OK. Townie here. Lolita Back Bay is a hard to find GREAT FIND on Dartmouth Street in Copley. Love this place! So glad you found it! Across from Sail Loft is La Mangia Calamari (The Daily Catch) is quite good. Best calamari I’ve ever had. UOH can be avoided if at all possible IMHO.
Thanks for the comment! I was quite impressed with Lolita Back Bay. La Mangia Calamari sounds really good. I'll have to try it on my next trip there. I can definitely understand that about UOH - the food was pretty good, but I've had better seafood elsewhere in Boston. The history is definitely a highlight which is why I wanted to try it for myself. I did really enjoy the clam chowder, but the chowder at the Boston Sail Loft is still my favorite. $35. 😮 That’s certainly a splurge. But I still order. It looked amazing. I’ve only had clam chowder in can and at Red Lobster. 😂 But I’ve never been to the New England area. I’d definitely get that when there. All these restaurants looked really good. Thanks for sharing. 😊
It is worth it though when it is packed full of lobster and tastes fresh! I'm so glad I went there! The clam chowder in New England is the best. I refuse to get any back home in Michigan because it isn't the same, lol! Thanks for watching!
Yeah $35 isn't cheap but that's close to fair market value in Boston currently, and Yankee Lobster gives you more lobster meat than some other places will.
