I've been throwing a 7,4 MH MF St Croix for years for bladed jigs but over the yrs it's become one of my favorites and I throw everything from spinner baits to square bills etc! I have 3 of that same rods these days!

That 5 Ft 6” pistol grip was a bad mofo back in the day day I remember around 93. Dad took me to a sporting good store and said I could get any rod I wanted for my decent report card. 5 ft 6 falcon MH it was lol. Good times. Abu Garcia 5500’ on it
Between a 7’1-7’4 MHF. That’s got me covered for lipless, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, jigs/Texas rig. Magdraft, topwaters….basically a do it all combo

Crap! If I had known you were speaking of length,power,& taper I’d have guessed a 7’3 MH. My do-all rod is actually a 7’3 MH/f as well. Just something about that rod that does it for me. My jig & worm rods have always been 7’3’s. Great vid bud!

Kyle and Ms Hunter, glad to have you back on the videos. My fishing friends always wanted to know why I spent so much money on my equipment. I explained that I wanted the best in order to fish my best. That included not only rods and reels but also line, hooks and lures to get all variables on my side. Course these guys duck hunt with Bennilies, one of the most expensive shotguns and I turn the expensive right back on them.

Boat flipped a 2 lb brown fish on a Fate composite that was less than 24 hours old . Broke 8 inches of the tip off . Common problem , or just a fluke ?
Sounds like a fluke. Probably damaged in shipping at some point

Did you mention the action? I missed it if you did. I’ve been a bass fisherman over 50 years now and I’d pick a 7’4” MH Mod Fast for my only rod if I had to catch fish to survive.
