Hell yeah, but a finale already? , I was just getting invested in the characters, but love this series anyway and love the use of how they are portrayed giving me children of the revolution vibes and love the the fact they have personality unlike the new series drones and which makes me wish the writers would make other leaders or scout leaders like this, But overall cant wait till next Friday thought.
@@DalekDalmatian-the-prop-maker the new series daleks die and kill too much unlike the original 60s daleks who turned humans into robotic slaves instead of mindlessly killing them
Jesus, that last shot. Stuff of nightmares. This is everything I ever wanted from the Cult of Skaro. Experimenting, backstabbing, individual voices. Yeah still looking to be my favourite Dalek story.
"You can hardly be considered a Dalek" DAAMMMNNN! Amazing script, animation acting... All bloody fantastic! And that ending visual! Genuinely creepy. Just- utterly amazing
To say that this is incredible would be an understatement. This should honestly be used as a guide for people wanting to write for the Daleks as it captures more than them shouting "Exterminate". It captures their deviousness, their manipulation, something that is missing with some of the new series stories.
Honestly not often do I watch fan made content and forget it was not an official production, this series is amazing. It's like Doctor Who meets The Thing, so 2 of my favourite things combined. I love how each dalek has a personality to them, it's a careful balance as to not go too far and make them seem out of character and this walks that line perfectly. That with some amazing shots and models and just a generally foreboding tone makes it such an intriguing watch. Keep up the amazing work, I hope the BBC sees this and takes note of your talent!
Honestly. This is how the Daleks should be portrayed in the future. Their own internal conflicts should drive their actions. Of course the OG depictions are likeable, but there are only so many times a dalek invasion for the sake of a dalek invasion can remain interesting. This reminds me of the official dalek series that was on UA-cam last year, which I also liked. But this is great. Incredible work. Can’t wait for the finale.
this happened a lot in comics, such as the dalek chronicles a very old dalek comic series and it happened a small amount in new who with the cult of skaro turning against dalek sec and his human dalek project in dalek in manhattan
Oh my god that was awesome. I’m not even exaggerating when I saw my jaw dropped as soon as I realised those two daleks where about to fight. This series is so incredible and I can’t wait for the finale. You should be very proud of what you’ve achieved
There's so much to commend in this, but one thing that stands out for me is the colour palette you've chosen, both in the Dalek ranks themselves (the collars and cuffs) and generally. It all has a movie quality that still feels like it's in the same universe as the TV show. Stunning work.
i love how the daleks arent just exterminate drones but you still made them believable characters as daleks, super wow. yet again THE LIGHTING IS PERFECT
I love the interactions between the Daleks. I can't get over how much better this is than the TV show. I wish the BBC would wake up and produce stuff like this instead of the stagnant mess we see on TV.
I don't actually understand how this can be so good, WHY HAVEN'T BBC HIRED YOU?!! 😂 Also, I love the colourations to only some panels on the bronze model Daleks, it looks so much better than the completely black Dalek Sec model (which I still love)
This is so amazing. I love the Daleks as complex characters (The Dalek Chronicles 1960s comics does this well). Seeing a hovering Dalek fight is such a great concept am surprised it's never been done before, and was great that they're both at slightly different angles. The outside the saucer conversation was a great piece of lighting, framing and writing. Also the lighting of inside / outside the station. This is all just so brilliantly animated, written and the sound effects / music, it's just, fantastically well done.
I always feel like its really tough to make Daleks into believable and complex characters, since its always a case of black-and-white due to Dalek ideology. Either they're mindless drones or ''defective'' in some way, but here you've actually played with the fact they are individual, organic, intelligent and have enough complexity in their hierarchy to make Daleks actually respond differently to the same situation (although clearly they were not regular Daleks, as the colour scheme is an indication of rank/role?) In any case, my expectations for this series are up, but I'm enjoying it anyways!! Well done!!
Easily explained when interacting with other species. We never see them like this, just Daleks interacting as all intelligent races interact. Plonk a human in front of them and they'll forget their differences until the creatures destroyed, then return to bickering again.
