I really love the ending, the only part i didn't like was the hopelesseness of it all. Eren did a genocide, becoming a monster, basically sacrifice himself for his friends, and the war didn't stop. People kept killing each other years after his demise.

Mikasa clearly either didn't have those feelings or was straight up shy for some reason. It took eren dying for their first kiss ffs. And when eren asked her the serious questions she hesitated to answer on 2 occasions. The first when they were about to get drunk and the second in the cabin. She replied with "you are family" and "we promised not to talk about that stuff" after eren said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. It was this answer that drove eren away from her kinda and why polle say she had more of a motherly relation with him. She was overly obsessed.
It's definitely sad but i kind of love the fact that mikasa never married after losing eren. It just shows how pure and true her love was for him. Its beautiful honestly

Something you got wrong and that lots of people get wrong with the final post-credit scene is that the boy finding the tree and Eren's grave does NOT mean the power of the titans is brought back. He would have found the hallucigenia, which has the power of life and creation (it is not inherently the power of the titans). It is the inner desires of the one who interacts with it that determines what is created. Titans and the paths were created because Ymir desired a strong immortal body, freedom, love, and connections to others. This boy arrived to the tree under very different circumstances (wasnt being chased. Isnt enslaved. Seems to be exploring and free. Is accompanied by a trusted companion 🐶). It is very unlikely that he would desire the same things as Ymir and that he would bring back the titans. There is no way to know what power he will create. However, seeing that he arrived at the the tree under completely opposite circumstances as Ymir, and likely having vastly different life experiences, I'd wager that the power his desires create would be something good and selfless. While he's likely experienced hardships, he is a child of a peaceful era of rebirth, similar to that created by the rumbling (and in this case a world ending war). He's a child who hasn't had to live in the forest of war and violence, which is such a crucial theme of the show. And so, i believe he won't make the same mistakes as the adults before him, and that this final scene is actually imbued with hope. The hope that, while history may repeat itself, humanity can move forward. The future is shaped by new generations, which is why we have to get the children out of that forest.

this i what i think, sorry for the poor english that power always got into alot of animals but never had the chance to evolve like it did with the human inteligence. So in the end that power had many dna from all the species before. When it got to where we are some titans even could evolve to a bird like falco. I was thinking of this cuz in the sasageyo op we saw a dinassour, a whale and the monkey also aka zekes monkey. in the final we even saw many titan with many animals transformations. i think the power would have choose the boy cuz of past experience but would be funny if was the dog XD
Rewatch the final fight, that boy and his dog was summoned to fight against the scouts, you just have to watch really closely to find them. The series is definitely not over just yet.

