i just finished this and i said the same exact thing.. my daughter has watched me play since i started with Six and she started crying her eyes out :(

At the first game I'm so glad that Six was actually made it alive till the end.... But after following all 3 DLCs, I thought that this Boy is also deserve to live.. I mean, look at how far he's gone! He escaped and killed the Granny, been captured by the Janitor and escaped again! made friends with Nomes (I love that DLC
Putri Amelia I thought the boy turned into the Sausage that Six didn’t eat. But that wouldn’t be true, since the only time children are made into sausages are when they’re captured by Long Arm Larry or the Chef. With the Lady she probably makes them into Nomes and makes them slaves to the Maw. But yes still sad ending.

@@Xenonic2 Yeah, I feel like Seven should've lived and escaped together with Six. If only Seven got out the same time as Six, they both would've probably meet each other and then work together as well on escaping The Maw. Like seriously, I think Six and Seven are one of the children who actually knows they have a chance at successfully escaping, and for Six, it did happen successfully for her.
Hoenn4Ever the only reason six was able to escape was thanks to the boy, when she ate him she found out what he knew about the lady, his death was necessary
Even if he died his sacrifice of giving Six his knowledge of the lady will not be forgotten....
And if he did somehow miraculously came back to life whatsoever.
Then-
For me, the Runaway Kid looked more protagonist and Six more antagonistitc.
Yea, since little nightmares 2 is a prequel and six drops mono she is the antagonist in the game, it even says it

@@brnk2 the gameplay is good. Perfect balance between difficult and easy, and the depth might make it even more difficult. This game is quite realistic when it comes to movements, thatˋs why amny people would say that the character you play as, move so slowly

At the very least, that boy was put out of his misery being stuck as a nome. That said, a sad and painful ending for him. What an interesting game.
At least he saved Six's life from hunger...

@@janphilipjimenez4158 There is a theory saying that Six got mad at Seven for offering her a sausage because Six has actually went to the Kitchen before and knows what the sausage is made of, which is from human meat, possibly children's. That's why Six ate Seven, she's mad at the audacity of Seven offering her a sausage, but it's all a misconception since Seven never went to the Kitchen, he fell while trying to break free and hanging on to the bag. Then again, I think this theory makes sense in my opinion.
So that means all of the gnomes where kids once!

Phoenix I’m sorry what- Six didn’t use them she couldn’t control her hunger, not to mention- The food that they tried to give her is children meat and she would’ve rather eaten the nome than eaten another child .
I knew this game would shock me, but I never thought it would make me sad...
I actually liked Runaway kid, so to see him go through all that crap only to die at the hands of that little demon pisses me off. It's so unfair
His journey seemed way tougher and terrifying too if you ask me, I mean just think about those little ... Tengus?

At first I was with shits and giggles saying "ha, this is a cool Alan wake gameplay" then it hit me at the end .

What did you guys honestly expect? The description said in the very beginning of all this: *"The Final Chapter will decide the fate of the Runaway Kid."* Nothing about those words encouraged that the Kid was going to make it. Now granted, the ending did shock me, who wouldn't be? But I also knew that it would be a miracle if he got out. These chapters were designed to fill in the plot holes of the Maw. But it never said we would get another Happy Ending in the process (if you could call the Main Story ending "happy").

This was an awesome yet scary ending to the DLC, The music fits so well.
I love how everything ties into each other, it just shows how much of a masterpiece this game is.
Why did I actually predicted he was the gnome that got eaten by six when the boy was turned into one and appeared in the guest's area

I happen to be a little curious about something in this game. The ending was indeed sad but then I got to thinking, how come he never got hungry himself? He’d been on the boat for what feels like forever. How come nomes don’t eat? That’s when it hit me. The boat isn’t actually all that bad. Think of the maw as a boat full of family that keep things like sixx from existing. Along the way they gained dark unnatural powers. And that would make sixx the bad guy. She eats everyone. And this little boy, like all the rest of nomes is stuck in a terror dome so to speak of cannablistic guardians who eat what they’re suppose to be stopping or catching. Instead the nomes being souls of kids signifies the darkness not being within them but instead it becoming they’re physical bodies. And when consumed in turn makes you a little less human.
All in all this ending is the weirdest to me. This wasn’t about the boy being eating. This was what the fans wanted. To see her face. And you did exactly that but a lot of people didn’t expect the price to be being eaten. And I’m the world they live in; that shit happens pretty often which is why you walked past it as a Nome before being eating. They lined that runaway kid up to see how he would be killed.
The story is a great horror that is as old as time. And the lesson to learn from this game was obvious. In the dark lies a mystery of untold evil. There will always be someone more evil then the last but the person you put your faith in will be the most evil in the dark.

