I misspoke at 3:38 and completely glossed over it, I meant to say Large TOWN level. Star Platinum has plenty of impressive feats beyond Large Building level lol. Doesn’t greatly change my point in that part of the vid, but still worth noting.
Also, I should’ve gone more in-depth with Kars and his adaptability like in my JJK villains vs JJBA video, but we’ll rectify that in a future video (won’t say what it is yet). 🤫

@@Sukunover It’s a joke about how when jotaro says that he has the same stand, he ends up having the exact same abilities as his opponent. So in this case, Jotaro would have all Gojo’s abilities. It’s not a real thing and is more of just an inside joke.
I like the thought of Gojo standing there, expecting Tusk4 to stop at Limitless, but then Tusk4 just keeps moving toward him, slowly.

@@Junjixyz not really since D4C: Love Train as said in the video redirects all attacks (except Tuskact4) to random areas in time. So Domain Expansions would most likely just get teleported into idk JFK assassination.
I don't know how Johnny could survive attacks from Gojo, but Tuskact4 ignores all barriers including Love Train, so theoretically, it also bypasses Infinity, it all boils down to how fast tusk can reach Gojo.
Calamity can not be destroyed, it is a rule of the universe, thus Wonder of U survive by default. Not that Toru won't die, but WoU exist beyond him, so Gojo probably die in like 100 years. Maybe resetting his brain extends his lifespan.
Gappy's Go Beyond changes the laws of the world, an attack that won't exist until it hits it. Cream, The Hand, and Tusk Act 4 are the ones that can bypass Gojo's Infinity.
Basically, the main question for most of these is "Can they get past Infinity?"
Which makes me wonder about someone not brought up here: Could Okuyasu bypass Infinity? It's implied The Hand is actually way more dangerous than it seems, just because Okuyasu himself isn't the brightest bulb.
I do also appreciate the running gag of just assuming people know how King Crimson works.
Yes, it is shown multiple times that okuyasu can erase space itself.
The Hand is a PERFECT counter for infinity, but I could still seeing Gojo winning that battle unless Okuyasu plays it really smart (which is unlikely 🗿)
@@TheSaladBar Yeah there would definitely need to be two different scenarios for that: In-Character vs Out-of-Character. In-Character, yeah, Okuyasu is cooked unless Gojo does something to REALLY make him mad. Out of character, he's getting erased.

I thought of the same thing you said for Valentine. I just pictured two Gojo's pulled towards each other and whether or not their infinities would cancel each other out, or would endlessly repel them both from each other over and over, essentially trapping him in a never ending loop until he dies of something like old age or starvation.

I'm pretty sure that time stop works 100% against Infinity because being able to move during 0 time fucks up physics enough that the manipulation of space might occur at a level below what Jotaro or Dio would be interacting with. To clarify, objects lose all inertia within stopped time, and Gojo's infinity seems to operate on this principle against Hanami (this might just be the writer deciding to expand the scope of the cursed technique rather than the natural application of Infinity though). It's akin to asking whether or not The Hand would work in Zero Time.
Infinity is basically just a infinite space between gojo and the outside world, things dont lose intertia from infinity they just look to get slower and they get closer and closer to said infinity, gojo crushed hanami by forcing her to stop moving and get crushed from the force of infinity against the subway wall

One thing to think about is Gojo’s infinity doesn’t block seemingly harmless objects like erasers. If Kira tossed a 500yen coin at Gojo and Gojo caught it, it may be possible for part of the explosion to slip through infinity. Then again, instant automatic activation as soon as the explosion starts could be enough to stop it in its tracks.
No, Gojo can selectively choose if objects should pass in his infinity or not. Usually though, it's just automatically turned on. Like when Utahime spilled tea on Gojo, or Yuji tried to give a slap on the back (which Gojo turned off so that Yuji can give him that slap on the back)
Exactly. So if Gojo turns off his infinity to catch the coin, he turns into a bomb and dies. Gojo is arrogant; he actually turns his infinity off a lot, seemingly to mess with his opponent like he did again Jogo. In this scenario, he might just be screwed. But only if he doesn't suspect anything. I imagine that if he suspects something and stops the coin with infinity while it's in the air, it would also stop the explosion.