I just finished the anime and I'm struggling to piece it together, can you explain to me why you're so sure? It really looks like she's there with Jean and a baby.
I'm aware that the manga officially shows that she's single, while the anime seems to depict her wearing a ring on her finger. Regarding the anime, I did have one theory of my own. My theory is that she did get married to Jean, which explains the ring on her finger. However, the child she's holding isn't their own biologically speaking, which also explains the white roses on her grave which symbolizes purity and virginity. If anything, she adopted the child at the orphanage she helped Historia with, and she and Jean decided to raise that child as a family. Other than that, the anime ending was left for us to speculate, since it was never confirmed. As for the bandages thing, I don't remember seeing it in the anime other than the embroidery, but I did see it in the manga.
Thanks for sharing this. I also find it funny you brought up the part that Mikasa died a virgin, which is true in the manga, but left with speculation in the anime. It was never confirmed she died a virgin or died married in the anime, so we're left with a myriad of possibilities of what happened. People love to point out the ring on her finger (which is only shown in the anime) and that she was holding a baby while accompanied with a guy who looked like Jean, but it was never confirmed whether she got married and had a kid with Jean, so once again, we're left with possibilities. To be honest, I'm also an EreMika ship person myself, but I think the author did a better job leaving the anime burial of Mikasa in speculation or ambiguity for us to believe if she died deceased single or married, leaving us in choosing our own head-canons, while the manga officially shows that she truly died single and a virgin. Then again, people are still fighting over that shit. what i like about the boy and the dog epilogue is it doesn't mean titans will come back but the cycle of violence continues but in different forms. The boy is about to meet the 'origin of all life' and it may grant him an eldritch horror never before seen on the planet. I like to think that when Ymir met this origin of all life, she had a couple requests in the moment, to have her wounds healed and to become bigger and stronger than her pursuers, i think the thing she came into contact with is more flexible and less of a one trick pony.
I agree, unless the author says so, nothing indicates that it always turns people into titans just like it did Ymir. Maybe it just grants the users wishes? Who knows. It's a fun think.
i think when you have a massively successful series, there is no good ending that will satisfy anyone, because they dont want it to end. ending it was the right thing though so it never got to be watered down for the sake of keeping it going or spinning it off
I saw a few comments saying “how did Armin get old?” The answer is when Eren died he wished that all titans and titans powers would disappear. With the finding Titans ability he was able to make that true. Meaning all titans and titans shifters became regular humans again and the 13 year curse was also taken away letting everyone who was a Titan shifter to be able to live a long life along with everyone else
I can tell that not a lot of anime fans read dystopian novels.....Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, Animal Farm and even 1984 all have non-conclusive endings. They're left wide open for people to insert their own thoughts of how the story "ends" or continues. That's the best part about literature and shows like this. It shows that stories do not have to end in a nice little neat feel good package. It's supposed to be thought provoking and to make you uncomfortable. Because that's life.
the boy at the end walking into the opening of the tree is almost identical to ymir walking into the tree before falling down and gaining the power of the founding titan
Alternate ending... Eren kills 100% of the rest of the world, no need for the wars to continue... Eren might not be public enemy number one because the Eldians adore him or he just runs away with Mikasa to enjoy the rest of his life like the way he did in the other timeline. The end.
In the last panels of the manga she just visited Eren's grave with her adopted child and simply went there by horse-ridding. That's why Jean is in the shot.
The flowers show that Mikasa will always be in love with Eren, he will always be her family even after death, she keeps the scarf as a sign of fidelity and loyalty to Eren and her lost love but Eren told her to forget it and continue his life. We see in Jean's vision, a woman (it's clearly Mikasa) and a baby, the woman has a cut on her face. And when Eren died, they had to become closer, they got married and had a baby, a family. flowers can represent serenity after heartbreak. Mikasa made her life, it makes me sad too that Mikasa is not finished with Eren but it would have made me even sadder for her that she spent her life without love and family near her. Jean has a lot of affection for Mikasa and I think he only wants her happiness, is also a beautiful love, because he accepts that Mikasa's heart still belongs to Eren.
Not married? You think she had children without being married? She also has a ring on her finger. She can continue to love Eren and still get married. Both can be true. I think they perfectly illustrated that with her having both the scarf and the ring on her deathbed. They’re vague on who she married because it’s from the back but the hairstyle and clothing style match Jean. The same clothes he was wearing when he infiltrated Marley when we see him first on screen.
Historia began helping orphans and Mikasa was with her helping tending the orphans. The flowers also represent her being virgin to her end of life. She also got buried next to Eren which makes it clear she had happy life despite keeping her memories of Eren. She kept her hand wrapped, likely signifying she didn't pass down her royalty status to anyone.

I never looked, but I'm pretty sure this was pointed out in other vids: in the public info cards in every single episode, there's one in season 4 that caught my eye: "For as long as people hold firm to different beliefs, there will always be an enemy." Idk, that like 'softened the blow' for me as I sat through the final credits, as unfortunately we see it as true. Also, I still choose to believe she married Jean. Who else would truly understand and accept Mikasa's love and devotion to someone he also knew and cared for? He fell for her in the beginning knowing she carried a torch for Eren.
1:34 thank god this was the most disturbing thing for me in the ending. I mean people talked about her happiness and things but this is a fiction and her love must be something nothing will take away even if its sad. the jean ending made me felt bad thanks for clearing that out. other was the ending of war destroying the island after years but mostly mikasa jean disturbed me.

I had read the manga before the anime finished and I just couldn't go back to watch it. I was too heartbroken. Honestly I don't know how else it could have ended and it was a good ending in my opinion. Just too sad to revisit 😭😭 Crazy how the begining seasons are my "fluff" for the show now 😅

Is no one remembering that one dream Jean once had during the show where he saw himself with Mikasa in an apartment and Mikasa was playing with their child? I don't think anything is ever random in AoT, so I always took that dream/vision as proof that indeed Mikasa and Jean married.
Tbh I saw it as some sort of daydream Jean made up to distract himself from reality and I didn't think it needed to be Mikasa since Jean already thought of the type of girl he liked before he joined the cadets and Mikasa just happened to look like this dream girl

It's also possible Eren opened his eyes in the end so that he's could capture the memory using the Attack Titan's power and send it somewhere into the past; potentially setting his plan in motion. Maybe that's even a part of what little boy Eren saw while he was laying under the tree.
Also that 4flowers might have something to do with the alternate timeline where they decided to run away and spend his last 4 years together somewhere..

