At 0:38 when the harp starts, I just feel it. It strikes me, without fail. Tears fill my eyes when you have this tiny, sorrowful moment to reflect on what has happened, and the people that had to be left behind, and everything that Giorno has achieved - but not alone. Not anymore. He's not the same kid that started this journey, and he never again will be. Now Giorno is his own person, with everything he has learned, nurtured and cared for, due to the bonds he has formed with these wronged yet kind people, and he's ready to do what needs to be done.

Everyone in here is still talking about 1:41, seemingly COMPLETELY forgetting about 2:25, the amazing callback to the song “Return of Travelers” from the Stardust Crusaders soundtrack, which you may also remember playing after Joseph and Jotaro left Morioh at the end of Part 4. At first, when it played Il Vento D’oro, I was a bit upset that they seemingly abandoned the tradition of using that song at the end of the parts, but when those last few seconds came in, I just had the biggest wave of emotions. Hope they use that theme again in Part 6, it’s a great one
Well that little tune at the end is meant for an accomplishment, or a good or bittersweet endings. In Part 3, although it came with the deaths of half of the crew, the Joestars finally stood victorious against DIO, and Holy was saved. In Part 4, the Morioh warriors avenged Reimi and all of Kira’s victims, so there's a sense of accomplishment there. Part 5, is pretty brutal, as only two members of the original gang are left standing, however, Giorno accomplished his dream. They all have a sense of satisfaction with their endings, and Part 6 is just.. there’s not much to be happy about. Nearly the entire main cast dies, with only one survivor, and the villain actually wins. I agree this soundtrack is great but I personally don’t see it fitting with Part 6's adaptation.
@@00svibes24 reread the ending. pucci absolutely does NOT "win", he gets the closest out of any of the villains but he is stopped at the very end. jolyne took a gamble by trusting emporio to kill pucci before made in heaven completed a cycle of the universe, and he does (she couldn't do this herself because pucci is able to sense the joestars and therefore she doesn't have the element of surprise like emporio.) emporio lost everyrhing, but he undid pucci's universe and that counts as an absolute victory, even at such a high cost. the people that replaced emporio's friends are different souls, but they end up leading way better lives than emporio's crew did. part 6 has a very bittersweet ending, but the sweet is absolutely there.

From a protagonist standpoint, Dio outmatched Jonathan and thus he died. Granted, Erina did survive and that continued the Joestar lineage, but the main hero died. Same with Jolyne. While Emporio did undo Pucci’s universe, the main hero, or JoJo died in that process. It took a life (or in Stone Ocean’s case, many lives) as a sacrifice to ultimately defeat the villain.
David productions did AMAZING ON THIS ADAPTATION. I may be late to say this, but the amount of effort.. the countless scenes.. everything. It feels like a masterpiece, it feels majestic. I have NEVER seen an anime adaptation hit this hard ever before.. I am so overwhelmed by the effort they put into the anime. This TRULY brings me to tears.
