I love all your new equipment! My style of fishing is a lot like yours and a lot of average fisherman don’t understand that speed can really work to your advantage. You making sure everything is where you want it to make you more efficient. To me that is everything while on the water. No wasted movements equals more fish! He is gonna blow that truck up with some diaper damaging bombs and break it in big time. Your gonna need that fancy livewell pump out hose to clean him up. You’ll be glad you got the ikon on the Northern swing😉 After watching a few vids on the iKon I think they should take off that flare at the end of the rod box. Other than that, I see nothing to upgrade or change. Darn impressive boat. I’ve owned a Tacoma, Tundra, and currently a Highlander and Camry. 600k miles of trouble-free ownership. And you can earn extra cash at tourneys too, right!?

With you skipping and pitching so much, I would think some of these boats that have the trolling motor foot pedal setback so far would be quite challenging!
For me, I like to be as far up as absolutely possible with nothing in my way to knock my rod on.

Congrats man… the problem people fail to see is this boat is 115-140k based on rigging…when it’s time to sell it’s still gone be a 95k plus boat…..the resale is gonna kill ikons sales in 2025-2026 watch…average consumers not gonna pay that especially for a slow boat

Yeah I believe the 20ft icon can reach 70 mph. I saw a guy that is a guide near me in Florida and he works with ikon chuck pippen. He shot a video of him doing 69 so I'm pretty sure u can get one more mph out of it

If u fish w trolling motor on 10 I never see u fishing that fast in any of your videos...u need to post a true unedited practice day that's what I wanna see in 2024 bro! I know that that's a big diff between a weekend guy and a pro is how fast u cover water so I would like to see full on practice mode the speech, how much water a pro actually covers, I wanna see you graphing just basically a full on practice day everything u can possibly show in one or few long videos. I can promise u it will get watched. If we all can't actually fish w u atleast put it on video so we can actually see what it takes. It's my biggest problem not covering enuff water so I'm making myself not stay long long in areas just keep moving until I find active fish. I really think that most of us don't realize how fast an how much water y'all cover in a tx day so plz do some videos on this.