I think the ring on mikasa hand was in the love of eren she put on herself. The kid on mikasa hand was some other kid dhe might have adopted as she did not pass the symbol. And as for the man in the anime version you can clearly see the colour of hair is blond that represents armin as the same man visit the tree when mikasa and eren are dead . FACTS

Historia should have been the one to break Ymir's curse, not Mikasa. Mikasa's parent's were killed and Eren saved her so now she's obsessed with him, that's all we really know about her. With Historia though, she looks like Ymir and she's royal blood. While we don't know much about Ymir's history, but it does seem plausible that they have a similar background because of how they act. Mikasa is obsessed with Eren but she does not obey him like Ymir obeys King Fritz, it's quite the opposite. Now why does Ymir obey King Fritz, it seem like she's desperate for approval kind of like Historia with her mom. And Historia was even willing to eat Eren to get love from her Father. That same state of mind could explain why Ymir completely obeys King Fritz. So the new "king" of Eldia is basically Eren. He is now the new King Fritz, they both wanted to wipe out Marley. Having said that, it would make sense if Eren was the father of Historia's baby, repeating the cycle. But then when Eren decides to destroy the world, that's when Historia should reject Eren's plan, and then kill him with spear, like when Ymir took the spear for Fritz and then that should release Ymir from her "curse". Then raise her baby with love so the future is no longer a cruel world. Also Historia should be the "reincarnation" Ymir to tie it all together even more, not just be similar 2. Eren never really showed any romantic feeling for Mikasa before, yes he loves her, but he technically loves all of his friends. It's not a romantic love. Eren didn't even care if Mikasa joined the scouts, she just followed Eren. So the romantic aspect just came out of nowhere at the end, I would have gotten rid of the that and kept it platonic, or have Eren treat her like the adopted sister that she is. It was kind of cringey to me. 3. Let's say for the sake of argument, that it makes sense for Eren to romantically love Mikasa, him crying about Mikasa being with another man needed to be cut. It just completely destroys Erens character. He should either want to destroy the world to save his friends or want his friends to stop him from destroying the world. Billions of people are going to die and Armin is worried about Mikasa's feeling getting hurt and Eren is worrying about her being with another man make both Eren and Armin look like sociopaths, so I no longer care about either of them. All that should be cut. 4. The the whole spine creature climax should be deleted. It serves no purpose. We don't know anything about it so we don't care about it and it's also a cheap scapegoat for the real issues that need to be resolved. 5. Eren making Dina eat Carla makes no sense because of the time paradox it creates and also it completely ruins what originally seemed like a powerful bond between Dina and Grisha and that she wanted to keep her promise to come find him, no matter what form she takes. That should all be cut. I think the problem is that Isayama wants too many plot twists for shock value at the detriment of the story

I’m only laughing because I didn’t expect such a long explanation but I’m here for it. In your scenarios, you mentioned Historia and Eren, I didn’t even thinking of the similarities between Historia and Ymir but yes! And I can’t remember when it happened but there was some sort of small time skip where they show her being pregnant and it seemed like Eren was at odds with the scouts and Mikasa, I thought a good way to go would’ve been to have him be the dad and that’s another reason why he was not with the scouts anymore. Then it was discovered it wasn’t that at all. But yess, I do see that storyline being wasted. Don’t know why we needed to know she was pregnant 🤷🏽♀️. The Mikasa -Eren love, I didn’t mind but yes, it was barely acknowledged by Eren at all, that did bother me. At the end Mikasa talked about remembering all those times that Eren jumped in time to go “visit” her and Armin, I wording liked to see more of said times to at least get a feel for those so called feelings he had for her. Prior to finishing the last 4-5 episodes I had seen an image of Eren listening in to Misaki’s pregnant belly and I thought “oh!, I guess he dies then, but leaves a happy life behind” I was sort of disappointed that wasn’t the case and that he was a martyr and did the whole sacrificing thing without an explanation only to discover, human nature doesn’t change. 🤷🏽♀️ They wanna still kill each other. Didn’t really care for the big founder bones creature, seemed like it honestly was to easy to kill considering how much more powerful he was supposed to be. I’ve learned to accept the sad, tragic ending. I think the main thing that gives me complex feelings about the ending is the whole time paradox concept and how Eren/Ymir (technically literally the author himself; their “god”) has apparently been manipulating everything throughout the series. Although these “complex feelings” may be intentionally caused by the author. Very meta indeed.

