First time I saw Monk & Bunny perform was at Zen ‘96 in Orlando. Had a crazy, twisted suit on running the stage. Bouncing a HUGE 6’ beach ball in the pit.

30 Years
Some of the best times in my 20's! So miss this and dancing the night away! I'm glad to see someone video taped this, but I'm glad we didn't have smartphones back then or social media really... we'd all have some explaining to do to our kids!! However, I did at least introduced them to the music! And I would wear my silver sequined pants, dance on a speaker and be a human disco ball! Best of times!

A lot of things tell me this is later than 1994. I was messed up most of the time but I remember Deeper and Floo.r.i.d.a hearing them later. Bunnies outfits and a couple other things. ??
Yep, I think Floo.r.i.d.a came out in 99?
But that version of OBE is a super early version of it. So maybe the track was being developed but wasn’t released until years later?
FlooRi.D.A. was included on the Sunshine State of Mind compilation which was released in 1997. So Dave definitely had the song recorded well before the release of the EP.
@@rjonzun5828 I had that compilation and actually started one of my promo mixes with that song because I could mix out of it. Long before CDs could be used with pitch adjust.
I know i got a flier....saved most of every show i saw in Florida and Denver.

This really brings back memories... is this truly 94? If so, great production by the boys... crowd looks great. I remember being unable to budge in Firestone when it was at peak capacity. Miss the place and those times. Also The video footage is excellent

BTW - The 1994 era version of FLORIDA was maybe the greatest rave track. I've ever heard .... IMO far better than the released version.

I lost/found my mind that night. I remember Bunny coming out in a light bulb suit. The lights started popping off him like popcorn popping, I could hear them popping, and new lights would pop up where the the ones that just popped off were. And at some point someone gestured for me to look up at which point I saw people on swings all over the place.

the white labels were out before that, but this was before the white labels iirc. Everything was like that back then with them bc they were primarily a live act, not a recording group.

Specifically, Deeper on vinyl (purple color) literally took years to come out after I heard it at clubs