The ending made me cry so hard, damn Little Nightmares is a game that should be appreciated every year. Cry every time ;o;

What hurts the most is that the difference between the little boy and the rain coat girl is that the little boy had empathy and cared for the nomes which would help him in return. Even when he turned into a nome, he still cling onto kindness (the sausage). He could’ve at least lived amongst the nomes.
When the camera pans out and fades to black while he stares at the sausage is probably the most soul-crushing moment in the entire game. Not even when Six eats him, just knowing the fate that awaits him when we all know now that he is just another innocent victim who was trying to escape that underwater prison.
It's over so soon? 😢 Dang Seven, hate to have seen you go out like that 😔

I spent 30 minutes stuck at the beginning. I would never have thought that you could put the books on the shelf.
This ending is so fucking sad! I did not expect it!! I can't believe that after overcoming so many obstacles, Seven hasn't managed to escape. I literally cried :(

I played this on a laptop with major lag issues ( because of stupid intel graphics card ) and had to put the resolution to 640x320! It had horrible graphics and could barely see anything but at least it got rid of the lag, so glad I managed to finish the full game + the DLCs

He didn't die in vain, six killed the lady at the end because of him. Its not a black and white story. Hunger,(which is what it was originally gonna be called) overcame her close to the end, and she just attacked. Remember she was starving. She had her reasons,whatever they were,but also I think she wanted vengeance too,which she got in the end,and did it without mercy. But,freed the kids and Nome's in the end too. I guess its bittersweet,but its not always nice in endings. Great game and story. Hopefully,they'll continue this universe.
Well how bout Mr.Runaway Kid didnt rescue Ms.Six in the cage in the 2nd dlc
@@rambutaneater Six didn't come back to help anyone in their cages either, and as soon as runaway kid was dragged away by the janitor in his cage six pushed her cage down and escaped. So runaway kid couldnt have rescued six because six saved her self moments after runaway kid was taken away.
she did kill the lady only to become the next lady and gain control to the maw
so, when the next game come the player who love the KID and hate SIX bcuz eating the boy may have they revenge on the last boss which is SIX

Then six ate him (probably for the best) because if six didn't eat him she/he wouldn't know the weakness of that white masked girl. IDK I just found a video that explains the story XD

I'm glad the final part has finally been released after what feels 800 years. But I didn't like the ending much, so we went through all of that shit just to be a fucking gnome. At least he dies because being a gnome is a fate far worse than death. Also thanks for showing where all the bottles are located but do you know how to get the other trophy?

He was so kind to help her out but at least she got revenge for him in a sick, twisted, and selfish way after eating him...right? At the same time I like the way he died, is that strange? If he lived forever as a gnome that'd be shitty but he remains innocent cause the last thing he did was offer her food when she was hungry. Yet that girl killing everyone and walking out into the light is disturbing because it looks like she became the manifestation of death and escaped her prison to the outside world which means she's free. Damn, one act of kindness in a cruel world is more depressing rather than heroic.

You know what, you did me dirty devs. This was my favorite game because of six's badassness but I had a special place in my heart for the runaway boy also and nearing the end I had a creeping sense of premonition that the gnome who gave six the sausage in the first game might be the boy but I never thought it to come true. It's been a while since a game did me dirty and gave me a sense of denial like that. I'm still recovering, so I'm going to try not to fume too much here, but in price for the twist and turn, this game is still a solid 10 out of 10. Let me just finish wiping away the sweats from my eyes. He saved six twice, first with the bread, next with the sausage, except it wasn't the sausage, it was himself. I was wondering why I didn't see him at the end of the first game. This was why. I'm really glad I didn't read the comments while I was watching though, the ending hit me harder because I didn't. I leave a longer comment because I love this series that much, and I hope they make a sequel to this also, since there seems to be something near the end hinting that.
Radical Rabbit I dont think the runaway boy was the one that gave Six the bread, there are other children, like the girl you see in the first DLC with the flashlight, and the one that the Janitor picks up in the same DLC.

The shadow creatures is a pain, i beat janitor, granny and the final boss with no problem, the final boss from main game take me 1 trial only but that shadow when it suddenly charge at me i freak out... The light did not stun them...
