It's truly perverse that an organisation such as UN which is supposed to safeguard humanitarian needs is so constrained from behind the scenes by political intimidation and self interest. I admire the work that is been done by this channel. This gives me hope in human kind, that the world as a whole is rising up against the corrupt system.

I can understand why Mr Mokhiber resigned from his position at the UN, we need to hear his unconstrained voice, but I find it incredibly sad that we have one less man of principle and humanity working in that organisation. My faith in the UN, and my financial support for this organisation, is declining. In particular the veto powers of the US, its allies and the infiltration of the Israeli lobby groups have compromised its integrity and its ability to provide safety and transparency to the people of the world.

I suggest as long as there are countries which refuse to recognize the ICC, “international law” is just a catch phrase to be bandied about by politicians, if it fits their agendas.

The UN is a waste of 3.6 billion dollars a year.
"For 2023, the regular budget totals $3.4 billion, nearly one-quarter of which is for special political missions. This covers nearly 40,000 employees in duty stations around the world at $1.6 billion less than the 2023 operating budget of Delaware."
It only seems to block human rights in favor of the $$$$.
I believe that small part of those 3.4 billion goes for salaries for people at UNRWA who do meaningful work on the ground in places like Gaza

This has not gotten a lot of attention from mainstream media, but on Friday South Africa initiated legal action against Israel at the International Court of Justice invoking the Geneva Convention. I believe Ireland is considering following suit.

And so what about the international institutions set up and agreed to by the hoi polloi of the nation-states, the key states in those institutions being colonizers.
The nation-states and their joint institutions that they chose to set up for themselves are external to Palestine, but reserve the right to require Palestine to obey their rules while failing to compel Israel to obey their rules? The whole thing is colonial. The UN is a colonial institution imposed on Palestine (and if the people of other countries understood it, they’d know the UN is colonizing them, as well). The UN is not outside the colonial regime that descended on Palestine, it's an integral part of it. And since Israel thinks it's going to host the World Government in Jerusalem, and the UN in 1946 was declared to be "the basis of the world government", whose side can the UN possibly be on? It's on the side of the butchers and the highwaymen that created it.
Palestine has nothing to do with any of it. It’s as if Palestine is a little planet, and Darth Vader comes in for a landing. England is Darth Vader. (I’m not saying UK, I'm excluding Ireland and Scotland because England colonized THEM.) England targets the Middle East for oil, sells Palestine to the butchers, dickers around with the League of Nations of which it is a co-creator and then it dickers with the UN of which it is also a co-creator and where holds a power seat along with all the Big Bullies.
This global international situation is just as colonial as the Zionist settlers, just as colonial as England with its Balfour Declaration. Just as colonial as the Jews at Deir Yassin. It’s a network set up by a handful of self-appointed controllers for their own benefit.
What do any of these institutions have to do with Palestine? Nothing. Palestine is a third-party victim of them all. Palestine owes nobody anything. But it does owe something to itself.
The UN violated international law to recognize the Jews in Palestine as a state. The UN betrayed Palestinians by handing their homeland to these mass foreign invaders who had already massacred them.
Lea Brilmayer, a UN advisor on ‘secession’, has pointed out that to recognize a new state it must have a real and long-standing connection to the land it occupies where its borders will be formed. (She didn’t mention Israel, no doubt because the Palestinians have the real and long-standing connection to that land and only THEY qualify under international colonial rules to be recognized as a state “from the river to the sea”.)
The UN for nearly 80 years has allowed this horrific situation THAT IT CREATED. It’s unwilling or incapable of enforcing so-called international law against the GOLEM it created: ISRAEL. Who’s running the UN? Are they blind? Are they really supposed to care? Or are they just a facade for the private club of international thieves and butchers? Why would that institution, supposedly founded to “prevent” “war” (it was actually founded to be “the basis of the world government), let this happen for decades?
Palestine has always been on its own, and in my view, Palestinians, in part or in whole, certainly cannot be cited for not obeying so-called “international law” when nobody else does. Whatever Palestinians do, it can't be more awful, more terrible, more horrific than what Darth Vader England, the phony international institutions, and the Zionist butchers have done and continue to do. So, I propose to drop all reference to international law where Palestine is concerned and frankly liquidate the UN. There has to be a better way to rescue the situation.
THE WORLD 🌎 NEEDS ACTIVE AND STRONG INSTITUTION FOR PROTECTION HUMANITY BECAUSE HUMANITY IS THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT OF A HUMAN BEING.