Also, just to note. When Gojo touches the coin, he doesn't turn into a bomb, the coin is the bomb.
There's an argument that Gojo can survive the explosion point blank via physical enhancement and RTC, seeing that he reacted to almost being beheaded.
I will say, I think it’s well within Gojo’s personality to catch a coin tossed at him, whether it’s through cockiness, curiosity, or confidence in his own strength. He may at least want to see what Kira’s plan would be with such a bizarre action.
But I do doubt the likelihood that the bomb actually kills him. One shotting Gojo in those circumstances would really require a miracle.

Assuming cursed techniques and stand abilties are sorta merged in that they come from the soul (they dont cursed techniques are genetic and all come from the brain) then yeah but otherwise ger could not stop infinity as requiem gives the user a ability related to souls, killer queen being able to bring him and someone else back in time with btd being unable to use his stand, chariot requiem being able to switch around the souls from bodies, and ger being able stop abilties from stands (which is tied to someones soul as we see them still keep stands even after switching bodies) this also means that ger does not rewind time it just stopped diavolos time skip which inturn rewound time that he was skipping

I may be wrong about this, but i dont believe that Bites the dust is intangible. I don't remember where I heard this from but i do remember it being told to me that bites the dust manifests as a tiny version of killer queen inside the eye, which is why no one can touch it. Its also shown that a stand can manifest anywhere within its range with that weird foot stand from part four, so it may be possible that any stand could bypass infinity that way, but im not completely sure
That last point is a good point I should’ve mentioned, but imo it might not work because hypothetically it would have to spawn inside of Gojo, and correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think there’s an instance of someone’s stand spawning inside of someone else. At least how I interpret this scenario - if there’s ANY level of distance between them, technically it would still be within infinity so the Stand wouldn’t be able to hit him still. Good thing to note tho
You made the point of perhaps a microscopic organism could enter infinity, so naturally that made me think about The Lovers, and the fact that stands can just shrink apparently (this is from the steely dan fight in part 3) but its not very viable against someone who can heal entire portions of their brain and body in seconds so i suppose its just funny to think about

REMINDER that gojo raced and killed roughly 1000 transfigured humans in 0.2 seconds, a testament to his pure speed and brain processing power, meanwhile johnny got outplayed and almost died to a regular diego brando had he not been saved.

@@chocolatebar6785 no one who was directly turned into a bomb has survived but depending on the size of the object, if it's turned into a bomb and you explode with it, you "might" not die. Also people forget Kira is kinda like Dio when it comes to fights except leans into more of the sadistic side. His stand was not as strong so he had to depend on his smarts and usually goes for the kill immediately. Other than that, I believe he can defeat anything as long as he touches them directly.
@@chocolatebar6785 I am pretty sure Kira was just flaunting his ability. He already seemed to have planned the fight after the initial encounter anyways. It's not a far fetched idea to think Kira can adjust the strength of his bombs.
@@chocolatebar6785 But Killer Queen can’t touch Infinity, so Gojo won’t become a bomb. I think Shigechi was too close to an explosion, even if his stand was a bomb, it wouldn’t affect him, since when Josuke destroyed a few of Shigechis stand, it didn’t affect him
I definitely agree with the video but i got a few things to mention
Part 2 kars could eventually adapt to HP since if we can compare to when kars was sent to space he was able to make a casing to survive the vaccum of space while not being able to return to orbit though... (rip ultimate life form) but within that time he was able to make countermeasures. But by far he has no way to beat gojo. (Unless he adapts and is able to make his own domain expansion and counter gojo which would be funny)
Part 3 jotaro could simply rip through gojos brain or heart (i think it was like the stomach or brain to produce RCT) during time stop to ensure a kill its possible, but definitely not guaranteed.
Part 4: Kira may have more win cons due to the way infinity work and killer queen works. During the part kira gets access to stray cat a stand that is able to produce lethal pockets of air and when kira tamed it he kinda fused it with killer queen (bizzare am i right?) Enabling him to create invisible bombs technically since they are made from air. If gojo cant perceive it, it may kill him since his bombs legit bypass durability and consume the target in an explosion. Its a possible win con but kira is unlucky period so may not work out.
Part 5 giorno could win via GER via return to zero, nothings stopping him from simply using his base power of life giver while returning all of gojos abilities to zero. He has done it during the diovolo fight as he shot a rock at him that transformed into a scorpion quickly if not instantly. Plus he has life giver to go through gojos natural life span (he has only used it during black sabbath on a tree but if he can do it on that safe to say he can do it to a human)
Part 6 puuci, white snake cant get in close so thats off. C-moon may just be a stalemate because its like two infinity clashing each other but could it cancel it out if thats the case? Doubtful but interesting thought. And made in heaven should be a win more often then now seeing as he was able to move in time stop and reboot the universe through sheer speed alone.
Part 7 and 8 are simply busted lol😂

