i personally had no problems with the icons on the tiles and i also find it very strategic for me. ive had multiple turns that i gained 15+ tokens because i thought ahead. 8/10 from me
Take a look at; Akrotiri- Two player only, kinda puzzlie, plays fast with great interaction without a take-that feel. Cacao- Middleweight, plays up to 4, has several expansions with modules, its easy to teach and fun. Canalis- Drafting, special powers, cool theme, great production very thinky. Enigma- The tile laying is only part of it, but it's important. The rest is all about the 4 puzzles. Galaxy Trucker- Real time and chaotic, goofy fun with great expansions. New York 1901- Family weight strategy with tetris style pieces. Quarantine- Action selection style with unique theme, some confrontation and nice replayability. Steam Works- Worker placement engine builder with neat mechanisms and low impact interaction. Super Motherload- Deckbuilder with fantastic components, asymmetrical player powers and interesting play. Takenoko- Players build the board as you go trying to set up according to goal cards, has cute pandas. DT has reviews for almost all of them I think. Check the Boardgamegeek for more detail.
Nice to hear you champion accessibility and highlight the importance of it in the design process
Merry Christmas to you too Zee!
The BGG play through on Game Night confirmed all of Zee's comments but I picked it up on sale for almost half price so my conscious is at peace :)
Thank you for your review.

I was so close to backing this. Sounds like it worked out I didn't. Thanks for the review.
Was just searching through the channel. Have you guys never done a top 10 tile laying games? Having trouble finding one I can engage with.
Rahdo has one.
My favourite is Isle of Skye, though it's a bit more than a simple tile laying game.
@@matthewharris-levesque5809 Thank you. I watch both channels and will look up Rahdos. Still hope Dice Tower does one at some point too.
