EdgyExposed I’m also 13, and when it comes to making suits, I recommend getting the materials first and working from there. If your parents are super opposed to the idea of fursuits, say that you’re just making a cosplay or a Halloween costume. My first head, I created it by taking the skin off of an animotion mask I bought for the previous Halloween. I sculpted it up, and finished it recently. I honestly doubt I’ll get much taller because of my genetics (which sucks since I’m teeny af), so I’m not too worried about outgrowing a full suit, but I’m probably going to refrain from making it a full suit just to be sure.

As for getting the materials, I have nothing to get it from 😂😂 but I do have some money so I could buy some. I was pretty lonely.I had no friends but through UA-cam I'm able to watch other Furs like you Stormi and I learned how big this fandom was because over the next couple of months I had made friends with and met a lot of other Furrys. So thank you for giving me confidence to to make friends.🐶🐶🐶

I'm a younger furry aswell. (17) And only recently got into the fandom. I was always aware of the 18+ side of the community, but I knew every fandom has it. I just didn't go into the community until recently since at the time I was like 7. (I got into the fandom since I found about fursuits and sonic) People do need to understand that every fandom has an adult side, no matter what you do. When it comes to the furry fandom, I find them very accepting and friendly! I love talking to the community and meeting new people who have similar interests with me. I just find the furry community to be misunderstood, By a lot. Every fandom always has that one person that's into the adult things. But just because a few people are, doesn't mean the entire fandom is into that kind of thing. I'm currently working with a fursuiter, learning how to make fursuits to help make a bit more money for my school lunches. Currently, i'm helping draw references for fursuits or for people that need references of there fursonas! For people that are doing research into the community, try talking to them! Get to know them! Trust me, you won't regret it. There some of the nicest accepting people you'll ever meet!

Im really glad this is a video!! Im 15, I've been in the fandom for 4 years at this point and am really glad to see others getting interested in it! I've met some really great people throughout the time I've been in this fandom, and it's amazing what people can do, I really am astounded at a lot of the things they can make. Some advice I'd give to furries younger than me is: just be yourself! Do what you love, post about what interests you! Being in the furry fandom is not what everyone does all the time, its perfectly okay to not be too involved. Remember that fandoms are EXPANSIVE, huge, and you have a chance to meet people who will enjoy you, or you will meet people who do not. Dont let that discourage you though! Just keep being you and things will continue on well. Dont expect to be famous in this fandom either; many people including myself have had this dream that if you're a furry, you deserve to be a popufur! Please Please PLEASE do not let this be the only reason for you joining the fandom. Being popular takes work and effort and it's not an overnight thing! Having an expectation that you'll be a celebrity will hurt your experience if that's all you're after -- do it for your own fun! Having genuine interest and love for this instead of expectations will go a long long way. Be accepting towards people and be kind, after all, were all here for one thing.
I am a yong fur coming up on 13. My family is amazing, and got me a fursuit and my sister (my favorite artist she’s amazing) gave me some art lessons and badges. They always make an effort to take me to cons and events. I am so lucky to have a family that supports me and the fandom.
Must be nice, my family isn't mean in any way but they just don't interact with me that much, they think my Xbox brings me happiness when its really when I'm playing with a friend, I force a smile on my face when they come in my room just to look like im having fun, all I do is pretend so I don't hurt them I've never been honest with anyone because if I did I could hurt their feelings. I always act the way they want me to, I don't want to dissapoint him but I can't be honest with them if I know they would not support me.

I like the starting skit of that video as it’s funny. Besides Stormi, you are spot on about the topic on what young furries are like. Another way also to look for free stuff is enter raffles artists sometimes organise on social media. You may not win as it is randomised but who knows. And as a youtuber, I too like to keep my content PG rated. Because I know the majority of my audience is under 18 as well. And cheers to address this issue that furcons in some countries are only 18+ to attend. It’s nothing personal against young furs. But that is exactly the reason you said.

I'm a young fur (13) and I made my own fursuit. It taught me some very valuable lessons, I feel much more obligated to take care of it and future fursuits not only because of how hard I worked on it but I realize how much of a luxury item fursuits are, it makes it so much easier to respect fursuit makers and their prices seeing how hard they are to make. It also showed me that if you want something you have to work for it. It also showed me not to take advantage of fursuits and to respect them. I'm glad I made my own, he may not be perfect but I have a very strong connection to him, he's my baby 🥰
I can't wait to be able to be more in the fandom! I am 13 and am planning on making an ear headband, paws, and tail of my fursona! when I was very first introduced to the fandom I took art from google and used it as my background for my pc and phone, as well as showing and giving it to my friends. Now I only do that with my own art.
For young fur artists! I recommend you attempt to draw your character(s) in multiple peoples styles! It can help you find aspects of that persons style you like and you can use it for your own!

