- I decided to upload the full version of the soundtrack for the fireworks display Wishes at Walt Disney World. Hope you enjoy...this song bring back so many happy memories for me
I see this everyday (I work at Magic Kingdom) and yet it makes my eyes water every single time!!
I cry every time I hear the little girl singing "Star Light, Star Bright" in the beginning at 0:53. I remember so vividly, hugging on to my mom's arm, and resting my head on her shoulder. I love her so much, and this song will always remind me of her.
p04h17 I cry everytime i see my bank account after I have been to Disney on a vacation ! But it is worth every penny seeing my children and grandchildren having such a fantastic, happy & wonderful time along with the memories I have of my father when he was with us. The memories live in my heart and even though I am a little over 50 years old, I get chocked when I hear this music as well as the music from Fantasmic & the Electrical Parade.

Homer Bojangles I think you are an amazing father and grandfather. What's the point of having money if you're not going to spend it, right? I'm sure that when your children and grandchildren grow up, they too will relive memories they've made with you, and appreciate all that you've sacrificed for them. :)

I've had to recently thank my parents for making me stay late for shows like these back then when all I wanted to was ride the rides while other people weren't there, as an adult now I've got a better appreciation for stuff like this now.
I'm lucky enough to be able to work Wishes almost every night. My job working for Disney requires me to be outside and work during the parades and fireworks. I've seen this show and I've memorized the soundtrack but every time for some reason I always seem to tear up at the end. It still gets every time. That and the ending to Celebrate the Magic.

I work at Disneyland and I envy your fireworks spectacular. During my visit, this song would have me crying every time.
but your so lucky because they're taking electrical parade away from us and bringing it to you! I'm part of the closing cast and crew for Disney's Electrical Parade and I'm so sad it's leaving!
You guys might be getting our Paint The Night Parade which is awesome, God willing they can repair it after it makes its short run after the holiday season. It's VERY badly beat up after it's run with the Diamond Celebration, and the costumes are a complete mess.
But it was amazing during the time it made its run here. Hopefully it can be fixed in time and does get sent to Florida. I can totally see it going in the Magic Kingdom and bringing new memories there.
do you think the electrical parade will come back after its finale tomorrow??? cant wait and go see it tomorrow after work :)
Taking my little girl in September! Feels like a full circle, I went when I was a kid now I'm taking my baby! She's 18 months old and a real Disney princess!! Hope the husband will stArt to love Disney abit more once he's been!!

I was just at Disney. I am a 31 year old Marine. But when my kids and I got done having dinner at the Cinderella's table and got to sit right at the base of the castle, their faces made me tear up! It was a ton of money, and long exhausting days. But it was soooo worth it. Have been looking for this soundtrack since we got back. My kids all gathered around as soon as it came on! :)
This song always brings me back happy memories. Pure magic. I saw that firework presentation in 2005 in person. Unforgetable!!! Out of this world!
I've seen Wishes once.... Just recently and today my dad and I were looking at videos from our trip and there was a bit of this and I had to come and listen to the soundtrack. The girl that sings at the beginning is so good and makes me cry tears of joy! Disney World is a great magical place. If only Walt could see what he created, I wish to go back to Disney World, and to work there, to be an Imagineer maybe!

I watched my father mourn my mothers death for 26 long years. The happiest I ever saw him was when he decided to take his 3 grandchildren to Walt Disney World Florida.
After 26 years of mourning no words can explain seeing my father smile and laugh once again.
Seeing his grandchildren enjoying themselves and seeing my father's face light up and smiling once again after such a long time was very emotional for me, priceless and happy memories which are kept in my heart forever.
o god..... there are so many things to say about this song and the firework show and disneyland. lets start at the beginnin. i went to disneyland a lot when i was a kid. my mom always used to take me there when i was little. Now passes are so expensive tht i havet gone to disneyland in 3 years! i miss it so much! so with a little begging i made my mom say yes to taking me there on the 26. i cant wait! i alwasy used to sit on her shoulders and watch the fireworks. I love dinseyland
I'm 19 and I have been to Disney so many times, this past summer being the most recent. I saved up money by my own to go with my boyfriend and it could not have been any better. I love nothing more than this place. Every time I go, I feel like a little kid and it is impossible to be sad at any time throughout the trip. From the hotels, to the employees, to the night time fireworks.. everything about Disney is simply magical and I cannot wait to join the internship program there next year.
I went there with my choir for spring break last year to perform at Downtown Disney. It was the most magical week of my life. Along with going to all the Disney parks we went to Universal Studios (which was amazing because Wizarding World of Harry Potter) this show and Fantasmic were the two of the best highlights of the trip. They both had me in tears.

It actually was played by the voice actor for Homer Simpson because Micheal Eisner had a bad relationship with Robin Williams. He did not want him in any of the shows or parades. The Same goes for Spectromagic It wasn't him on the music float.
I'm fourteen, and I feel like I'm growing up to fast, so I was laying in bed, reading, and I read "Starlight" and I automaticlly thought of the disney song "Starlight Starbright" I listened to this...and I feel like a kid again. I never want to grow up
You can buy this on an CD album but only at Disney World Florida ( not sure if you can buy it at other Disney theme parks but you can get it in Florida )

Disney has been a big part of my life and for some resin after all the horrible things I've seen in my 14 years of life but for some reason Disney can still bring a tear to my eye and can make me smile
this was probably one of the best firework shows i have ever watched in my life. That night at the park was just the best ending to a day. Disney world. was a great experience.
Perhaps... bro Walter still in here with us... I can't imagine how about his expretion if he looks Disneyland in many country... expecially in the night....
I want that too but I don't think Disney has ever released it. I want to try editing it together and I may upload it to UA-cam if I can get it to sound good.
yay, i be going to wdw in septemeber, and this is my second time and my permanent vacation destination, I cant wait to make more more and more more more memories

I really wish the "Make A Wish! WISHES! Dream A Dream! WISHES!" part was longer. It is just so powerful and beautiful.

if you search "wishes" on itunes the album of it should come up. its made by Disney

This whole soundtrack will always bring me back to when I was a child. It is and will always be my favorite fireworks display at Disney World. It never fails to make me teary eyed, especially now since it's gone.

To this day, my favorite memory is watching this show with my siblings, parents, and grandparents when I was 10. Its one of the most amazing arrangements Ive ever heard.
