To say that I have become obsessed with pottery might be an understatement. There is something about that really has me laser focused. I want to learn all the pottery things and improve more and more! Anyways, if you like pottery my guild is having a show on May 4th and 5th it's in north Fort Collins and there is going to be so much cool stuff, you should definitely come by and check out all the work! Plus you get to see a bit of guild at the same time. Oh and if you're local to Fort Collins and looking for a fun Summer activity, they have a summer session of classes coming up! You can find more information at Nocopottersguild.org
A little about this wheel. I bought this last year on Amazon for $109 after I realized how many hours I was going to need to practice pottery to get better at it and wanted to be able to throw at home if the whim struck in addition to at the guild. I chose this one because it had fast shipping and I am impatient. I also chose this after looking at the good wheels and realizing I wasn't ready to spend over $1,000 on a wheel when I had access to so many good wheels at the guild. Is it the best wheel, nope. Was it worth $100 I think so. You do have to be a bit more patient with your pieces though since it doesn't fit standard bats and the speed control takes a bit of getting used to. I have thrown lumps of clay up to about 7lbs on this. Any bigger than that it the wheel gets a bit overwhelmed.

Anyways, hope to see you at the show!
My close friend just won The Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down - it was held in Vancouver and aired on TV in March of this year. It was so exciting to see her creations and to see her win the title of the first Throw Down in Canada! If Colorado wasn’t so far from Manitoba I’d come and buy one of your pots for clean and dirty water!
OMG that's so exciting!!! I bet that was a blast to watch!
I would love one of your watercolor cups, so creative and useful. Wish I was in Colorado
Wow, those toads are awesome! You are so multi-talented!
I love the toads and watercolor cups!!
I LOVE the double cups! I’ll have to search for some here.
This is so good, what a wonderful catch up ☺☺
Your so talented. I’ve only tried pottery in high school it was fun.
Now I wanna go to northern Colorado! But I’m in New York womp womp. But anyway, your show sounds really cool! I love those double water cups! I hope you sell a lot! ❤
Thank you so much!!!
I so wish I could go! I've looked at watercolor cup sets on Etsy, but yours are so much cuter! Love that they are connected and vary in height. Best wishes for a great show!
Thank you! We scrubbed the guild yesterday to get ready for the show 😅
Omgosh Rebel..make some ceramic pallets even small ones..I would buy one
Ooo maybe 🤔 Definitely wouldn't be ready for this show though.
Ugh SO cool. I haven't done pottery since the art room in high school. I feel like the most prohibitive thing for many of us for getting into pottery at home, though, is not necessarily the wheel, but rather the kiln! Where/how do you fire your pieces?
I can fire them at the guild I’m a part of, they have 4 kilns.
... and then let it dry or make it dry.... 🤣
🤣
I also love the double water cups, how do I get my hands on a set?
If you’re able to come to the show, I’ll have them there!
I need a TOAD. Seriously. I’m not anywhere near Colorado. How can I get one? Please. My life is not complete without a toad!❤
Shipping pottery is pretty intimidating 😅 but I might think about doing limited drops of these kinds of things down the line.
