Looking to do my First Travel Assignment in Jan 2023. I'm an Endoscopy RN with 17 yrs experience in the field. I've been an RN for 42yrs. I plan to stay at an Extended Hotel for the first week of my contact. Then if all goes well; I'll extend at the hotel or find a Studio or 1 bd apartment. Thanks for the video!
what staff agencies do nurses use to find housing? anyone know? what Doc should I ask for to screen the nurse? because so many scammers contact me via Airbnb. so scared now to rent my house.
Hi. I have heard that travel nurses are in highest demand at level I and level II trauma hospitals. Is this true? (By extension, I would assume that this would also apply to Pediatric Trauma Centers, Provisional Level 1 Trauma Centers, and Provisional Level 2 Trauma Centers.) If this is accurate, then to what extent would you say travel nurses are employed at hospitals that do not fall into one of the above categories?
what should a house owner do? where do we find more nurse or staff agencies? coz we hate scammers too. if you ask a host to book off airbnb we would run away! so many scammers ask to do that. I would rather the nurse to build relationship with the house owner and get referrals. and can get discounts from repeat customers. We STR/MRT hosts don't do it on Craigslist because too many scammers.
Hi. Thanks for the great video. I'm wondering if you can address the following. I am a provider of travel nurse housing. I'm trying to find travel nurse discussion groups on FB in order to have discussions with travel nurses to find out what type of things they look for when seeking furnished accommodations. However, most of the travel nurses groups I've been able to find on that site seem to limit this in one of two ways. First, if you are a landlord (not a travel nurse) you can only join groups allow posting of properties, but no general discussion or questions. Second, for the groups that do allow general discussion and questions, you must be a travel nurses. Do you know of any groups that allow non-travel nurses to join for the purpose of general discussion and questions with travel nurses?
Furnished finders has gotton to be insane with prices for tiny, uncomfortable half furnished places. Not what it used to be. People trying to take advantage of travel nurses. Really sad
@@allanwatts8361your exactly right. Most companies are now giving traveling nurses $4Grand a month for housing/living expenses. So they are not spending their own money…win/win
@@asianstud7 True and they shouldn't have to! They should live great lives because they deserve it. Although we need to Keep up with the news and the nurse strike that they won. Nurses are now making bank but still wanting US landlords to compete for a race to the BOTTOM and see who has the most extravagant place at the CHEAPESt price??? No thank you, Idk about you but I invested tens of thousands of dollars for my MTR HOUSE to be an experience and I refuse to compete with $600 a month 1 bedroom condos!
This is different for every country. I would see if there are any agencies that specifically help nurses from India work in US. It will likely be a long process with visas and possibly retaking NCLEX. I found this website with some information www.cgfns.org/steps-to-working-as-nurse-in-united-states/
Great insight from the traveling nurse perspective. I am just starting to put my place up on Furnished Finders.
Im getting my new place ready now also!

Great content. Do you give your tenants access to your mailbox so that they can start receiving mail? Or do you require that they maintain a PO Box?
Enjoyed ur video - I'm a Host with FF. Great Site!!!
#rockfordbungalow in Rockford Illinois is an option for shared or exclusive options
Hi, you have some great info! Could you give me the name of the hotel in the Bay Area that was 40% less? Thank you!
It was Sonesta in Santa Clara. They did increase rates when I was there. Extended Stay America in Edenvale was also cheap.

No problem!
dont the nurses get stipends that subsidize the cost of housing?
Yes they do. You'll have to calculate how much the Stipend will be and then decide how much you'll want to spend.