Here's a fun thing. Paradis was completely destroyed in the credits scene and all Eldians on the island were eradicated (we know this because the city was never rebuilt, even though it had been a long time since it was destroyed; vegetation doesn't overtake a city overnight), and someone showed up and located the tree in the post credits which has grown significantly larger, implying that the parasite that creates the Founding Titan still exists. The last time this happened, the end result was that the same number of people were left outside of Paradis as there were alive in Paradis. If the point is that this cycle is going to repeat again and have this same end result, then let's use some logic. If zero people are alive in Paradis, then that means the number of people alive after this cycle will be...

Mikasa clearly either didn't have those feelings or was straight up shy for some reason. It took eren dying for their first kiss ffs. And when eren asked her the serious questions she hesitated to answer on 2 occasions. The first when they were about to get drunk and the second in the cabin. She replied with "you are family" and "we promised not to talk about that stuff" after eren said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. It was this answer that drove eren away from her kinda and why polle say she had more of a motherly relation with him. She was overly obsessed.
No other series in 20 years made me cry as much as AoT. Not only for the ending but also for a variety of other emotional trauma moments…

Something you got wrong and that lots of people get wrong with the final post-credit scene is that the boy finding the tree and Eren's grave does NOT mean the power of the titans is brought back.
He would have found the hallucigenia, which has the power of life and creation (it is not inherently the power of the titans). It is the inner desires of the one who interacts with it that determines what is created.
Titans and the paths were created because Ymir desired a strong immortal body, freedom, love, and connections to others. This boy arrived to the tree under very different circumstances (wasnt being chased. Isnt enslaved. Seems to be exploring and free. Is accompanied by a trusted companion 🐶). It is very unlikely that he would desire the same things as Ymir and that he would bring back the titans.
There is no way to know what power he will create. However, seeing that he arrived at the the tree under completely opposite circumstances as Ymir, and likely having vastly different life experiences, I'd wager that the power his desires create would be something good and selfless.
While he's likely experienced hardships, he is a child of a peaceful era of rebirth, similar to that created by the rumbling (and in this case a world ending war). He's a child who hasn't had to live in the forest of war and violence, which is such a crucial theme of the show. And so, i believe he won't make the same mistakes as the adults before him, and that this final scene is actually imbued with hope. The hope that, while history may repeat itself, humanity can move forward. The future is shaped by new generations, which is why we have to get the children out of that forest.

that power always got into alot of animals but never had the chance to evolve like it did with the human inteligence. So in the end that power had many dna from all the species before. When it got to where we are some titans even could evolve to a bird like falco. I was thinking of this cuz in the sasageyo op we saw a dinassour, a whale and the monkey also aka zekes monkey. in the final we even saw many titan with many animals transformations.

I just finished the anime and I'm struggling to piece it together, can you explain to me why you're so sure?
It really looks like she's there with Jean and a baby.
I'm aware that the manga officially shows that she's single, while the anime seems to depict her wearing a ring on her finger.
Regarding the anime, I did have one theory of my own.
My theory is that she did get married to Jean, which explains the ring on her finger. However, the child she's holding isn't their own biologically speaking, which also explains the white roses on her grave which symbolizes purity and virginity. If anything, she adopted the child at the orphanage she helped Historia with, and she and Jean decided to raise that child as a family.
Other than that, the anime ending was left for us to speculate, since it was never confirmed.
As for the bandages thing, I don't remember seeing it in the anime other than the embroidery, but I did see it in the manga.

I also find it funny you brought up the part that Mikasa died a virgin, which is true in the manga, but left with speculation in the anime. It was never confirmed she died a virgin or died married in the anime, so we're left with a myriad of possibilities of what happened. People love to point out the ring on her finger (which is only shown in the anime) and that she was holding a baby while accompanied with a guy who looked like Jean, but it was never confirmed whether she got married and had a kid with Jean, so once again, we're left with possibilities. To be honest, I'm also an EreMika ship person myself, but I think the author did a better job leaving the anime burial of Mikasa in speculation or ambiguity for us to believe if she died deceased single or married, leaving us in choosing our own head-canons, while the manga officially shows that she truly died single and a virgin.
Then again, people are still fighting over that shit. It's so ridiculous, it reminded me of two NPCs in a game arguing with each other:

