Newly-elected Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed the country's Parliament. He raked up the Kashmir issue in his maiden speech as a PM and appealed the parliament to pass a resolution for the "freedom of Kashmiris". He also mentioned about the atrocities in Gaza since the Israel-Hamas war broke out.

Today in 2024, while India is the 5th largest economy and the fastest growing G20 market in the world, Pakistan is no where near G20, let alone India and today the economy of Pakistan is even below countries like Nigeria and a sanctioned Iran