Im so exited, the last episode was absolutely fantastic, and looked as if it took a lot of time and effort, which makes it all the more impressive that another is being released
More! I must have mooooore! Do not question me! Must have moooooooooooore! Great movies. I was looking for part 3 and looked and saw this was released yesterday! I will look for the next ep impatiently!
Just found these two stunning episodes of "Infiltration of the Daleks". Absolutely superb in every way; the quality of the rendering, the sets and backgrounds and, most of all, the Daleks themselves with their individual characters, voices and mannerisms. In some ways, this has overtones of the 1960s TV-21 Dalek stories, where the Daleks operated in their own universe, free of the constricting Doctor Who connection. In one of those tales, a Dalek called Zeg was enhanced, structurally and mentally, after being saturated in a new compound called "Metalert", following an explosion in the research lab where he was working. Following this, Zeg challenges the Emperor to a dual to the death, in an effort to take control of the Dalek race. Ultimately, he is defeated but, just as in these modern stories, this tale helped to establish the Daleks as individuals and not, as Trevor so rightly says below, as "mindless robots". Do you have a Patreon link, as I would be very happy to give a donation towards future production costs?
Interesting to have Daleks properly conversing with one another Sort of reminds me of Daleks in Manhattan or the other part to that when they're talking in the tunnel and one looks around before bitching about Dalek Sec haha, Daleks with actual opinions... Also interesting to have so many named Daleks too, more than just the cult of Skaro eh? Curious to know how long you've been working on this?
This is amazing, difficult to believe it's fan made, great animation and story and the music winds its way and wraps each episode wonderfully. Congratulations!
It's really hard to describe just how good this fan series is. It completely destroys the official dalek series in animation, music, and story. You can't help but be amazed at the work done here. I'm seriously excited to see what comes next in the finale.
Again, excellent stuff. This is cinematic and creative, the last shot with the Dalek opened up is a good cliffhanger to end on! Will be returning for future episodes with great interest
More please. Outstanding stuff. Proof positive (were any needed) that the Daleks are more than capable of supporting their own episodes when properly written...
Seriously this is sooooo good. Best Dalek content I’ve ever seen. The cinematography is amazing, the visuals, the sound. You have such talent. This will go far. Thank you
I have to say the animation in this is great and I love the voice work of the Daleks too great idea to have a fight between two Daleks, 1 loyal to the Emperor as they should be and the other loyal to the leader of the mission and not the Emperor. Well done I’m impressed and I look forward to seeing the next episode. Keep up the good work 👏🏻👏🏻 xx
The whole thing is stunning, but I'm already (after only 2 episodes) addicted to the wonderful title sequence and the music / theme that goes with it. So much work must be involved in it all. The images involved in the Time War info dump must have taken ages to create in itself.
That was brilliant, very few nitpicks I would have with this, i dare say it gives the actual show a run for its money, I can’t wait for the next episode!
This is outstanding - a terrific script, fabulous animation, gorgeous set design, exquisite use of lighting and a sumptuous score. The direction needs a little work, but seriously, this is terrific work, I love it!
This is brilliant! I only gripe it the music levels go way too loud at times. I have a pair of Yamha HS8 studio monitors and the range of 40hz and below is excessive in places. But apart from that it's brilliant.
Not much to say that isn't already said below, but the visuals of the Daleks gossiping in space with the changing shadows and movement..beautiful. Definitely easily a rival of anything I've seen on the actual show. They should be in touch with the likes of you.

Okay...the Cult of Skaro (#gonebutneverforgotten) would be proud of this series. Looking forward to the next episode. However, the audio mix seemed a little off. A lot of the incidental music was way too loud, compared to the dialogue and sound effects. Other than that, quite good.
When 1 dude has created a better story in less than 30 mins compared to the entirety of season 11 and 12 of modern doctor who. Really though, great work. The animation is amazing, the characters are unique and the story keeps you wanting more. I actually thought this was an official product when I first saw episode 1. Keep up the good work.
