maxed him first day and I'm happy with him
I am debating since i have Gorgo Scipio LC Alex and Guan maxed i can get WW for three march but if he isnt that good i have to go for other option if ZL is better i may go for him what is stopping me is no equipments for archers i have.
I stopped at 5511 and I'm not a fan. Lui che and Alex feel better and from early results perform better. My ww is paired with my Mulan for now until something better comes along. I'm currently waiting for the new siege commanders anyways.
I don't understand why people don't see this: Wallace is the Huo Qubing for infantry. 1-on-1, he is a dueling champion. He just crushes people. But in a murderball, the 1-on-1 doesn't translate the same. Alex's area buffs are much more useful to your teammates. So, in murderball marches, Wallace helps you win. Alex helps your alliance win.
Have you compared WW with Pakal/Harald performance in murder ball?
I don't know what you guys are talking about. My Wallace+LC has slayed during all my kvk's battles since release. It even traded even when swarmed. Freaking great.
Yeah very true agreed.
The problem is that WWs biggest strength is his smite tree, which means next inf release he will probably be useless
@@neox6571ehm no, Scip + LC, WW + new inf or LC + Alex, WW + new inf or new inf + Scip, WW + LC still gonna work just fine 😉. For one inf it's a different story anyway as no one ever wants to bench a 30% health debuff (Scipio)

i invested on him because i'm running 2 inf 1 cav 1 arc on field. haha kinda inf main.
If u have zhuge/boudica its better to replace boudica with hermanP (or just wait for the new archer comm).
My line up is
Huo/william
Nev/hoan
ZL/hermann
Guan/scipio
Liu che/alex.
In this lineup huo/william are the biggest damage dealers. ZL/Hermann give th e most support. I will skip Wallace as if I bring him in it will be to replace guan. To me guans silence is much more valuable than a 1000 mighty shield. Alex debuff is also too important and Liu che/alex do really good.
I’ve felt beli p and Wallace have been meh if you have the top marches already.
He’s my best performing commander in my murder ball when paired with Liu Che by a very large margin.

I think you forgot that with WW as primary when he is fighting more than one enemy, his first skill deals smite damage up to 300 to 3 enemies attacking him, those 3 enemies also lose 45 rage each, due to Fight or Flight.

Lilith should have release inf comm that can work well with GY since LC already have Gorgo, scipio and Alex
just because that 40% damage only boosts one target damage, how does that suddenly drop his utility so low? Liu che was not getting that boost from anyone else anyway. And LC/WW both have huge normal damage boost that is basically smite damage active skill boost
It just confirmation bias , those who wanted to save gold heads for the next big thing , just got a little reason to do so .
WW still reduces rage and destroys almost every other commander in battle , and also gives a 1000 factor shield to allies.
if they want to wait a year for the next infantry commander that's upto them. or if they want to work on cav or archer march it makes sense. but infantry mains who need more than one meta march, WW is good

@@vikram-qf8xqit’s not that WW isn’t good or that him and Liu isnt the best match in the game. It’s just that Liu carries so hard. Liu and Alex isn’t as good buts it’s not super far behind. WW isn’t worth the upgrade if you have Alex and definitely not worth if you have Scipio
When comparing 2 commanders, having one more strong buff can be the difference between new super meta commander and an ok commander. When that buff loses most usefullness, there's no point in investing 690 heads on a slightly better commander than Scipio
@@goldnnchild4520 This makes sense only if you are working on another march of another troop type. An infantry main will probably want another meta march. That is why cav mains maxed huo when they could have stuck with XY
WW is new smite meta with talent tree. he may not be buffing aoe damage but he and liu both have normal damage buffs which is the same thing .
Some players can hold onto gold heads for another year till next infantry meta is released. Some people would rather enjoy the commander for that year while saving gold heads for the next .
2:30 The way this information is presented obfuscates what is really happening. Liu Che active skill should be 2250 not 1000. So losing the 15% doesn't drop it below 1000.
Its a shame if they fumbled on one of the most recognizable commanders from history.
Right now I have him unlocked and havent added anything to him yet. Im running LC/Alex and Guan/Scipio so I dont know if its worth it
Im also running Zhuge/Herman, Nevsky/Joan and Huo/William so I dont feel like there is anything I need to invest in either so its kind of boring at the moment.
I wouldn't invest in anything if I were you, wait for archers hoping in some more powerful release

