This was exactly what I was looking for! I've been curious if I could use the Dremel for engraving. I was doubly excited when I found out that you were also a veteran and are from Phoenix (my family lives there). Such amazing work and you've seriously inspired me. Thank you! Now I need to learn how to do this myself. So glad to see that you're involved with the Wounded Warrior Project. Keep up the amazing work!
How do you make sure that artwork stays unchanged ( or not prone to new scratches while cleaning the engraved on the vehicle during cleaning)? Basically, my question is what measures does one take care after engraving
Off topic question? Well first things first. Thank you for your service and your work is fantastic! I was in the 82nd back in ‘03-‘06. So the question I have is about your freedom truck. Do you know the size flag needed for that headliner? Wanting to do that to my truck. Don’t want to undersize it.
Love your work.. and the simple approach to explaining the process. Being I am new to this type of engraving I was wondering do you buy aluminum with the darker surface and if so where can someone purchase it. I've never seen that type aluminum. Thanks for any help.
Thank you to the tips on speeds, using you hand as a base, types of bits, how to corner, your different techniques. So, so helpful. Please post more technique and how-to videos, boss. Your art is awesome, btw. I'm still working with wood.
I’ve been having trouble engraving on polished obsidian with diamond burrs but I suspect it may be a quality issue with the burrs from Amazon. Skipping/chatter is the main problem I’ve experienced.
I made a number of tools that I would like to engrave with all the same engraving on the steel rod. Is there a way I can make a pattern to do multiple?
How do I transfer an image onto a primary cover? I engrave pnuematicly, some Dremel, but mostly pnuematicaly. Your not hiring any help or need aprentice right? Love your work I talk about you all the time. Thanks.
Your q bad ass bro seriously amazing what you do with a dremel truly inspiring watchin your work 🙌 hella tight and did your lid tats hurt Haha they is tight tho 💪💪💪💪
I have a large stainless ice bucket I want to hand engrave as part of a large trophy. What bit type & speed should I look for? I'm not interested in laser engraving or chemical etching... and most companies won't engrave it because it's a curved surface, hence the hand engraving plan. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!
Where can I get a pneumatic hand held machine like yours. I've done about everything from tattoos, airbrush, wood burning. And I can freehand draw everything.
And most importantly, try to think along the lines of COINS instead of sculptures, meaning not too deep or you'll create a potential for cracks. Especially in decades old pieces of cast aluminum from the shovelhead days.
What bit was used for you eyes tattoos
Eyes or eye lids 😂🤣
I have you to thank for the quality of the phrase "Git Rekt" engraved into my 1911 slide 👍
Just started engraving motorcycle parts for my uncle's shop and really appreciate any tips to help get better results. Thank you
