How to Facelift BMW E64 convertible rear - Trunk Lid

In this entertaining insightful DIY video, you can follow the full stages of replacing a E64 BMW 6 series convertible's worn, vandal-scratched, faulty LED pre-facelift trunk-lid to a new one.
We also deal with the diversity sensor, antenna, BMW emblem switch, actuator, locking mechanism cable harness, adjustments etc.
The E63/64 6 series production was from 2003 to 2010.
Facelift was from 2007 august - 2010 october.
Facelift means: rejuvenating the car, making it more fresh during its mid-term production without making it too difficult for the factory or for the car owner, like new designed headlights, taillights, bonnet, trunk lid, front bumper, rear bumper, fenders, interior, trim, wheels, refined engines, but the chassis & drivetrain basically remains the same.
My plan was to make my current 2004 E64 645Ci a fully individual LCI M6 replica, and this LCI tailgate / bootlid played a major part in finishing the facelift project.
