not a fan of the art style but i'm ok with persona. last persona i played was persona 3. BTW have you heard anything about the game-breaking bugs on gloomhaven switch being patched already (discard card road event, retiring, etc)?
that push into someone shooting from below looks so awesome. probably the only reason why i'd consider this game. i presume there's no job/class system and minimal customization options?
while i enjoy the puzzle aspect, i wish there was more buildcrafting here as that's one of the main things i look for in trpgs. i can see this game being repetitive. like redemption reapers. hows the story paths or is there only 1 path? I'm afraid the story might be too campy and not serious.

I haven't looked in a bit, but the last time I checked a couple of weeks ago some of the bugs in GH had definitely been fixed. I'd imagine by now everything should just about be fixed, but I do need to look into that some more.
On Persona 5 Tactica, yeah there isn't really any customization to speak of or any class system. It more about the tactical puzzles like I said. The first chapter does start to drag a bit with repetitiveness, but then the game starts throwing new map mechanics at you that make things much more interesting and it never really stops. New challenges get added fairly often. The boss fights too, while few are really good.
Story wise, there is a lot of, campiness as you put it I guess, but it does get serious and deal with some darker themes particularly in the third chapter. It is definitely lighter hearted than Persona 5 though as that game starts off with a very dark theme.

@@89Games cool. kindly let me know as i'm considering buying gloomhaven during the holidays as i plan to take a break from BG3.
sounds like persona 5 tactica isnt for me. next i have on the docket is front mission 2 once their physical release is out which i expect to happen some time next year.

@@TheRobversion1 It looks like a majority of the issues are fixed from looking at the patch notes. I'd say most major issues are gone now, thought there could still be a minor bug here or there, but nothing that should impair gameplay.

@@89Games yeah i'm just concerned about blockers. read about 2 that might still exist; retiring 2 characters at the same time and picking a road event card that requires you to discard. are those 2 fixed?