One time I spent about 3 nights staying up scared I was gonna get fined or something for using someone’s art... I knew it was bad.... but I couldn’t draw.. But my current pfp, I personally drew myself.
I've been in the fandom for almost five years and I'm glad that I didn't listen to haters before joining. My friends told me that furries were all bad, but I decided that it's unfair to assume that. I looked up "what's a furry" and after watching some of Rainy Chaos' videos, I decided that by definition, I was a furry so I joined. Since I was a young fur, people told me to wait because the fandom is super sexual, but I told them that every fandom has a sexual side and they didn't tell me to not join any other fandoms.
I think it really doesn’t matter what age you are, both younger furs and greymuzzles are welcome in my book, as well as literally anyone else who classifies themself as a furry!

Typically as long as it is for personal use, yes. If that image is for sale, however, likely no. If in doubt ask. Any creator that posts their work on-line and would have an issue with such likely has a way to contact them for commissions and inquiries. This goes for non-furry stuff too.

Depends on alot, when i made my suit i did head slits that were slightly thicher then the ears and made the ears somewhat thin and thicker once it was past the slit and didnt have it glued in, sorry if im not making much sense.
I'm happy that you say that the fandom is not 100% pervy because to be honnest ive quitted the fandom for like 3 years because i saw nsfw everywhere and it made me so cringy and unsafe but ive missed a lot of fun since ive always loved the clean side of the furry fandom. I like the starting skit of that video as it’s funny. Besides Stormi, you are spot on about the topic on what young furries are like. Another way also to look for free stuff is enter raffles artists sometimes organise on social media. You may not win as it is randomised but who knows. And as a youtuber, I too like to keep my content PG rated. Because I know the majority of my audience is under 18 as well. And cheers to address this issue that furcons in some countries are only 18+ to attend. It’s nothing personal against young furs. But that is exactly the reason you said.

I'm a young fur (13) and I made my own fursuit. It taught me some very valuable lessons, I feel much more obligated to take care of it and future fursuits not only because of how hard I worked on it but I realize how much of a luxury item fursuits are, it makes it so much easier to respect fursuit makers and their prices seeing how hard they are to make. It also showed me that if you want something you have to work for it. It also showed me not to take advantage of fursuits and to respect them. I'm glad I made my own, he may not be perfect but I have a very strong connection to him, he's my baby 🥰

I am 13 and am planning on making an ear headband, paws, and tail of my fursona! when I was very first introduced to the fandom I took art from google and used it as my background for my pc and phone, as well as showing and giving it to my friends. Now I only do that with my own art.
For young fur artists! I recommend you attempt to draw your character(s) in multiple peoples styles! It can help you find aspects of that persons style you like and you can use it for your own!

I've been in the fandom for almost five years and I'm glad that I didn't listen to haters before joining. My friends told me that furries were all bad, but I decided that it's unfair to assume that. I looked up "what's a furry" and after watching some of Rainy Chaos' videos, I decided that by definition, I was a furry so I joined. Since I was a young fur, people told me to wait because the fandom is super sexual, but I told them that every fandom has a sexual side and they didn't tell me to not join any other fandoms.

I think it really doesn’t matter what age you are, both younger furs and greymuzzles are welcome in my book, as well as literally anyone else who classifies themself as a furry!
The whole copyright infringement thing is the reason why I use my own art or art I commissioned on Amino as profile pictures on social media. An example of my own art as my profile picture is my UA-cam profile picture and an example of art I commissioned as my profile picture is my JSaB Amino profile picture uwu
Also, when I use commissioned art as my profile picture (like the previous JSaB Amino example), I always credit the artist in my bio by linking their profile :D (I is gud 13 year old)

Typically as long as it is for personal use, yes. If that image is for sale, however, likely no. If in doubt ask. Any creator that posts their work on-line and would have an issue with such likely has a way to contact them for commissions and inquiries. This goes for non-furry stuff too.

Depends on alot, when i made my suit i did head slits that were slightly thicher then the ears and made the ears somewhat thin and thicker once it was past the slit and didnt have it glued in, sorry if im not making much sense.

I remember when pocari did a video on the internet profile thing, I changed my profile pic immediately, even though it wasn't anyone's sona, just a plain red wolf that I looked up on Google, and drew a picture of one of my sonas with a pencil and paper. So if you see someone with a picture of a sona that isn't theirs, just inform them of it, don't yell...plz.
