Great demonstration and presentation. I was surprised to hear you say that you "don't have to be talented" to do this, but I guess if you are only copying it's not a problem. Anyway, thank you very much.
Good video & cool choice (owls are awesome). It would be great if in the future you placed the camera more in front of you though. I would like to see the bit on the glass more than the back of your hand. Cool video though, thanks for the ideas. I just have a Dremel 100 basic tool to try it out and do some engraving as a stress reliever.
Don't ever apologize for your accent. Your English is great.
Agreed.
No one should have to apologise for such a lovely accent.
Gorgeous
Great ideas! Any specific info on what you're of lines the tips produce?
would help a lot if you changed the camera position so that the people could see better what you were doing with the diamond tip but still lovely work
what grit? shape? respirator? ventilation?
Thanks for the tool link however I couldn't make it through your video. Hint if you ever do another one...place camera where people can actually see what you are doing. All we could see was your hand!!
how long did it take in real time to do the whole plate?
40-50 minutes
thanks! looks great!
What speed?
it could be better
Nice job! A helpful hint: Note that due to the thickness of the glass, when you rotate the plate the position of the drawing changes relative to the position of the previous rotations' carvings. You need to either work from directly above so that rotation does not change the viewing angle or maintain a single rotation until you're finished.
Such a shame your hand covers most of the contact of the Dremel with the glass plate.
You are adorable! Great work... especially for your first shot. Thank you for sharing this video. And yes, don't apologize for your accent. You know two languages... that is fabulous! xoxo
TheRedPIll couldn't agree more!
Guys thank you somuch. It's great to hear good words... :-)
+muli507 Never apologize for who you are.
i'm not sure everyone can glass engrave. There are some pieces of work which command some high prices. The ability to use the correct tools and get the effects you need are skilled I think. Something that a glass engraver will do is go free style without the need of a stencil / transfer, making the work individual to them. I would like to ask, do you wear a mask to stop you from inhaling the small glass particles? Good job.
So much*
Oh wait till you hear the bad ones, thats where the fun really starts
Shabbat Shalom! God bless Israel
We love your accent :) peace from the USAGreat job!
Thank you so much for sharing! (I agree with Prepper, by the way, no need to excuse your accent.) Like Robert, I also have the same model Dremel and have wanted to try my hand at glass engraving. Since you said this was your first time, and you did such a great for the first, now I think I may have to purchase the diamond bits and give it a try! Thank you again.
That's awesome. Didn't think to do that. Thanks for the video
thanks Kristina... :-)
You can't see what you are doing because you hand is in the way!
Absolute SUPERB.... Wonderful job and well done.... Look Great....
That was very nice! Thank you. Accent was as perfect as your plate. I enjoyed this!
You need to change the camera angle so we can see what you are doing. Your hand is in the way.
This is the tip i wanted to pass along. How hard are you pressing down?
Great job! I just got a dremel engraver and etched a plate tonight. 😊
i do glass carving too and i can say one thing that is not easy and you need skill to do awsome carvings but your carving was super 🖒
Hey guy, thanks a lot for your help and for did the video willingly. Sorry about my English, I'm just a brazilian person who wanna learn how to do beautiful things like your job. Congratulations! Hello from Brasil!
Great video!!! Thanks for showing the possibilities can't wait to try!!!
You engraved it in negative......the black parts like the eyes you have done white (engraved?)
Great idea. Shame your hand was in the way. Perhaps next time you would be kind enough to re-position your camera please so we can actually watch as you work. I WILL copy your idea though. Jan UK.
What is the difference between the Dremel 3000 and the Dremel "engraver" 290?
Great first time job--Wear a mask for glass dust. You may not see it---But your lung will feel it...
Enjoyed it very much, too bad you couldn't have filmed from the other side so we could have seen more of the actual etching, not just your hand. Did you change the bit, or use the same one all the way through. Thanks. Carol
One thing which was never mentioned and is a huge must is to always wear protection. Glass particles being stuck in your lungs or your eyes is no joke and even though you might have ended up with a nice sketch on your plate, how is your health doing? Protective glasses and mask is amust at all cost !!!
It would be helpful if you would show the tip of the tool instead of the back of your hand so we can see what/how/the tip etc.your doing the engraving
Great shot of hands. Would like to see how you attack the owls and what bits used. Other than that really good clarity--- of knuckles
Si grabas un vídeo para mostrar cómo se graba vidrio, debes mostrar lo que haces. Si tapas con la mano es como que quieras mostrar el contenido de un libro y lo mantengas cerrado.
cool accent,..not so cool camera angle,..but i now know what my diamond bit is for, thanx!
