Not me crying right now remembering how magical not just this show, but the whole 50th anniversary was. This is easily one of my fondest memories from childhood
Walt’s voice always makes me tear up during this show. What a perfect fireworks show honoring his legacy. We must never lose sight that it was all started with a mouse.
This is everything Disney World's 50th fireworks wasn't. My favorite Disney fireworks show by far, nothing else can compare. I remember seeing this when I was 4-5 years old for the 50th and when tinkerbell flew down from the Matterhorn and was flying back and forth around the castle for the first time, I was just in awe. It was real Disney magic and it makes me cry just thinking about it and how fond of a memory it was from my childhood. It was what inspired me to want to pursue entertainment
This is my favorite fireworks ever (well second to the fireworks they had at 90’s Nite) because it covers literally every park ride! the 50th anniversary was the best, & I was there on 5/5/05 & watched this show on its first showing & I’ll always cherish those memories!

I was 6 years old when I saw this live. Disneyland gave my the happiest memories of my life, and I often wonder if adulthood could ever live up to it. Back then, to me, none of this was special effects or costumes. It was all real. I believed in all of it. And I believed that your wildest dreams could come true. I will forever miss that feeling.
I'm here on July 17, 2020, in honor of Disneyland's 65th anniversary. I first went at 5 years old (I was born September 7, 2000) in October 2005 during the 50th anniversary. This is definitely one of the best memories I've had of all the times I've been. Though Disneyland may have been affected by the COVID business, I know that one day they will reopen it. This world can never be truly happy without the Happiest Place on Earth.
Thank you for this posting and the soundtrack of the memories from 2005 ! My older daughter was a Castmember during DL's 50th and it was a special time - for her Mom here and little kid sister, too! We shared such very happy family times during those years she went to Biola and worked at the Park... Very special ... Thank you to Walt Disney... Happy Birthday, Disneyland "58" and going strong!
Im here during quarantine and ong i miss disneyland so much and i miss this firework show so muchh definitely the best firework show i wish they would bring it back. I miss being able to go to disneyland every week loll thank you for posting this this show never fails to brighten my day :3
During the 50th, it did say "50 years ago" - it was revamped with the alternate "in 1955" so as to not date it when it is recycled for audiences through the years.
Listen closely, and you’ll recognize that 5:08-5:29 samples Scott Joplin’s iconic “Maple Leaf Rag”, as played in the classic Mickey Mouse cartoon, “The Whoopee Party” (1932).

That was when Disney knew what to do.

I still have my embroidered gold ears from the 50th
You’re almost exactly two months older than me (October 6, 2000)
This was my all-time fav fireworks.

Gina Lynn yeah but fans really liked the show. So they had to bring it back.

I like how this fireworks show is playing everything from each location of the park, I wonder how it would be if Galaxy's Edge already existed.

"Remember... Dreams Come True" has sadly been retired as of 2019. I hope it returns in the future though!

It says "in 1955". I thought for the 50th they said "50 years ago"? Unless I'm thinking wrong here
Jon Beer I think it’s saying what year Disneyland was established
It did say "50 years ago" during the 50th anniversary, they changed it later so it wasn't outdated.
@@amandacollishaw563 But this version was from 2005, still during the 50th
