Outstanding video. Very rare to see high quality food analysis in the Boston area. The clam chowder looks so good that I would actually fly into Boston for it. I do agree with Madison about Udon. It can be deceptively good and it’s often underestimated.
Thanks for this vid showcasing some great places in Boston😊Feedback from this Bostonian: Sarma’s def one of the best bites in town, only tourists go to the Sail Loft, Modern Pastry’s an institution but also overrun with tourists, the Japanese food mall’s also a special institution and was there before Lesley moved into the building (they’re not affiliated), Tatte’s trendy and has some decent offerings but there are better bakeries in town, and the pronunciation’s off on challah and hummus. Otherwise, not a bad tour. I saw someone else’s comment about enjoying your metabolism and second that!
Thank you for posting this video! Peach Farm, Tea-Do, Yume Ga Arukara, Yume Wu Katara are some of my favorite places. I don't venture too much into the North End but Neptune Oyster is definitely a place to try. Get there early, line can be intimidating (walk ins, no reservations.) Then I visit the haymarket after Neptune for some desserts. Some other places, Smith and Wollinsky, Trade, and James Hook & Co. I believe there is a Mike and Pattys outpost in the High Street Place Food Hall. Hotels I stay at that is near all these places is either Intercontinental or the Boston Harbor Hotel. Boston is one of my favorite destinations!
My go-to craving treat, over 30 years ago now when I lived in PDX [shitshow😢now] I'd order the chowder and a salad with bleu cheese dressing..., It always came with a chunk of crispy baguette. This, all for a very nice price, it was my solace for very personal reasons. With peace and love.... Choose wisely, treat kindly when it comes to your loves. Wishing all things wonderful for you❤❤❤❤😊
Somerville/cambridge are not Boston. You legit are risking your life by saying that 🤣 the amount of people that get mad at that is crazy! Cute video, glad you made it!
As a 5-year resident of Union Square in Somerville, where many of the best restaurants are, I couldn’t agree more! And the restaurants just keep getting better. There’s a brand new T stop on the green line now so it’s super easy to get to from Boston. Naturally my rent went up but that’s ok. It’s worth it, and it’s not like it’s less expensive in Boston or Cambridge. Can’t convince myself to move anywhere else yet… Life is too good here! 🥂
I don't know how you guys eat so much and manage to maintain your figures! Maybe you just eat lighter for the next few days. Or I guess if you just take a few bites of everything and do not finish it, maybe it does not add up to more then 2000 calories per day. Sometimes it looks like you are eating 3000/4000 calories, but like I said, if you are just taking a few bites of this, a few bites of that, but not really finishing the appetizer, entree, or dessert then maybe it is not that bad. But anyway, you guys do a really great job and I really enjoy your content.
My notes no one asked for. But that's what you get when you come to Boston. Strong, unrequested opinions. Flour > Tatte Bagelsaurus is overrated Oleana>Sarma Sail Loft is a really random and arbitrary choice for chowder.
Those BABKAS look CRAZY GOOD! Thanks for this amazing food tour.

So happy you enjoyed it!! Loved finding the yummy food there
As a Bostonian, there are so any great restaurants here. We always try and go to a new place.
You guys are adorable. Enjoy having a metabolism 🤣 Love how you described the tastes, saves me the calories.
Aww thank you!!!
The Sarma fried chicken lady got to you as well!😂
Eat like this while you’re young!😅
Knew the "Boston" scene was covered way too well 😊 Sara you are vastly appreciated.

Looks amazing. If I remember correctly Madison said the Sisters are noodle girls.

What do you guys do with the leftovers? Cuz there is no way you guys eat all that! lol 😅
I swear all the good eats are in Somerville 😩
Yume Ga Arukara has a location in pier 4 (near seaport district) now.

They probably only eat some of it and take the rest home as leftovers.

Flour > Tatte
Bagelsaurus is overrated
Oleana>Sarma