Jjk abilties are genetic and Kars scales to all living things and surpasses them (put him in dragon ball and hes the scariest thing there but put him in bleach and hes cooked) kars could give himself the 6 eyes and infinity, given kars' basically unlimited intelligence he could make his own cursed abilties too and he woould also be immune to his domain as kars' brain is significantly better than any human or cursed sorcerer. Gojos barrier doesnt suddenly disappear during stopped time, its not like gojo suddenly cant think during it, its not like unlimited void where peoples brains stop being able to compute. Gojo infinity vs bomb bubble is honestly a mix up depending on how you view how these abilties interact, if gojo can see stands due to 6 eyes as they are basically like cursed spirits (which would make sense) then six eyes and infinity could see the bombs and filter them out otherwise yeah it might go through infinity. Ger also only can target abilties from the soul (btd being able to send kira and hayato back in time, charriot requiem switching peoples souls, and ger being able to stop stand abilities which comes from the users soul. Yes this means charriot requiem can kill gojo and cursed techniques are biological). Mih cannot get past his barrier as what mih does is make himself and the world move faster while everything else does not catch up, pucci still has to walk there at normal speed which means he cant just walk into infinity, to put it simply pucci himself does not have that speed its more like organic beings infinity slow down rather than pucci himself moving at that infinite speed(not super good explaination I know), which moving infinity fast and traveling infinite distance is very different (think about it this way if I was 5 feet infront of you and we both moved at a rate of 2 feet a second you would never catch up to me) he would have to be infinity fast and then surpass that to bypass infinity.

I heard there was a jojo novel with Kars finding his way back to earth, his ability to evolve instantly allows him to adapt to virtually all situations and quickly to boot. Gojo's tendency to play with opponents he think are weaker than him, creates opportunity for Kars to possibly develop an ability to defeat infinite, much like how Mahoraga did but possibly faster, since Mahoraga has to interact with curse powers so many times before evolving a proper answer.

I think Okuyasu would win just because of the way Gojo lost against Sukuna in the original manga, got too cocky after thinking his opponent can't bypass infinity and gets split in two because they in fact, could. The worst part is that him losing to Okuyasu would probably make more sense than losing to Sukuna in the same scenario, just because of how stupidly he died in the original.

I don't know why everyone always forgets about Giorno's damage reflection (in both base GE and GER). All it would take is a couple well placed butterflies or something in between him and a hollow purple, and Gojo is toast

But it's not Jotaro's actual speed, it's his power to stop time. If time stop was realistic, I think Jotaro would instantly either burn since he moves so fast through the air, or since only massless things can move light speed, he will be disintigrated into a massless infinite energy

Pucci fight with emporio after shows pucci straight up immediately accelerating to universe reseting speeds. The question you should've asked is whether the fight starts with pucci evolving c-moon into made in heaven or pucci starting with made in heaven.

Cursed energy cannot be used in time stop, and cursed energy is required for infinity to activate. If even air cannot move in time stop, I don't think cursed energy would still be able to move either. So it would stop.
I really like how this video was a huge wake up call to the fact while there were really strong people and stands in parts 1-6 there was a sort of balance to it all in a beautiful way. Everything in and after steel ball run is a cosmic horror or heavenly force that only god himself could deal with

timestop absolutely plays a part in getting through infinity, since infinity doesn't outright block something, it just slows down anything in motion towards Gojo. So if there's no time = infinity does not exist, let alone Gojo's awareness during timestop for him to consciously block an attack with infinity

Giorno vs Gojo might be a stalemate purely on a conceptual level. In mathematics, zero times infinity is actually undefined. Infinity is not in the set of real numbers, so it doesn't get cancelled out by zero like real numbers do. In fact it isn't a number at all. The fight would 100% be funky and I don't think either could make a breakthrough.

