  • Hey, everyone! It's Evan here with a new video that dives into a topic a lot of you have been curious about: how introverts can find success in a world that seems tailored for the extroverted. Inspired by a question from Richard, one of our awesome Facebook fans, we're tackling the challenges introverts face, especially when it comes to networking and socializing in our increasingly social world. If you've ever felt like your introverted nature was a barrier to your success, this video is for you. We're exploring the ways that introverts, just like me, can leverage their passions and strengths to achieve success without having to change who they are.
    In this video, we'll share personal insights and practical tips for introverts looking to make their mark. We discuss the importance of following your passion, a universal truth for both introverts and extroverts, and delve into how doing what you love is the cornerstone of any successful endeavor. We also talk about the power of building a supportive team to complement your skills and help bring your vision to life. Whether you're launching a company or working on a personal project, understanding that success is a team effort can be a game changer. Plus, I share a bit of my journey, how I've evolved over the years, and how embracing my introverted nature has been key to connecting with all of you.
    Lastly, we focus on leveraging your strengths and finding the right medium to express your passion. From making videos to writing blog posts or crafting engaging social media content, we discuss how to make your voice heard and your presence felt in a way that resonates with who you are. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a creator, or someone with a message to share, this video is packed with advice on how to shine as an introvert. Remember, success is not reserved for the loudest in the room but for those who stay true to themselves and their passions. Thanks for watching, and don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more content like this. Your support means the world to me. See you in the next video!

    "Hi Evan. I love your videos and the fact that you give so much inspiration and help! For free! Wow! I appreciate that a lot!
    Evan, I need an advice from you because you know what you are talking about. To be successful these days means to do all kinds of (social) networking, because it isn't about the product so much, but people need to feel passion -as you have said, and I agree. But I am sure you know that for an introvert it is't easy to be that outgoing. And I am sure there are a lot of introverts with passion for something out there who want to be successful too. So what would you recommend to them to be successful?
    Thank you so much! I appreciate your help Evan.
    Richard"

    Evan, I'm an introvert. I always suggest introverts not bothering with "social networking" and instead they go with "value networking". Us introverts tend to place a strong value on deeper more meaningful relationships, which can be beneficial to us in the long run if we treat them properly. I might only have 10 friends, but god damn they are the best 10 friends ever and my extrovert friends who have hundreds won't ever say the same.
    Also, corner people unite, you know who you are, go to any conference, party, gathering larger and ten and you'll find someone hiding in a corner. That's the person to get to know as he/she is either a raging introvert or a drug dealer. Both ways you win in the long run. hur hur hur.

    Hi Evan, extraversion is a standard, so "How introverts can be successful" instead of "how to heal your introversion" truly makes a difference for people like me who though for more than 20 years that introversion was a "illness". Something to heal BEFORE launching a business. When you put all your power to make effort to be what you are not, you have no energy left to build something. That's why I love your videos, you put looks into the future.

    Hi I'm a new subscriber from Philippines.
    I would like to thank you for this video because it's the first time I got some sort of affirmation.
    I am an introvert but I just recently discovered it when I needed to take a personality test for online schooling. All the while I thought I am weird cuz nobody understands me. But now, when I watched this video I was really moved.
    I am not shy, but I get too stressed and exhausted when I spend lots of time talking with people who doesn't know the value of my quiet time.
    I am a language translator at a company but since my bones are breaking, I got permission to work from home temporarily. But since everything around me is not an "introvert-friendly environment", oftentimes I need to burry all my thoughts, hurts inside my heart. People expects too much from me cuz my mom is an evangelizer. When I'm down and try to hide in my room, people call so frequent or comes to my room and invade me cuz they thought they are making me happy, but that is exactly what makes me drained.
    I can compose song but I have not developed my small talent in music because no one around me supports my idea. They think music is just a hobby, not for living.
    Few years ago, I tried to upload my songs in UA-cam but since I don't have skills to edit, it did not work out and ended up deleting my videos and channel.
    Now, I got illness and I could no longer stand or walk alone, my throat is also affected by my chronic illness so my voice is no longer clear as before.
    I rely to my mom who is also an introvert but compared to me she has strong personality.
    And because of that, whenever I get upset with my work, she says things like "Oh, why are you so affected? Don't be too sensitive or else you will never be successful in life. You gotta break your walls and come out from your shell! Come on! You need to be an adult! ", Over and over again which makes me feel worst.
    I am not happy with my translation job because my eyes get tired reading and reading boring things and yet even if I finish my task, my income is the same. I don't feel accomplished and I am not inspired at all. But I got to do this because I am the bread winner now. So I need to stay long in the toilet every morning just to recollect and convince myself that I need to work or else I cannot buy my medicines etc.
    I am so sorry for my very long message 😥
    I just needed to express it somewhere because it's toooo heavy in my heart.
    If you have any advice what is best for me to do, I would really appreciate to hear it.
    Thank you.
    More power!