I’ve invested in him anyway as someone who primarily plays with inf, fighting starts in a few days and looking forward to trying him out. My rationale really just was I just want to have my fun now and don’t really want to wait for the next inf comm. I do have alex but unfortunately don’t have double relic, because in that case I’d try to use both pairings and compare the two.
I'm in my first SOC and just rolled for WW, I have a max lui che should I continue to invest in my alex which is 5551 or start investing in WW 1111?

So I have an question. I run currently Guan/Scipio and Liu Che/Alex. Do not have Gorgo, Sargon or those commanders. I did however get 10 sculptures of William Wallace. Summoned him for the gold head value bundle.
Now my Guan is only 5155 and I don't have his museum buff yet.(Don't have enough either currency) ,and I've been wanting to bench Guan for the longest time.
Now. Should I get William Wallace to 5511 and continue working on him towards expertise or 5551? And should I pair him with Scipio first and use Wallace as secondary, or use Liu Che/Wallace? ((I do have Alex the Treat's museum buff... 2nd tier)

i have the same situation, im using 2 infa march with lc/alex and scipio/memed.. i have more than enough gh to max ww but i decided to skip.
With no Guan then you have to skip. Liu Che pairs pretty well with Scipio and carries Alex and WW
I fought a 1v1 with WW and i took more sev wounds than when i was swarmed by multiple marches in a ball!
When you dont have an inf march yet should you get Ww with Lc or Scipi with lc ?

I think RoK reached the state where they dont release commanders that are better then the actual commanders. You See this with belisarius or William wallace. You just have more options to choose.
I don't think this commander is flop. Many players from our kd have been working at him.
Not true, WW LC best trading march for me during a very intense KvK and as a KD you need many WWs in a murderball due to rage reduction; same as with Hermann.

@@xjrei17 makes no sense, as only this smite field duo is available. Also people tend to only look at one march, but we are not fielding only one march. As I said many WWs on the field are needed for rage reduction, same as Hermann is needed for poison stacks. The whole ball benefits. Not only from the rage reduction but also from the shielding (when there are many WWs). Always think about the ball and not one march individually. And beside these benefits this march gave me the best trades.
Alex is just versatile and can adapt to most situation while ww can nuke its damage and meant for rally and just too op for duel's
No chance I’m spending 690 gh to at best have similar results to Alex. Kinda sad because I also skipped Beli P. And the reality is that I run one archer march so the odds of me sitting ZL or Herman P are low too so now I’m sitting here like not collecting new commanders 3 cycles in a row. That’s not great for my desire to keep grinding and playing tbh
Yes I use scipio with Willam Wallace and lc/ Alex I didn’t invest in guan. Ww is at 5511 should get him expertise next kvk we are in.

@@juliens.2616 Jesus why have you benched guan? With Scipio still very good (you know, AOE + Silence). Alex without Liu Is Simply useless.
If you have trouble with you marchspeed fix talent tree and add the inf March Speed accessory.
I don't have guan so this is also my line up for infantry
The prime lesson is the same with every new commander: give the whales a couple weeks to test them before you invest as a non-whale.
I went for Hermann Prime.
I had Liu Che/Martel 5525. So William was ideal

Wallace ain’t getting my gold heads. LC/Alex is already so good and value I didn’t expect. Why would I invest to replace my best march? Yes Wallace is good but he’s just not worth what he costs to replace what he replaces.
it doesn't work as described by the publisher and it's useless using 1 slot of enhancement skills... really bad in terms of actual combat.
dont be like me i maxed wallace but the performance is just as good as scipio/liu or liu/alex in war, total regret, never trust 1vs1 report, scammed by lilith