Something that I feel was understated in these matchup's was range
Personally since we're taking characters at their peak then I don't think Gojo would just stand there and take it, reducing the match to "Can he go pass infinity", I'd actually think he would fight to the fullest, and in some scenarios like against Jotaro it'd reduce the effectiveness of Time Stop due to Gojo simply out ranging him with his abilities like Red or Blue and as far as the manga goes we haven't actually seen Red having travel speed whenever used to directly impact the opponent (Maho and Agito getting beamed, Sukuna etc.)
Also against D4C and it's sponging ability, wouldn't Infinity just stop Gojo's clone from ever coming to contact with him?
All in all, what I'm saying is that I've got the feeling of Gojo being put on the backfoot the entire video
Great video! I need to step up for Diavolo, though. During erased time, Gojo's shield should only react if it was fated to react during the time that gets erased. If Diavolo commits to only attacking during skipped time, which is what he prefers anyway, Gojo's shield should never be up during skipped time.
One thing not taken into account is that JoJo characters have human movement speed (with rare exceptions) so even if their perception and fighting speed are superior to Gojo they can't quite attack him properly.
This is the whole premise of the Rat fight in part 4 and the Made in Heaven fight in part 6.
Jotaro could have killed both the rat and Pucci if they were in his range but the rat had a stand gun and Pucci had incredible movement speed so Jotaro got outranged both times with no way to approach (I can't beat the shit out of you without getting closer)
This is a problem because Gojo is the fastest character in jjk much faster than even Naoya who has mach 3 movement speed, so Gojo can easily outrange most stand users.
Blue and Red are huge AOE attacks that can easily destroy multiple buildings and hollow purple can destroy skyscrapers.
I don't mean that as an ap feat but as a range feat that Jojo characters with human movement speed simply cannot dodge no matter what.
Hollow Purple also got shot all the way to Shinjuku for example.
His domain expansion also has an undefined range, but by eyeballing it, it seems much bigger than 2 meters which is the effective range of many stands.
And Gojo has telekinesis/blue that he used against Sukuna throughout the whole fight to get Sukuna away from him or closer to him whenever he wanted.
So the only way most Jojo characters get to fight Gojo in hand to hand is if he lets them.
They can't approach him themselves (few exceptions ofc)

I think DIO would beat Gojo. He's Super Human compared to Jotaro, can spam timestop as much as he wants, his timestop increases with every use, he is shown to willingly open up fights with time stop and spam it, and he has zero moral restraints. He would definitely cheap-shot Gojo early on in a fight and end it there. Another point you could've mentioned for Wonder of U is that Tooru could pull a Tony Stark and be chilling on his beach resort while Gojo gives it his all against the stand.

Gojo's domain won't do anything to such beings as Pucchi or GER because it overloads and fries the brain, but these things we're speaking about are literally heaven ascended stuff or like ungodly amounts of power and capacity, so his domain just wouldn't work.

You made a good point on timestop vs gojo and you were on the right track but that is not the reason why timestop counters Infinity.
I'm not sure how true it is with Gojo needing to manually filter out threats considering he can have it passively active repelling everything that's around him, If the ability worked that way then he'd need to perceive incoming attacks with his six eyes but there's been a couple times infinity repels something whitout him noticing it after it gets stopped by infinity so it's possibly more of an passively active ability that he can filter things to get near him.
Now timestop counters infinity simply because timestop can simulate infinite speed, how you're all aware infinity works is that it slows down the attacker until it comes to a halt whenever they try to get near Gojo, that being said speed is measured by time and distance traveled, if the time it takes to you to get there is none then the speed is infinite and thus he'd be able to hit Gojo in a timestop
Tbh, even though I agree Kars would likely lose most of the time to Gojo, I do think he has a chance. Let me explain.
As we know, Ultimate Kars has the ability to do what any animal can do but a hundred times better. This and combined with his intelligence allows him to basically do some crazy shit. One example is when he learned how to use Hamon at a ridiculously high level.
However, if we’re to factor in humans specifically from the JJK universe, then this would technically mean he could use cursed energy. So what exactly am I saying? What I’m saying is Kars could have the potential to not only utilize cursed techniques, but create ones that might be able to bypass Gojo’s infinity.
Cursed techniques are innate, they cannot be created. Unfortunately, this isn't HunterxHunter.
Also, cursed techniques are present from a very early age. If you don’t have a cursed technique by a certain age, you just don't have a cursed technique. Meaning Kars wouldn't have one.

