I skipped on Herman as I run 2 cav 2 inf and 1 archer.
I actually think ZL is a must. His all damage reduction aoe is GOLD. Even though I bench Ysg it aids my 5 marches massively.
I don’t want two archer marches as they are so so slow. My nev/joan and huo/william are just to fast.
If I hadn’t boudica I would def have made Hermann. I made Liu che instead.
for me it's a 5551 for any player having Zhuge expertised and play 1archer march but i agree only if you already have atleast 3 good marchs and no boudica P (can be others factor like how many time to reach 5551 from now. but expertise he's for whale/high spender(or ultra archer focused) atm i think.

Edit: I don't know if you run him with scipio, but that march with the 4 PC set bonus and crit wind scars.... 😳 faster than some cav marches 😂😂😂 I'm a march speed guy myself, and scipio already has sweet rage Gen in the support tree, so I chose to run with ring and wind scars, because why not when horn is making you over rage alot of the time anyhow?

When I use 4 marches with 1 in rallies I use scipio/liu che, boudica/ZL, huo/william and nev/joan.
Scipio/liu che really is a beast of a march. I won’t lie I miss the silence of guan sometimes but that mean I have to pair Liu che with guan as my other inf is harald and alex. 🥹
I was in the same situation as you with the boudica ysg, but i went for Zhuge and benched ysg, so im gonna skip herman and stick with boudica zhuge since i dont wanna be running 2 archer marches and im f2p, so low on heads

Basically Ima push to 3 Archer marches.
Boudica/Zhuge, Ramesses/Amanitore (deceptively good in a murderball, not good in dueling), Hermann/Mehmed 5524 is what I’m gonna do.
Leave room for a new archer commander in the future.
So after I max Hermann, I’ll solely focus on an Infantry & Cavs from here on.
I think I chose the perfect time to start investing in my first archer march. I've began working on ZL, and next will be hermann. I see some longevity in the utility of this march, unless of course they release a march that AoE clears the stacks 😬 THAT would be nuts 😂😂😂

Does Hermann debuff poison stacks on structures? Is this tested yet? It says poison stacks on troops, garrisons are considered in a structure and not troops on a map.

Bro, this game has been called rise my kp for a long time, so I don't think Herman prime will be used much. But I definitely think Herman is phenomenal.
Hermann will help you get more kp than most comms bruh. He is the most valuable commander in any 5 march, he is tanky, deals good skill damage and applies a plethora of debuffs in many of his skills

Thats def a problem you got weak players bragging about having T4 kills from killing off siege. Now they got inflated kill points. Lilith should add troop type kills to expose ppl with gassed kills
@@realjohnlove I mean it happens whether they are T1 or T5. Players routinely kill off a bunch of siege they just trained to pad their KPs. I see it all the time, including in my own kingdom. Not exactly a shocker. I agree there should be more description on the KP chart delineating troop types etc
Im f2p , my line up is mainly buffing and supporting role. Herman is the perfect mix for me 5151 would be the best case scenario . As a f2p its difficult to survive any murderball fights against t5 players. I believe the ball with the most herman will win
you need ZL/Herman, but only if you get speed with it. Without speed, it is a sadface march. With speed, it is literal meta. Need 6% from versatility tree, need 2% from leadership pants, need 3% from armament, need a 7% march/7% attack ruen, and 6.5% from talented call of the loyal. If you do that and you have 15% from herman, civ gives 5%. all in all you get approximately 40%+ speed. triple line formation can be used for 5% speed, too. With that amount of speed, you can finally field ZL/Herm and use it as meta, instead of a sadface.

I run five fast marches and never leave home without my five member murder squad:
They are all equally fast, so that the get away and the chase down can happen instantly.
1. Guan/Scip
2. LC/ Alex
3. ZL/ Herm (with extreme speed)
4. Nev/Joan
5. T4 Trajan/Epic Joan (t4 for speed, does not need to do damage, just needs to amplify my other 4 marches).

The other marches, for me, as I have them are:
Guan/Scip
Alex/LC
Nev/Joan
ZL/Herman
Trajan/Epic Joan (t4)
The trajan march here is the real genius. It only needs to be t4. What he does is amplifies the other 4. So, the other 4 are the true meta and well equipped commanders with good armaments. Trajan/Epic Joan gives 1400 rage to you army (40 rage x 5 march x 2 seconds, followed by Joan's 50rage x 5 march x 4 seconds). That 1400 rage is more than one skill cycle worth of rage, so it is like your 4 dps marches get an extra 1.4 cycles (simplified concept here: each skill cycle costs 1000 rage, we get 1400 rage, so we are getting more than a skill cycle's worth of rage). Epic Joan and trajan with echelon formation also gives 30% skill damage x 5 marches, and gives 35% cav defense, 35% inf health, 35% archer attack. I have tested this extensively. In a five march, Trajan really does become the great duplicator, extending the 4 dps march's production to the equivalent of 5+ marches. If you watch chizgule's test, he is doing it wrong. He runs the marches to death. Not is not the way to do it. You have to keep the five marches alive and retreat before any of them get taken out. im in kvk currently where against 6 n 7 march player mostly... and some of them having maxed hermann in their lineup is just insane debuffing n nuke march melting my other 6 march..
in my opinion if your kd had alot player investing on hermann then your kd will be likely can win murderball much better due to the aoe poison..
boudica YSG and Zhuge 5553 Hermann are my 2 archer marches. I replaced Ramses Zhuge with hermann. I inrended to make Hermann the lead instead of Zhuge but the videos say Zhuge should be primary
Zhuge Liang has more survivability, and is less likely to be targeted in the field.

I have Zhunge Liang expertise, and I want to invest in Herman. Do I need to expertise him too, or I can stop let's say in 5/5/5/1? ( I don't have second archer commander expertise, I'm using expertise Honda with Zhunge)
I skipped ZL. Have a maxed boudi and YSG.
I only run 1 archer march dosent make sense investing in herman or ZL for me. Bsides boudi/YSG still clap cheeks. Except where the difference is night and day, My GH will be worthy somewhere else. As an f2p we need to be smart with com investment. As an F2p,
My Marches are all maxed Nev/joan, Huo/will, Guan/Skippy, lui/alex and boudi/YSG... Saving my gh for the next cav to replace william.
Agree totally. Unless you’re all in on Archers there’s no reason to waste heads on more Archer comms.

I have Boudica 5551 and exp YSG and I have the same conclusion as you. I skip Hermann just like I skipped ZL.
Skipping ZL is big mistake . His probably the best commander in the game. In overrall use , his simply best investment for most variety kinda like ysg but way stronger. Kinda like upgrading from belisarious to saladin lol
@@d0sxxgaming94 no its not. Running ZL YSG is bad bc no march speed and Benching YSG for ZL is mistake. I value more 700 sculptures than 10-15% upgrade in a commander. He isnt game breaking. Id rather invest these sculptures somewhere else or wait for real metabreaker.
Boudica YSG has pretty much the same damage as Boudica ZL the only diffrence is YSG is more squishy but not worth 700 sculptures.

Canyon isnt even a playmode to refer, ZL YSG is trash you get more hospital bill than kills
@@MrKlejuit not even 10-15% of a upgrade zl has better aoe damage tankier has a chance to remove debuffs like silences also has a 1500 aoe skill as a extra skill and when exp he gets 10% all damage for the first 15 seconds and deals 10% all damage after a active skill and also has a 15% damage debuff which benefits you and your mb
Doesn't sargon do the same poison effect for inf , that becomes aoe poison if the paired commander has aoe ?
Sargon applies it on only one target
