- Hi guys,
for this time, I tell you the story of the Hundred Years' War, that several of you requested. I hope you will find it enjoyable. Please continue to send your requests and suggestions in your comments and to my inbox, I will not be able to do everything but I prioritize the most requested themes.
As someone who loves ASMR and is taking AP world AND loves European history, your channel is AMAZING. I can relax and learn at the same time, thank you! Keep it up
Thank you sir, for the time and effort you put into these lessons. This is what UA-cam should be all about. Thanks once more.
Joha O thank you for your kind comment!
The French Whisperer You really have a gift for this. Thank you for sharing it with us.
These are some of the best videos I have had the pleasure to stumble across! You are very knowledgeable and present ideas in a coherent and easy to digest way, while not skimping on the details. Brilliant! The history of Indonesia would be incredible to see if you're stuck for ideas- such an interesting and syncretic place, with such a rich story.
Seriously, man. Your videos are excellent. Especially the ones in French for someone like me who's in the process of learning. Not only do I have a resource to go to for very clear french pronunciation, but It's delivered through very interesting and informative videos to boot.
I hope you stick around. You rock.
And it looks like you're interested in doing a video on Cajun culture. Hardly an expert since I'm from California, but I do have a couple links related if you're interested.
beautiful cajun music in the 1981 film southern comfort.
American Traditional Cajun Music
Louisiane 2010 (5): Parler français

Excellent lessons. Please consider a lesson on Battle of Alamo.
Could you do something around historical Scotland? I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and would love to hear your voice speak through some of the history of my beautiful country (:
***** This was already requested a couple of times, your interest is noted! Thank you.
...AND the Mississippi Valley Connection to Kentucky-Ohio especially
This is my 3rd night falling asleep to these awesome videos. best asmr on youtube👍👍👍
I don't know if you look at these videos with any realization of how many people you've helped passed some difficult classes, but on behalf of all of us, thank you
Love all of your videos.. Very relaxing AND educational!! I am from Louisiana, and my ancestors were the Acadians...I would LOVE to hear you talk about them!
Great video, I'd love to use a time machine and visit England and France during this period or any period in history for that matter :)
I reeeeaaaally wouldn't
be careful what you wish for
Fantastic videos. Please continue to make these historical videos. The medieval ones are really interesting for me
Listened to all your uploads, really enjoying them. Thank you sir.
you should come back
Good idea.
I would love to hear you speak about feudal Japan, especially the Edo period.
Suggestion noted, thanks. However I am rather ignorant about this period, so I should not be able to do it soon.
Thank you for making this video. It is nice to have a video on the Hundred Year’s War from a French perspective. I must say King Charles VII had tremendous style for a king. He must be the founding father of French fashion LOL.
Thank you for educating me Sir! I never learnt this topic at school so I'm very grateful. I am English and I'm unsure how to pronounce Plantagenet. I understand you say it differently because you are French but for us Brits I always thought we said Plant-Agent. But that would mean ignoring the second 'e' so now I'm not sure.
LTaylor_96 Thanks for you comment. I did not really know how to pronounce Plantagenet either, so I went for the French way!
The French Whisperer I'm pretty sure you could use either the French or the English pronunciation (Plant-Ah-genet). It was started by Geoffroy le bel d'Anjou who was nicknamed Plantegenest, a Medieval French translation of Planta Genista: the Latin name for the plant that he would wear as his crest. It wasn't used until Richard of York took the surname to validate his claim as a descendant of the houses of Anjou and England, where most Plantagenets would have called themselves Angevins, literally those from Anjou.
Excellent video!!! Very relaxing
These videos are so helpful with my university studies. Tyvm! Any world war videos? Either one would be awesome. I know that's a huge area of opportunity, but anything surrounding these topics would be fantastic. Tyvm again!
Great informative and relaxing video, i also couldn't help noticing you look alot like Zidane in his earlier years.
Wonderful! I tryly love these historical whispers. I wonder, would you be able to make a video on the seven years war? Perhaps that loss of New France (Quebec) In North America? or something along those lines...if it is not to much! Thank you for your wonderul videos
Hi, thank you very much. As 2/3rds of my subscribers are from the US and Canada, I have several franco-american projects along those lines: the history of Louisiana, the history of Québec, and the history of the Acadians. I should be able to record one of these before the end of the year.