Because even tho GER's revert to zero wouldn't turn infinity off out of nowhere(I mean it isn't an attack why would it) IF Gojo attacks Giorno, his actions and his willpower would be reverted back to point zero and makes him get stunned for a moment which would be enough for giorno to fuck him up.
But even in that case Giorno might not be able to just one shot him so I say it's either Gojo retreats after getting attacked first time and gets away from giorno (which he easily can) with 90% chance and Giorno takes him out with his first attack with 10% chance
I was gonna say something about the concept of an infinite distance pushing stopped time but I realized the reason why gojo has the six eyes is so his character can handle using infinity, it's manual, which most people forget, also being incredibly taxing to most people due to all the things they have to keep track of to apply infinity correctly, and although he could apply it in a field around him if he reads his opponent as being cocky and knowing things he doesn't it might make an anomaly and just crush anything around the infinity because infinite space + stopped object = disintegration or crushing at the least. But!... If you do it right, and just wait, I think you could definitely get at least one hit in as you said. Lol long winded explanation I just needed to put this out here.
I just watched further in the video, he does divide space, it's a valid point that in stopped space you couldn't divide it, so there you go lol. I should really watch this stuff before commenting.
2:30 I'm afraid you have Infinity a bit backwards here. Infinity *does* filters everything away; the detection aspect is to determine things that are harmless and thus can be allowed through. Things like air, light, sound, and food are all stuff that Gojo lets through because blocking them makes things harder. But undetectable attacks still get blocked, which is why Toji's ambush had to wait until young Gojo deactivated Infinity, even though he 100% didn't sense the attack coming.
How undetectable are you talking? Toji is an entire person, Sukuna's slashes are still objects that interact with other physical objects, but stands can be much much different
A majority of stands have intangiblity, invisibility, make no sound, and a good chunk of abilities straight up bypass defense somehow. Even if some of these dont apply, an intangible force cant really be pushed back. What are you pushing if you can't touch it?

As for intangibility, that won't help with Infinity. Infinity divided space to make the travel time infinite. Abilities that can teleport will bypass Infinity, but a abilities that can phase through defenses won't help. (Abilities that state they outright *ignore* defenses will likely still be able to get through, though.)

But there's probably ways to block that as well, since keeping air particles from outside if the barrier from getting close enough to interact with air particles inside of it would do the trick.

Personally, i think that Gojo actually stops at part 4, with Kira. And it isnt because of Bites the Dust, or even bypassing infinity. If neither knows the other's powers, Kira has an easy win due to his overwhelming speed and his base bombs bypassing durability, as if Gojo ever tried to land one singular physical attack ( which he likes to do ) against Kira he could just "block" the attack by taking a glancing blow that would immediately kill him, touching Gojo and planting a bomb on him.
The inky question is if a singoe glancing blow from Gojo could kill Kira, which i dont believe, so i think most times here, Kira wins.

BUT it doesn't work like that if we put Gojo against him, becase if gojo gets in the range of Killer Quenn to give Kira a punch or a semi-physical attack which uses proper contact, Kira does infact have enough speed to just go ahead and touch him in the place where the infinity is opened before Gojo can close it back, making it a W for Yoshikage. (This only works if Kira just doesn't get one-shotted by Gojo's theoretical punch/physical attack which I doubt he will if he uses Killer Queen to tank most of it)
But honestly, Gojo and his six eyes are more then enough to realize/sense how dangerous of a person Kira is, and after realizing that and not closing his infinity there is 0 chance that Kira can lay a hand on him
I would say out of 100 fights, Kira can take 1 or 2 maayyybe 3 W but other than that Gojo just wipes the floor with him.