As for Iseyama, the author himself, I didn't expect anything different out of his writings to give us a tragic ending. I personally think that it was great until Season 4 and the ending came, and that to me pretty much went downhill in my opinion. Then again, it's Iseyama, the guy who decided to "torture" his fans with such an ending. It's a masterpiece gone twisted 🤣
what i like about the boy and the dog epilogue is it doesn't mean titans will come back but the cycle of violence continues but in different forms. The boy is about to meet the 'origin of all life' and it may grant him an eldritch horror never before seen on the planet. I like to think that when Ymir met this origin of all life, she had a couple requests in the moment, to have her wounds healed and to become bigger and stronger than her pursuers, i think the thing she came into contact with is more flexible and less of a one trick pony.
I agree, unless the author says so, nothing indicates that it always turns people into titans just like it did Ymir. Maybe it just grants the users wishes? Who knows. It's a fun think.
i think when you have a massively successful series, there is no good ending that will satisfy anyone, because they dont want it to end. ending it was the right thing though so it never got to be watered down for the sake of keeping it going or spinning it off
I did like the ending of the Anime, it did wrap it up. And I agree, history repeats itself and humans never learn and will always seek out conflict.
I saw a few comments saying “how did Armin get old?” The answer is when Eren died he wished that all titans and titans powers would disappear. With the finding Titans ability he was able to make that true. Meaning all titans and titans shifters became regular humans again and the 13 year curse was also taken away letting everyone who was a Titan shifter to be able to live a long life along with everyone else
I didn't cry because it was sad to me from not seeing Eren and Mikasa be the perfect match they were.
I can tell that not a lot of anime fans read dystopian novels.....Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, Animal Farm and even 1984 all have non-conclusive endings. They're left wide open for people to insert their own thoughts of how the story "ends" or continues. That's the best part about literature and shows like this. It shows that stories do not have to end in a nice little neat feel good package. It's supposed to be thought provoking and to make you uncomfortable. Because that's life.

The flowers show that Mikasa will always be in love with Eren, he will always be her family even after death, she keeps the scarf as a sign of fidelity and loyalty to Eren and her lost love but Eren told her to forget it and continue his life. We see in Jean's vision, a woman (it's clearly Mikasa) and a baby, the woman has a cut on her face. And when Eren died, they had to become closer, they got married and had a baby, a family. flowers can represent serenity after heartbreak.
Mikasa made her life, it makes me sad too that Mikasa is not finished with Eren but it would have made me even sadder for her that she spent her life without love and family near her.
Jean has a lot of affection for Mikasa and I think he only wants her happiness, is also a beautiful love, because he accepts that Mikasa's heart still belongs to Eren.

They’re vague on who she married because it’s from the back but the hairstyle and clothing style match Jean. The same clothes he was wearing when he infiltrated Marley when we see him first on screen.

Historia began helping orphans and Mikasa was with her helping tending the orphans. The flowers also represent her being virgin to her end of life. She also got buried next to Eren which makes it clear she had happy life despite keeping her memories of Eren. She kept her hand wrapped, likely signifying she didn't pass down her royalty status to anyone.

It's also possible Eren opened his eyes in the end so that he's could capture the memory using the Attack Titan's power and send it somewhere into the past; potentially setting his plan in motion. Maybe that's even a part of what little boy Eren saw while he was laying under the tree.

Aot takes place in a fictional German country so their culture shouldn’t be Japanese. Everyone’s appearance and the food in the anime looks more European than Japanese.

I think the ring on mikasa hand was in the love of eren she put on herself. The kid on mikasa hand was some other kid dhe might have adopted as she did not pass the symbol. And as for the man in the anime version you can clearly see the colour of hair is blond that represents armin as the same man visit the tree when mikasa and eren are dead . FACTS

1. The main issue is that the whole plot line of Historia getting pregnant was wasted. Historia should have been the one to break Ymir's curse, not Mikasa. Mikasa's parent's were killed and Eren saved her so now she's obsessed with him, that's all we really know about her.
With Historia though, she looks like Ymir and she's royal blood. While we don't know much about Ymir's history, but it does seem plausible that they have a similar background because of how they act.
Mikasa is obsessed with Eren but she does not obey him like Ymir obeys King Fritz, it's quite the opposite.
Now why does Ymir obey King Fritz, it seem like she's desperate for approval kind of like Historia with her mom. And Historia was even willing to eat Eren to get love from her Father. That same state of mind could explain why Ymir completely obeys King Fritz.
So the new "king" of Eldia is basically Eren. He is now the new King Fritz, they both wanted to wipe out Marley.
Having said that, it would make sense if Eren was the father of Historia's baby, repeating the cycle. But then when Eren decides to destroy the world, that's when Historia should reject Eren's plan, and then kill him with spear, like when Ymir took the spear for Fritz and then that should release Ymir from her "curse". Then raise her baby with love so the future is no longer a cruel world. Also Historia should be the "reincarnation" Ymir to tie it all together even more, not just be similar

