- After a lot of procrastination I finally committed to upgrading my scope.
I haven't done a lot of long range shooting in the last few years but decided to get back on the horse and brush up on a few skills.
Yax is a handy long range shooter so he gives me a hand getting everything dialed in. - Спорт

Good advice muzz re validating your drop charts, apps, or whatever before taking pop shots at live animals. Lookingn forward to when you two get back out on the hill when the dust settles!

AND know what your muzzle velocitys at! if ya want to extend your range & reap the results consitently ya gotta put the time in on the range - nice choice of scope too mate, I had one & they are good value for $$ they dial well & optically are up there with the best! hot barrels for the roar

Nice mate. I'm currently using that exact scope on my 6.5.
Have been using it to shoot steel to 900m and deer to 400m. Enjoy! It'll make the longer shots alot easier. 👍

would you lap the ring and then the scope to the rings as well or not after that sort of range out of it ?
I dont no much about lapping rings and we didn't do it. I have been told that it often doesn't make much of a difference if you buy good quality rings in the first place. These were Optilocks and hopefully they will do the trick.