Only thing I don’t see is how time stop counters infinity. Infinity just alters space so there infinite space between himself and his surroundings. It’s like building a wall and even if you stop time the wall is still there. Even if infinity is something gojo has to use curse energy to keep up, the curse energy will still be there keeping infinity up during stop time. Why would curse energy being used to keep infinity up disappear if time is literally stopped.
@@Etet777 well infinity doesn’t just make infinite space around gojo, it slows things down, it’s explained to work like Achilles and the tortoise where the distance between the tortoise increases every time Achilles halves the distance between them, therefore he needs to reach half of the new distance. But if time is stopped this theoretical tortoise would be incapable of moving and would be unable of creating a new distance that Achilles needs to reach half of. In other words the reason infinity cannot slow jotaro down is because he is crossing the distance between him and gojo in 0 seconds and is technically moving at infinite speed, therefore infinity is unable to halve his motion and slow him down because it does not have time to register jotaros movement and manipulate the space between them.
@@djbeebop8676 yeah but he slows things down by creating space. Gojo doesn’t have the ability to slow things down; he has the ability to alter space. Like 1 feet in front of him works like this. He extends the space 1/2 feet in front of him to 1 feet and then 1/4 to one feet and 1/8 to 1 feet resulting in infinite space. This infinite space stays in time stop because it’s not slowing down an enemy it’s just there always. If it slowed down an enemy then gojo would get hit by things he can’t perceive like attacks in his sleep or rock thrown at him at an angle he can’t see but it doesn’t hit him because that’s not how his powers work. Limitless isn’t a slowing down ability it just alters space.
Gojo is only city level dura because he reinforces himself with CE. He can't do that in stopped time; if Jotaro gets one timestop off it'll be like punching a regular human

As far as jotaro goes, like you said, he needs a sure fire kill to counter RCT after time resumes. Star finger right through the brain would be that surefire kill, assuming limitless isn’t active.

Infinity shouldn't work in stopped time cause it's not a constant barrier and it isn't dividing space constantly, the ability is always on in a way that it's always detecting things to then stop the detected object, so in stopped time, the ability can't detect anything to activate or even activate at all since well, stopped time
Another thing, considering the gigantic speed SP and TW have, even with a lower AP, a billion city levels punches in a single place during stopped time will release all the energy at the same time in a single spot, so the final AP would be way higher than the base AP of a punch, also, now more of a question, would't stands be able to technically negate any durability by going through the body and then hitting the organs?

One problem, a bit of spoiler though.
It is constant, in the manga after Gojo is finally freed, Yuji tries to give Gojo a slap in the back, however he couldn't so he mentions to Gojo that it's in the way. It's not detecting things, it doesn't work like that. It's purely Gojo's ability to just turn it on forever if he wants.
In the first place, how would you even detect an item that doesn't even have CE? It doesn't have a magical "ill intent" sense like GER does.
@@gammogInfinity works on his own by detecting objects by mass, speed, energy and "danger level", Gojo's intent doesn't really matter for anything unless he wants it to not detect things, that's literally the explanation he gives in the hidden inventory arc, it stopped Yuji's hand because it detected it and Gojo didn't notice it to turn it off

we cant forget how gojo could completely deploy his domain in less than a fraction of a second, dont think anybody is dodging that
He can shorten the duration to a fraction of a second, domains still take a while to manifest and you can hypothetically just run out of it if you're far enough away
Gorno's life creations refelect any damage, though I'm not sure if that would ignore infinity, since I don't remember it ever really being defended against.

@@Perry_theplatypus_02 cursed energy probably acts like hamon. dio got scared of joseph in time stop because he was using hamon, so that means dio still gets affected by Hamon during stopped time. so the infinity technique doesn't go away, it just stops pulling space in (that's how infinity works) but that doesn't mean the infinite space next to gojo goes away during time stop, it stays there because I mean, where would it go?
Kars stomps the shit out of gojo. He could literally just gain his cursed technique amplified by 100 or find a biological way to tire him out of cursed energy by frying his brain, disabling limitless.
