp bbq sauce 3 tbsp ketchup 1/2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp vinegar 1 tsp hot sauce 1/2 cup water METHOD: 1. Slice chicken breast into even thin filets 2. Heat 1-2 tbsp butter in a pan and pan fry the chicken until cooked through (about 2 minutes per side). Be careful to not overcook the chicken or it will turn chewy 3. Take the chicken off the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes. This will help the chicken juices redistribute and keep it moist 4. To the same pan add 2 tbsp butter and fry minced garlic until fragrant. Optional - add some chilli flakes for a kick of spice 5. Pour in the prepared sauce and simmer until it’s thick. Taste and adjust seasoning as per preference here 6. Once the chicken had rested, shred it or finely chop it 7. Once the sauce has thickened and seasoned to your liking, add the chicken and mix well 8. Toast one side of the bread/bun with some butter. Layer the chicken filling over the toasted side. Additionally add some pickles/pickled jalapeños, cheese and enjoy! _______________________________________ SUBSTITUTES: • No vinegar? Use lemon juice instead • No hot sauce? Use 1/2 tsp chilli flakes or chilli powder • No soy sauce? Add salt as needed at the end _______________________________________ TIPS: • Use unsalted butter as the sauces have a lot of salt • The bbq chicken filling works with wraps as well • Your sauce might be a different brand and so the quantities might need to be different. Taste and adjust to your liking
BEAUTIFUL! A great lunch recipe. This would work equally well with warmed pitta bread with rocket and garlic mayonnaise. And the compulsory cold beer (if you don't have to go back to work). Thanks for uploading. You're the best! xx
I like how you added cheese, if jalepeños are too picante (spicy) replace with pickles or banana peppers, the contrast is nice...if you've ran a marathon or...try a dill pickle dipped in Gatorade instant mix to replace the electrolytes and deter cramping (charlie horse) -Da [C]hemistry-cook
Honestly the best chicken sandwich recipe I've seen on UA-cam! Pickled jalapenos and cheese - yum-mazing! Where do you find such seemingly western ingredients - I have a hard time finding even simple things like brioche buns.
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it ❤️ ohh where do you live? I live in Bangalore so I find ingredients easily. Most of the condiments and pantry items I use are available on Amazon too. Cheeses/breads/produce are available in some supermarkets and on gourmet stores online.

Hi Burger Queen , send me that pls
Also if you like very mild spice levels, I find chopped red onions to add slight zest which is also perfect for this kind of sandwich

Any recommendations for good brand of barbecue sauce in India?
I haven’t tried out too many.. I used American garden original bbq sauce in this and it worked well.
Awesome. Where are you based?
Thank you! Bengaluru.

请问可以加中文字幕吗?我很多朋友都喜欢你的频道。但是他们都不会英文。