Might have been a good video if you had placed the camera anywhere except behind your hand. We couldn't see anything you were doing.
when a L. handed person does a demo video no can see what you are doing because your camera is behind your left hand, Hint move your camera to your right side so your video will be more effective
Your hand is blocking the view of your strokes, it would be a much better video if I could see how you are stroking the glass. You might want to try recording on the other side so your strokes are visible.
Did you have a lot of dust or fragments coming off as you were drilling? And did the plate get hot from the friction?
I was hoping this was an engraving tool, but isn't it a scratching tool?, so I shall look elsewhere
your hand is covering up your work. try putting the camera in front of you
wanted to see it while it's being done
Man that is awesome:) thanks. Where did you find that pic at I'd like to do that in a plate for my mom she loves owls
Do they have that small extension for jobmate rotary tools? would the dremel one work on my jobmate rotary tool?
It would be wise to save your lungs and wear a respirator or at least a dust mask while make glass shards that are air borne,,,or use a water drip.
at the end it's good work but bad position of the cam ... thanks
when using a diamond bit you should use a coolant to extend the life of your bit
I you use your left hand, you should set the camara on your right next time.
Did you use one bit, with no water for the entire plate? If so I'll give this a shot.
Excellent, Thanks for sharing.
That was OUTSTANDING! I'm trying to gain confidence by watching some Dremel videos - the hardest part of doing it is STARTING it... & quit putting it off 'til later! THANKS for the push! : )
Muli507, thanks for sharing.
This is one of the only people so far who has good English and has a good video. Nice vid
I think you did a great job! Inspires me to pick up my dusty Dremel and make something beautiful with it. Thanks for the video.
so everyone is just going to ignore the horrible musical selection?
use a word processor/editor and print the words backwards before you start
Did you carve where was the black on the picture ore the white?
i liked ur video very much can u tel how to find which bit to use for which work
For the next vídeo try to set the camera on the opposite site to have a close look of the (Fernando Pessoa)ur work
שלום היי אשמח לקבל מידע היכן אני יכולה לרכוש את המכשיר מאד נהנתי המייל של bguy@bguy/org , תודה
Good video man, from the states. Thank you
Awesome job! Beautiful result! Thanks for sharing your talent with us!
Nice knuckle action! Way to fist the camera!
Great! I am looking for basic info like this!
where did you find that picture really cool
nice view of the back of your hand!
Wow thats so nice. Thanks for sharing.
That's an excellent first effort! I wish your hand wasn't blocking your camera shot, though! Your camera should have been placed on the opposite side of your hand, or positioned over your work, so that it was shooting the tool working.
Absolutely, but I invite you to watch my another video. Better visual angle
how to engrave yoda
Very nice! Thank you. :)
Hard to see through your hand!!
Useful tips, but you've got your hand in front of the etching you are doing the whole time. :( Would of been more useful having the camera view from the other side!
I was going to say the same thing!
great job im a new subscriber
Hey thanks a lot! Makes this seem a lot more practical to me. I have a few questions about what tools are you using, at what speeds, and what specific bit did you use? Thanks
Thank you. I use a diamond bit I bought on eBay. I set the highest speed and The head itself was one that seemed thick enough and clear.
thanks for the ebay link
Wow great work and I love owls :)
Great idea. Thank you for sharing!
thanks. video helped a lot
very nice.... really like it
That's pretty sweet dude.
wrong camera position
Can you use this on stainless steel?
Which dremels did you use?
BEAUTIFUL. THANKS
Very nice tutorial.
thanks for the vid
what size bit was it please?
this is great! thanks
Fantastic job ❤
Great Video my friend !!! You did a beautiful job a few questions please you said we could ask here ....
Did you have a lot of dust or fragments coming off as you were drilling? And did the plate get hot from the friction?
Thank you for the wonderful DIY and Warm Hugs from NC USA
Who takes a video did not think at all, nothing can be seen when you are working, what a pitty
I know ... unfortunately I did not see it when I shot. I invite you to watch my other video where you see better... how to engrave yoda
That was nice
Thanks
non si vede niente di come lavora!
That rocks.
Very good man
Love the accent

idoni azeta
