- Good morning! We had a beautiful rainy day this past week, so I decided to run out and practice my camera skills. I had a bit of coaching from Aaron… 😉 He also edited it, which is really where the magic happens. I love the garden in the rain! Enjoy!

@Barbie Vee so glad im not the only one. I started bawling when I saw Benjamin's trike in the veggie garden. It reminded me of when my son was little. With everything going on right now, all I want to do is hug him but he's in another state. I hope you and your family are well & safe.

I am beyond words.
And i feel weird how people from other parts of the world without much rain treat it. I come from the foothills of the Himalayas, the most rainiest place on earth (Mawsyndram) is only miles away from me. It rains here nearly all the time.
We treat a sunny day like you treat a rainy day.

Ditto ! This was just magical!! I love hearing the rain in Spring, it just refreshes the garden. The growth of the bulbs are amazing 😉. I planted a big grouping of bulbs at my mother’s grave last Fall. The grounds are closed due to covid so I don’t know how they are doing.☹️. God , please help the world heal , esp. those cities like NYC. When we come out of this, I would like to see the world continue to be brotherly and sisterly to everyone they meet , pass on the street....

I usally dont post personal stuff, but being that i work from home for the past 25 yrs. and enjoy my job. I have been a little down and when I have a good cry i'm good after that. 3 AM had Covid booster yesterday and now have 101 temp bodyaches and nausea. No one else up and too icky to read or watch a video. Turned to Laura as my own, personal “soother.” What a blessing to be able to listen to the rain and her voice on other videos; she’s like a great mother to us all. Thanks Aaron and Laura for being out there for us.

Thank you so much for posting this. So beautiful! Absolutely loved the mallard pair at the end. Everytime I see a pair it makes me think of my grandparents. They absolutely loved mallards. My grandma was the one that I picked up gardening from. It brought happy tears to my eyes.❤❤

I miss England, and it's rain. And how green it is. I am in KCK and want to get my garden as lush as this. Watching this today has cooled me down as we currently have an excessive heat warning. This video has just been such a pleasure to watch.

I love the little ducks!! Mallard ducks always remind me of my grandmother, she loved them & had a pond built on their property just so she could have ducks! 😊 You guys should install a pond on the new land! 😊

Watching your videos has put life back into my corner of the world. I'm a woman in my mid 40s going through a tough time as the change has hit me and I started losing my hair. Then my father, my best friend passed away and I just sunk into a deep depression. Now this whole coronavirus thing. Well, watching your videos just makes me happy inside and I thank you for that. Your landscape is absolutely gorgeous and the talent you have for placement is amazing. This video was much needed and it is cherished. Thank you to Mr. Aaron as well for his beautiful editing skills. May you and your family be safe, healthy and have an abundance of blessings!! I love the way the planters look when wet, even your greenhouse, to me the colors of the world take in a depth and beauty you can’t see in a sunny day when the sun is too bright. I have to say... this is perhaps my most favorite video Laura. Especially now. For the last week we Oregonians near Portland have had suffocating smoke surrounding our gardens. I can't go outside to work in my garden. I just pray for rain and I pray for the end of the horrific fires on the West Coast and I pray for those people who have lost their homes, even loved ones to the uncontrolled fires. I pray for people to awaken and listen to the earth's cries for changing our behaviors that contribute to the destruction of the earth and our climate. Even the music in this video is poignantly sad in reminding me how much we have to lose... the beauty, the glory, the precious life on our planet. I cling to hope that spring will come again and people will awaken to our beautiful planet and take better care.
