I so appreciate the reality of what you were showing us. You don’t wait until everything is all tidy and pristine. You show us what your garden really looks like with the things that need to be deadheaded or trimmed, etc. That’s one of the many things I love about your channel.

Cannot believe how the supervisors bubblegum literally stood out more than anything else on the property to me! I’m all about perennials when I can for more bang for the buck, but man!! Spectacular

I feel bad when I see any bug damage on your plants, but to be honest, it's a great comfort to me to know that we are all dealing with the same issues and that no garden is immune. And of course the advice for how to combat the problem is very welcome!

@@kathy5216I wonder if Laura has considered putting in some pockets of milkweed for the monarchs. I get it, though. I’m from her area and most of the farmers in the area think of them as weeds. They do grow well there on ditch banks and such with no care whatsoever.

Benjamin running when the drone went through where the trees canopy over the gravel lane just melted my heart. For some reason it brought tears to my eyes. Perhaps because I don’t have children and find it so special? I don’t know. But breath taking views!

wow! the drone shots at the end just took my breath away.. i remember when you bought the property in 2016 and think back on those first videos when i see these tours... my oh my oh my.. just how proud you two must be of the land acquisition, the plantings, the amazing gardens you are building.. honestly, having watched you since the beginning (2014???) it brings happy tears to my eyes to see all that you've accomplished, and you've been generous enough to take us along for so much of it!! i have the image of Benjamin running in the grass, following you, racing the gator - it is burned in my memory bank because it's the perfect picture of the happiest child growing up in a place like this.. and now we have Samantha Grace following, too... and can i just say planting those arborvitae as a privacy fence line was brilliant!! i know you have great neighbors but those houses are close... just like down here in socal!! haha... thank you so much for sweating out the heat and humidity to show us around, thank you for showing us the successes and the problems - because aren't we all dealing with that??? and with the heat that so many of us are feeling, yeah.. it can all wait till another day... stay cool and hydrated!!! 🥰❤thanks for the video!!🥰❤

You guys make such a great team -- I love Aaron's ability to capture close-up details with the camera (and the drone footage of course!) as well as seeing all of Laura's beautiful plant combinations. While I'm grateful for any time you can give to tours, I would LOVE to see a slower, more detailed look at the South Garden in summer because my goodness, there is just so much to love and learn from in terms of height graduation, color mixing and plant combinations. Proven Winners is lucky to have you guys because you make me want ALL THE PLANTS (as I might jokingly tell my husband four or five times a days to his good-natured eyerolls!) Garden design may feel somewhat natural and normal to you Laura but you are a truly special talent. Together with Aaron you two bring me such joy with your videos. Love to you both for all that you do.

I do appreciate seeing the “bad side” and the short process of y’all panning over to the more presentable side of a container or plant. It makes a huge difference but helps with understanding the plant more ❤❤
Beyond beautiful! The annuals are worth their cost to add those beautiful pops of color. The drone shots and music at the end were amazing. The grass pathways are perfection. Throughout your entire property your layering game is spot on! Up close you notice plants that require deadheading, but when viewed as part of the whole everything looks phenomenal. I think those tall weeds are on to you Laura, and know that their only chance of survival is to grow up through the centre of a plant! 😂. The drone view is always spectacular, but Benjamin and Samantha running and waving was the best. 😊 I’d like to request an annual original drone view vs a current drone video of your property. I think that would be incredibly inspiring. Oh, and thanks so much for an underwater peak at the koi - that was fun!

As I was watching the drone footage at the end of today's fabulous garden tour, I almost felt as though I needed to pinch myself. I have watched that magnificent garden unfold one plant at a time! Gives a body the courage to soldier on. Just LOOK at what you can do, one plant at a time! And as always, your beautiful children bring their joy to the garden experience.
Seing Benjamin run made me emotional. I remember when you guys just moved into this property, and when Laura was expecting him, I was expecting my first as well.

Wonderful tour as you showed and told all the 'things' you needed to do which is helpful. Loved the overhead and peaceful music.I just realized that since your gardens are not open to the public we, the viewers, get private tours very often without moving from our easy chairs. We are so happy to have that blessing from you all.
One thing I love about these tours is I get ideas for my yard when I see certain flowers or bushes that you show.
I especially love the video at the end.
My favorite part was with Benjamin. I loved when he was running down the driveway in between the trees it reminded me of "run Forest run," it was so adorable.

I finally had time to watch this video, thank you for taking the time to make it in the heat. I must say it was so good for me to see you have weeds, things that need cut back and things that are not performing, this is not because I wish any of these things upon you just that I need to feel it is normal no matter how hard you work, and you work hard! Sometimes as a Gardner I walk through my garden and see what needs to be done instead of all that has been done. The drone footage was awesome, I teared up watching Benjamin run along the path. I just spent the morning. Working in my garden with my 38 year old son . Believe me, These are precious days.
