It's refreshing to see that a light game like this marketed towards families still gives you good quality components. Definitely room for this in a gaming collection for that good relaxing Friday/Saturday night beer and pretzels fun. Will your gaming buddies that like Die Macher like this? No. But with the right group I can see this being some silly enjoyment. I'd certainly rather play this with some of my non-gamer friends and family than pull out something like Uno. Also, I appreciate that Zee gave this a fair review and sees it for what it is. A lot of content creators would probably either not touch this for a review or just slam it right out of the gate.
Agreed in basically every way. I prefer to play it online. Skipping the set up. My group comes back to this once every six weeks as a ten-twenty minute closer. It’s a game I could play with grandma and a ten year old.
I'd maybe have pushed the rating up to 6.5 or 7. It's a filler, but pretty neat one if you want to kill 20 minutes. It's a game I could also see being used in maths lessons for probability (since at any point you know how many clovers are left, and how many of each number are in use), and also for inequalities (the clover here must be >4, and =5 and
The fun of the game is trying to play chicken as long as you can until you can fill up your board. So if you draw an 11 and can't use it, you want to look at the other players boards and take the 11 anyway if they cant use say the 15 and replace your 15 with the 11. Shuffling the tiles on your board around is the mark of a better player. It also gives you more flexibility. Waiting for a specific number just makes it too lucky and you can always tell the noob players from the experts :)

Just bought it from Amazon France ( I didn`t find it anywhere, ebay, amazon, -uk, de, es- now I understand why, because it is a reprint), I played it online and I like it quite a bit. I`m in a non Eu country, Albania, but Europe nonetheless. But not a lot of board games players here. Also no stores. You definitely nailed with the presentation. But from a beginner point of view, I played a lot of games with my kids, (but the more adult ones only online) and I bought it for that reason because you could easily teach them how to play it. And if it has more work on the table, all for the better! More time for them to get invested in! :))) Yeah, it is frustrating in the end when that peculiar piece doesn`t come at all, but, hey, on top of all the things, it`s an easy game more about luck, and spending some minutes relaxing your brain, than everything else. Yeah I thought so too. For what it's trying to achieve, it does it very well, so it should get a higher rating.
