I don’t know if anybody else has mentioned this to you. But when you start talking to Siri to set the time, my iPad pauses UA-cam and it asks me who is Darling (because they’re not finding anyone by that name in my phonebook). And also wants to know how long I want to set the timer for. Of course, I find it highly entertaining. I have two Thanksgiving dinners to attend, and I will be bringing butternut squash in one of the Rieck recipes that you’ve mentioned to each of those. You should try a reverse puff pastry veggie "pizza" . I make it 2-3 times a week and it's a great way to use seasonal veggies. It's super easy and you can make it totally vegan. If you're ever interested I can give you the recipe it is really good! Your amazing tofu and butternut squash puff pastry recipe made me think of it. ❤

My black lab female loved to roll in stinky stuff too. She was super sweet, not sassy at all. My female heeler mix, on the other hand, disdains stench but is extremely lippy. I live off grid and cook outside every day and cannot use oil but…I know how to adapt recipes for my own use. Thank you for what you do!
Thank youuuuuu ❤ just made theeeeee best squash seeds e-v-e-r!!! Not sure if this is faster, but use warmest water through the tap spray to dislodge strings from seeds. Followed Derek and Frankies method of prepping seeds for oven. Personally love subtle heat so used a premix of Caribbean jerk seasoning ( all spice, garlic, brown sugar, chipolte powder, clove, thyme, black pepper, cayenne, salt, cinnamon) OH MY LANTA my taste buds are sooooo happy 😊. Took the "scraps" and cast iron seared them (as shown) and convection aired to finish. Didn't last long enough to season differently. Used a 6" boning/filet knife to remove skin....chefs 💋....so easy. Thank you again. Cooking baking makes me light and airy. Too much darkness these days and I refuse to give in! Derek and Frankie (my rescue Ruby dog gives high five paw) are arsenol in the tool box of living la vida loco life!!! Cheers!!!

I made this tonight along with mixing a pint container of the spice recipe and topped it with a butternut gravy I made from scratch using the same spices. Wow! It is delicious. Thanks for this way of preparing the squash and the spice blend. Superlative! Love it!
Awesome! I used your method last week and still have some squash prepped out. I did the filet browned in butter and topped with a chilli oil pecan topping with panko tofu and broccoli. So good. The prep always made butternut squash an “event”, and it's nice to just have the eating of it be the event.

I have been watching for a while and have been slowly implementing changes and have drastically reduced how much meat myself as well as my mother eats. She has high blood pressure (in the past) and high cholesterol and now she is needing to reduce her BP meds. I attribute it to these changes and thank you for putting a delicious spin on veganism. I love the looks of this recipe and I have yet to try tofu. Mom really doesn't want to do tofu - do you have an alternative you could recommend? Even like a lentil patty is what I am thinking. I bet you have a stellar lentil patty recipe? lol

You should try a reverse puff pastry veggie "pizza" . I make it 2-3 times a week and it's a great way to use seasonal veggies. It's super easy and you can make it totally vegan. If you're ever interested I can give you the recipe it is really good! Your amazing tofu and butternut squash puff pastry recipe made me think of it. ❤

My black lab female loved to roll in stinky stuff too. She was super sweet, not sassy at all. My female heeler mix, on the other hand, disdains stench but is extremely lippy. Thank youuuuuu ❤ just made theeeeee best squash seeds e-v-e-r!!! Not sure if this is faster, but use warmest water through the tap spray to dislodge strings from seeds. Followed Derek and Frankies method of prepping seeds for oven. Personally love subtle heat so used a premix of Caribbean jerk seasoning ( all spice, garlic, brown sugar, chipolte powder, clove, thyme, black pepper, cayenne, salt, cinnamon) OH MY LANTA my taste buds are sooooo happy 😊. Took the "scraps" and cast iron seared them (as shown) and convection aired to finish. Didn't last long enough to season differently. Used a 6" boning/filet knife to remove skin....chefs 💋....so easy. Thank you again. Cooking baking makes me light and airy. Too much darkness these days and I refuse to give in! Derek and Frankie (my rescue Ruby dog gives high five paw) are arsenol in the tool box of living la vida loco life!!! Cheers!!!

I made this tonight along with mixing a pint container of the spice recipe and topped it with a butternut gravy I made from scratch using the same spices. Wow! It is delicious. Thanks for this way of preparing the squash and the spice blend. Superlative! Love it!
Awesome! I used your method last week and still have some squash prepped out. I did the filet browned in butter and topped with a chilli oil pecan topping with panko tofu and broccoli. So good. The prep always made butternut squash an “event”, and it's nice to just have the eating of it be the event.

I have been watching for a while and have been slowly implementing changes and have drastically reduced how much meat myself as well as my mother eats. She has high blood pressure (in the past) and high cholesterol and now she is needing to reduce her BP meds. I attribute it to these changes and thank you for putting a delicious spin on veganism. I love the looks of this recipe and I have yet to try tofu. Mom really doesn't want to do tofu - do you have an alternative you could recommend? Even like a lentil patty is what I am thinking. I bet you have a stellar lentil patty recipe? lol