      It feels a little strange that the majority consider it to be introvert, as a kind of disability. We are all different and have a talent in our own way. do not let the norm beat you out.
      As introverts, we are more detail orientated and we don't care for meaningless smalltalk. Accept Who you are and work with your strengths instead of trying to be someone else. The World needs us thoughtful people. Einstein, Bill Gates, Elon musk, John Williams, noel Gallagher etc.. are all introverts.

    Bill Gates on introvert entrepreneurs: "Well, I think introverts can do quite well...if you come up with something, if you want to hire people, get them excited, build a company around that idea, you better learn what extroverts do, you better hire some extroverts, like Steve Ballmer I would claim as an extrovert, and tap into both sets of skills in order to have a company that thrives both as in deep thinking and building teams and going out into the world to sell those ideas." www.lifehacker.com.au/2013/05/bill-gates-how-to-succeed-as-an-introvert/

    I'm an introvert, and I believe that I can be a better version of myself. I've been contemplating lately of what career path I should take. I like to create with my hands, I know I can be creative & make beautiful things. I am thinking of pursuing a degree in Design but caught between a course in the medical field which accdg. to facts would give me a better chance of being employed & good salary in the city where I live. That's just my belief, based on what I read online. I know that reality is just a perception. I'm still confused of the decisions that I have to make. I've been watching your videos to motivate me to follow my passion. I'm not there yet. I'm hoping I will have the courage to just choose something without hesitations. You're input is highly appreciated. Thank you for all of your inspirational videos.

    im an introvert myself. It’s hard living in a society full of noisy people. The only difference in opinion I have is this. People say follow your passion ok I get it but some people haven’t found their passion yet. So saying follow your passion isn’t such a strong suggestion. There’s plenty of people who have no real passion for what their doing and their still successful. So following your passion is not the real key for a lot of people. In my humble opinion it’s find out what your good at doing and let that lead you to what your passion is. It’s not follow your passion. Find out what your good at then later y’all find out what your passionate about. Many people don’t know what their passionate about. So people get confused and lost because they haven’t discovered their passion. Thanks. I thought to share my thoughts and help people that haven’t discover their passion yet. Thanks again!

      Ted Martin since you are a believer when you see someone remember that God created that person just like He created you and God made a plan for you ( Jeremiah 29:11)before you were born for good and for a future and a hope. I find that makes me feel comfortable with someone, and have compassion and honor for them because God created them. I think you would like watching Joseph Prince sermons on UA-cam. You will learn how to see things the way God does and how much He loves you and how He created everyone with their own set of gifts and talents.

Following your passion is really the key to make it happen because it is something that you truly love doing.     As a istp I used systems and methods to obtain economic freedom;
    #1. Never compete always create!
    #2. Always stay upwardly mobile.
    #3. Move to where money is being made and being spent!
    #4. No romantic entanglements, no children, no pets, no debts, NO EXCUSES!
    #5. Always remember you can always make more money, but you can never make anymore life, so spend your life wisely!

    I would say do things that put you into very awkward and uncomfortable situations daily. Your confidence goes up fear goes down, and when a job quotes you their number, don't even call them back to say no. It's working for me, to build courage, because that's really what was lost when I was bullied at school and sat alone at lunch every day. I was scared my peers would outcast me to the floor next! Those assholes, honestly let's see them try that now that were adults... I might say, "Parking lot, 5 minutes."

    It's interesting I talked to you on Instagram Live a couple of weeks ago and then I found this video. This video actually helped a lot because I am introverted salesperson that likes to do videos and public speaking. It was good advice for me to find a way to be more passionate in my videos because it doesn't come naturally.

    So if someone is an extrovert, he or she doesn't need to be passionate? Very misleading video.

    • @AlenMayer
      @AlenMayer 9 років тому

      ***** Sure I did. As an author of 3 books about introverts (Selling for Introverts, Introverts in Business and Cold Calling for Introverts), I am appealed with a lack of depth in your video. What you said about introverts in point 1, it can be said for extroverts too. I think you need to go deeper.

    • @IsmailKonate
      @IsmailKonate 9 років тому +2

      Alen Mayer I'm glad that you have found an opportunity to talk about your books. I'm an introvert and I totally recognized myself in this video and it helps me to be focused on my strengh. Sorry but no matter your talent, expertise and number of books written, you can't decide for me that this video is misleading for me. To go "deeper" means to buy your books to discover the true truth, isn't it ?

    • @ryzeonline
      @ryzeonline 9 років тому +1

      Richard asked for help being outgoing. Evan advised tapping into passions, letting others do tasks that aren't preferred, and focusing on strengths. Seems pretty simple to me, and it helped Ismail Konaté :)
      Sounds like someone could use a giant hug! So... (HUG!)

    • @IsmailKonate
      @IsmailKonate 9 років тому

      As an introvert, I'm sometimes considered as someone who don't have passion just because I do not express it. To not dance in a concert doesn't mean that I don't appreciate the show, it doesn't mean either that extraverts DOESN'T have to dance. This video leads us to find a way to show off our passion through things we are good at. And we are good at what we practice and do regularly ; those doings are the evidence of our passion. That's what I've learn from me on this video as I didn't read the title only.