Eren didn't even care if Mikasa joined the scouts, she just followed Eren. It was kind of cringey to me.
3. Let's say for the sake of argument, that it makes sense for Eren to romantically love Mikasa, him crying about Mikasa being with another man needed to be cut. It just completely destroys Erens character.
He should either want to destroy the world to save his friends or want his friends to stop him from destroying the world. The Mikasa part is just out of place.
Billions of people are going to die and Armin is worried about Mikasa's feeling getting hurt and Eren is worrying about her being with another man make both Eren and Armin look like sociopaths, so I no longer care about either of them. All that should be cut.
4. The the whole spine creature climax should be deleted. It serves no purpose. We don't know anything about it so we don't care about it and it's also a cheap scapegoat for the real issues that need to be resolved.
5. Eren making Dina eat Carla makes no sense because of the time paradox it creates and also it completely ruins what originally seemed like a powerful bond between Dina and Grisha and that she wanted to keep her promise to come find him, no matter what form she takes.
That should all be cut. I think the problem is that Isayama wants too many plot twists for shock value at the detriment of the story

In your scenarios, you mentioned Historia and Eren, I didn’t even thinking of the similarities between Historia and Ymir but yes! And I can’t remember when it happened but there was some sort of small time skip where they show her being pregnant and it seemed like Eren was at odds with the scouts and Mikasa, I thought a good way to go would’ve been to have him be the dad and that’s another reason why he was not with the scouts anymore. Then it was discovered it wasn’t that at all. But yess, I do see that storyline being wasted. Don’t know why we needed to know she was pregnant 🤷🏽♀️.
The Mikasa -Eren love, I didn’t mind but yes, it was barely acknowledged by Eren at all, that did bother me. At the end Mikasa talked about remembering all those times that Eren jumped in time to go “visit” her and Armin, I wording liked to see more of said times to at least get a feel for those so called feelings he had for her. Prior to finishing the last 4-5 episodes I had seen an image of Eren listening in to Misaki’s pregnant belly and I thought “oh!, I guess he dies then, but leaves a happy life behind” I was sort of disappointed that wasn’t the case and that he was a martyr and did the whole sacrificing thing without an explanation only to discover, human nature doesn’t change. 🤷🏽♀️ They wanna still kill each other.
Didn’t really care for the big founder bones creature, seemed like it honestly was to easy to kill considering how much more powerful he was supposed to be.
I liked Eren as MC but I feel like maybe bc I binged it I wasn’t able to appreciate his character development?? I thought it was very minimal for an MC. 🤷🏽♀️

I’ve learned to accept the sad, tragic ending. I think the main thing that gives me complex feelings about the ending is the whole time paradox concept and how Eren/Ymir (technically literally the author himself; their “god”) has apparently been manipulating everything throughout the series. Although these “complex feelings” may be intentionally caused by the author. Very meta indeed.

But common, do you really think mikasa is gonna bring husband on a grave with that writing on it nd decades later get burried beside eren while being wedded to another man? Marriage is an interpretation just like she being single, the thing is she getting married doesnt make sense
@@siabye1500 Why it wouldn't made sense? I think it can: Eren says to Armin he wants Mikasa for himself, but then admits to Mikasa he was being selfish. Mikasa having his own life after all what happened would make eren happy, that would mean not everything was for nothing, at least he could made his friends to live in peace. That's why Mikasa ends up smiling in the end, saying thanks for wrapping the scarf.
So she ends up with Jean or whatever, why not really? I like to see all points of view

Me considering her unmarried doesnt mean i consider her miserable and in grief 24/7 rest of her life. Mikasas character development is about never putting eren asaide, she moves on from grieving, not from eren

Here's a fun thing. Paradis was completely destroyed in the credits scene and all Eldians on the island were eradicated (we know this because the city was never rebuilt, even though it had been a long time since it was destroyed; vegetation doesn't overtake a city overnight), and someone showed up and located the tree in the post credits which has grown significantly larger, implying that the parasite that creates the Founding Titan still exists. The last time this happened, the end result was that the same number of people were left outside of Paradis as there were alive in Paradis. If the point is that this cycle is going to repeat again and have this same end result, then let's use some logic.
If zero people are alive in Paradis, then that means the number of people alive after this cycle will be...
